Hit Ball-Turf With This Move #golfswing #golf

Spencer was struggling to compress his irons because he was hanging back early releasing and he was also swinging over the top. So, we’ve got three very noticeable swing faults there. Now, the problem is where do we start? Which swing fault do we look at first of all? Now, in Spencer’s case, I wanted to see if I could get rid of the hanging back and also the over the top. My thoughts are let’s give Spencer one drill to cover the over the top and also the hanging back. Now, if we can think of this, if we can as we’re making our way towards the top, we can start shifting towards the target. So, as we’re getting towards the top, we start shifting towards the target. That’s going to allow us to get into that lead side a lot earlier, and it’s also going to allow the arms to do more of a drop. So, I’m getting to the top and then I shift and I let the arms drop. So, what that’s doing straight away is it’s getting me towards the impact line. It’s shifting me towards the target. What it’s also doing is it’s allowing the club to slot and be on a better plane on the way down. Straight away now, Spencer was actually striking the golf ball a lot more pure as a result of doing

If you struggle with thin or fat shots, this simple move will change your ball-turf contact. By starting your downswing earlier with a shift into the lead leg, you’ll move the low point forward and compress your irons like never before. This adjustment creates cleaner strikes, better distance, and more consistency.
