Damn, having 18 kids get into golf all at the same time seems expensive.
Outrageous_Gap9873
Maybe a small local course in need of new rental clubs?
Ordinary_8058
Could be for a high school program or gym class sets to teach it.
FLEXR642
Could be for loaner sets at a course
ForsakenRacism

I choose to believe he’s buying them for a kids program or a Hugh school team that doesn’t have clubs.

Some high schools in a low income area will utilize grant funds or support from programs such as first tee or other organizations and purchase them
brownchickenbr0wnc0w
Ugh been waiting for the wedges. Probably restock next season.
whenyoda
Before tariff’s they were around $500, nor they’re around $600. Give it a couple more months they’ll be around $700.
Relevant_Donkey_4040
Training lessons might have been cheaper, no?
Academic-Leader047

Worried-Grass-5124
These sets any good though? Or better off with used clubs to build out a bag?
Fishy1911
I was thinking a local course just got next years rental clubs.
ThatOneRedditBro
Likely legit and not looking to flip.
HeuristicEnigma
My guess would be giveaways for a big tournament. I play a local scramble thats 200$ per person to enter and they give away some bad assed prizes like cameron putters, TM drivers, rounds of golf pro v1’s ete. You can buy extra tickets for like 20$ each or some shit too, plus the mulligans, amongst other things. 200$ x 4 x 18 teams is 14,400$ Albeit there is 10 grand in clubs on that guys cart.
Business_Spend5935
My favorite part is how even this guy, who set out to buy $7k worth of golf clubs, wasn’t able to resist the Costco urge to fill that cart up. Nobody walks out only with what they came for. Nobody.
Massive-Repair-5462
Rental clubs for a public course?
PermanentUsername101
I’d like to think that they run an inner city youth golf program for underprivileged children.
