out of play to the right. And we were really reminded of that on 17 at the BMW at Cage Valley. You couldn’t miss that green right. You couldn’t even go at the flag and miss the green left three out of the four days and played the whole under path. This is a little bit downhill about eight or nine inches outside the left edge. [Music] There you go. First 30 today. That That’s five events in a row that he has shot every round in the 60s. That’s all the way the open championship and and 14 straight top eights with the most difficult angle from 129. Ball a little above his feet which will help him get that ball to move to the left. also on a good line [Applause] now. Shuffler for birdie. Two in a row for world number one. And one of those guys we talked about, the 10 of the 12 of the United States Rder Cup team just trying to get some work in before going to Beth Paige in two weeks, Scotty Sheffler. I wouldn’t say just trying to get some work in. This guy doesn’t just show up, you know, he’s there to do his best and try to get himself in contention by Sunday. Let’s clear that up right at the start. These guys are there to play professional golf. Be able to spin this. Looks good from here. Oh yeah. Oh yeah, that qualifies it really good. That is a great approach for Scotty Sheffer. He should get himself to two under par. There he is. Another birdie for Scotty. The true leader on the American side for sure. [Music] Well, he’s taking it up across the corner of the trees down the left hand side. Well, right into the slope. He’s in the fairway. He couldn’t have done much better than that. Yeah. 67 yds left. See how much spent he can get on it. Seems a little bit close to the hole to get a ton. That jumps to the back edge and will hang just off the back of the green. Just a moment ago, Scotty Shuffler not happy with that approach at 14. Downhill and quick. That wanders away. Boy, that is not even close. Got to keep the speed up here. Going to go left. Good save. Still has a couple par fives to play on this back nine as well. 15 is one of them. The next hole and this just right down Broadway. Good start for Scotty at 16. Yeah, both. Well, for sure Sheffller is going to have a chance to stuff something in there close. That’s a full wedge, too. So, this is going to have plenty of spin as well. [Music] There we go. Ah, that’s more Scotty like a guy who needs to make that little putt right there and cut into that frustration a little bit. All right. I’m sure he’ll try to take it down the left and bleed it a little bit to the right. It starts down the left back. No double cross. Wow, that’s a huge miss. And his swing is much more upright than mine. So, this tree is going to pose a bit of an issue, I certainly believe with his arm swing. He’s got to hit a little hook too on top of it to get it over into that fairway. And he’s done just that. Boy, he’s done a great job with it. And he’ll get it in the 16th fairway. Good luck finding the yardage for your third. But he’s got a chance. Yeah. Now for the further adventures of Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride. Hey, launched up and across and pretty much on the line Ted gave him. After all of that, he’s actually going to have a birdie putt at the par 51. not to be. [Applause] So he drives it over to 16, knocks it into the fairway from the tree, hits it onto the green, two putts, and makes his five. Oh yeah. Next on the tea, please welcome your 2025 US Open champion. Bring in Lauren. Skip it back there. Yeah, nice opening salvo there for Sheffler. might put it all to rest this week. Scotty Sheoffller on the tea here at the par 512. 573 the par five. Just try and take it down that left edge. Get a little cheaper yardage. It’s a beauty. It’s out there a long ways. Nearly 320 yards. Scotty from 255 237 to the front. This is on a great line. Yeah. just took a little off that Dre and just flighted it down. Turned it towards that play. What a gorgeous shot. Second on two and Eagles made. He’s made 14 this year. Got to hit it. That really wasn’t a very good effort. [Applause] Good start though. two birdies the first three holes and he had it 66 yds from the hole yesterday here at 14. This is a nice line right to the center of the fairway. Right edge of the green rejected there. A lot of tilt in these fairway. A lot of tilt in these greens. Scotty Sheoffller. He stopped pitching at the 14th for Bird. His second shot. Just long enough to hit this second shot. After birdies at 10 and 12. That was from 51 yds. Uses the spin and the slope. And that would lead to another birdie. Scotty, the world’s number one player, moved to five under par. Third birdie in his first five holes for Scotty Sheffller. That is thing of beauty. [Applause] I He is just absolutely dissecting each fairway. Let’s see how much slice spin this has on it. Things are going to hit the ground and wickedly go right. Yeah, really much. Oh, not as much as I thought, but it massed very nicely there. Here’s a birdie putt at 16. Got a good look from JJ Spawn’s putt before him. Took advantage of that. Oh no. Great. Those are the great call there, Trey. I don’t think Scotty can land this on the green. He’s going to have to skip this into the UPS slope. And this de on the ground is going to make that ball skip even more. Yeah, it took the spin off of it, too. [Music] Nothing phases this guy. This is absolutely perfect. There’s a little speed slot just left of the bunker. That was a nice little bounce. [Applause] This is leaking a little right. There’s a collection area over there. [Applause] That one didn’t quite [Applause] Yeah, the bunker the left 272 one down the right really not in play. Scotty, this is splitting the fairway. Those bunkers aren’t even in sight. Hey, you looked a little cautious at that one. I know obviously knows there’s a little bit of tilt in the fairway. Okay, right at it. Boy, I think a little unlucky there. It landed on the fringe, so it didn’t really bounce forward like he expected it to. buddy for birdie at eight. Still uphill and slow. There you go. This is what he does. He’s not particularly playing great cur, but he’s hanging around to a terrific start. Here’s a birdie putt at the fourth. He hit it to tap in distance at three. And here at four, wedged it past a hole. Big breaker to the right, but poured it right in the middle. So, a great start. Now, let’s stay with Scotty. Fast forward to the eighth. with another birdie putt. Had a wedge shot in here just outside 11 ft. And that also went right in the middle. That moved him to 10 under par. And then his second and nine from the rough. And the rough can be challenging here this week. The rough is challenging. These guys always have a shot, but it comes out hot and firm greens. But how about this control? He knew exactly where he had to land it for it to release like that. Up there close. Another birdie. Another birdie. Moved into 11 under par. He was starting to sniff the lead and his birdie putt at the 10th to move to 12 under. Drove it pretty close to the green. Had to play out to the left a little bit and he starts making these mid-range putts. The rest of these guys are in trouble. [Applause] You got to keep it down the right center of the fairway today. That flag’s all the way over on the left. [Music] Oh, this is flawless execution. Almost looked like sort of a chip cut freewood down there. That was really pretty. Needs big spin. He’s trying to tumble down there. Yeah, there’s a lot of slope behind that hole location and he knew it. It’s coming. [Applause] It just keeps trickling, doesn’t it? He’s putting everybody on notice. Scotty has seven birdies today. He’s within two of the lead. USA. What a round he is putting together. Still two par fives to play as well coming in. up at 15 with Scotty Sheffler. He has got to be awfully upset with himself right now. And now he’s got to calm down cuz he does have two parfs on the way in. And this is really looking good start to this par five here. That is not an easy driving hole. You got to take it because it’s a sharp dog leg right to left. You got to take it down the edge of those trees just like he did right there. Get up. Make the two up. I thought he was going to make that double up right away. He thought so, too. Here’s the reaction. He thought he made it. Yeah. [Applause] to get to 12 under par. He’s one of the best on tour, if not the best in that bounceback stat. A well played hole after that double bogey. But the left hole location, he should be okay. So you got a lot more fairway to work with here today. Oh, this is a dead pole, guys, into the oak trees left. He’s hit that shot. That’s the third time I’ve seen him hit that shot this week. Twice with a driver and now it’s a 3-wood. One’s got to play it out towards the middle of the green. Par’s a great scoreer from here. Boy, this is aggressive. My goodness. Oh, how good is that shot? How good is that? That’s ridiculous. Yeah, he had to turn that over what, 20 yards. What a three this would be. Unreal. A tricky tricky putt for read tricky speed putt. Oh boy. That looked good for a long time. Potentially roll it up there. I don’t think you can stop it up there if you fly it. Just a little shelf and it is tough to get it on top of there and keep it over it. Hold the hole, baby. Hold the hole. Oh, that is such a good shot. And he’s coming back. What a T- shot from Sheffller, who’s trying to battle his way, it looks like anyway, into that final group on Sunday, which would be a huge thing for not only Scotty, but presumably Ben Griffin. That’s not how they made the RDER Cup team. They are highly competitive. This guy wants to win this week. Never ever discount the competitiveness and the grind and grit of a player like Scotty Shuffler. He never just shows up. 297 to that bunker on the right. My mom is single. Oh, this starts on a fabulous line. [Applause] Oh yeah, right center. He gets a kick off the back side of that bunker for a little extra run out. This holds 581 yds. trying to work back to the right. This green, he just carried it. He got a nice break there. That nice. Kept it out of the primary cut. [Music] Good speed. Oh, just ran out there at the end. Good luck putt though. So if he makes that, he’ll be the first to post 14 under. Remember Tommy Fleetwood in Memphis saying with a smile on his face, a little bit easier to play tomorrow, meaning Sunday, with Justin Rose and not Scotty Sheffler. And then the following week at Caves Valley, Scotty got himself into that final group with Robert McIntyre and he ended up winning, says the world’s number one player, Scotty Sheffler for birdie at three. Missed a makeable putt about this length at the first hole, but right here at three. Tough putt to make and he pours it right in the middle at the par five fifth. It’s one of those holes that all the players feel like they have to take advantage of and Shepler does. Yeah, that got Scotty to within two shots of the lead. Good afternoon. 188 straight right to left. He’s got six iron so I think he’s going to try and hit a holdy cut maybe way up in the air. Try and stop this thing somewhere in the middle of the green. That’s what he did. Didn’t get it to cut quite as much as he’d like, but that’s a good solid shot. [Applause] And he just had enough energy to drop it in there. So Sheffller Kurt is now within one. Yeah. And he can keep putting some pressure on by playing great golf like he is because he has that big gallery. They’re going to hear the cheers behind him on that last pairing. [Applause] [Applause] just a lob wedge. Something like that. Look out. Got a chance. It rattled around and didn’t fall. I think it goes in if the flag step was out. Watch this. Let’s see if that never looked like it was going to miss. Wow. What a shot, Scotty to tap it in. And just like that, look who has a share of the lead on the final day on the final nine. back into the win today. This is up the right side right on the edge trying to turn over. He got a nice bounce though, so he may be able to reach that par. Five and two. [Applause] 250 total all the way to the hole. He’d take this anywhere in the dead center of the green. Three iron left though. Needs a soft bounce. Shouldn’t be too bad there. Should be fine. He didn’t like it. He was trying to hit some sort of cut shot and get it up just onto the middle of that green. Great leave straight up the hill. Big slope in this green, but he doesn’t have to deal with the break. It’s right up the hill. Another part of his game that’s just phenomenal. His short game and he’s packed with a share of the lead taking advantage of the par 512. Scotty moves right back to 18 under par after a bogey the previous hole. Hammering it right over the corner. Boy, this is a beautiful one if it carries. That is absolutely ideal. It’s exactly what he was trying to do. And he got some roll out. Get in the hole. [Music] That was Scotty Sheffield during playing through hitting his second at the par five and it trickled into that rough. Yeah, coming down the home stretch here. Scotty Sheffle leads by one. Third shot at the par five. Really tough to get this distance right back into the grain and then straight downhill the last 20 ft. Oh, this looks fantastic considering that lie and all of that green. That is really well done. Scotty began the day two back. He is now two ahead with three holes to play. Backto back really good strokes. [Music] Couldn’t save it. starting down the middle, cutting towards those bunkers and bounces into one of them. And it’s going to be a layup. He’s going to have to make birdie. And he’s done that. Left center of the fairway should be in good shape. Fighting something low. Good looking shot. Oh, rips it back a little bit too much though. [Music] So, the door is now open for Ben Griffin. Just a touch more speed and it goes right in. He had the read figured out. He’s launched it high in the air. It’s cutting at the right side. Wind’s moving it further right. Tell you what, that’s as good a second shot as we’ve seen. If it stays on the green, it’s a phenomenal shot. That was really, really well done. [Music] [Applause] You will have that four feet to work with here. Yeah, that’ll be a nervy birdie putt to force a playoff. And with that miss, Scotty Sheffler prevails. He is the winner of the Procore Championship. His sixth win this season on the PGA Tour. his 19th career victory. Disappointment from Ben Griffin who cannot two putt and force that playoff. Wow. Showed this video to a guy and now he wants to try everything we've seen. I'll have to get ready🔥
Very simple, Sheff has the club face still going straight at the target well after impact, better than any other player, with every club in the bag especially the putter
6:56 26’ putt, 10% make % for tour pros, gets it within a foot and a half, “really wasn’t a good effort”…
He is gonna have to buy a house just for all of his trophys.
the guy at 16:18 yelling "Scottie, my mom is single" absolutely finished me
Did he win a new Wi-Fi 7 router? Oh sorry, that's the trophy.
Hey Scottie come up to the Canadian open for once eh?!…
