The University of Hawai’i women’s golf continues its 2025-26 season with the Leadership & Golf Invitational, Monday, Sept. 15 and Tuesday, Sept. 16 at Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place, Wash.
 
The 16-team tournament, hosted by Seattle U. and Washington, will consists of 54 holes over two days. The links-style course, which plays at 6,093 yards and par 72, has hosted the 2015 U.S. Open, 2022 U.S. Women’s Amateur, and 2010 U.S. Amateur.
 
Along with UH and hosts Seattle U., and Washington, the rest of the field includes Cal Poly, Colorado, Eastern Michigan, Fresno State, Grand Canyon, Little Rock, Long Beach State, Oregon State, San Jose State, San Diego State, San Francisco, UC Davis, and ULM.
 
Competing for the Rainbow Wahine are Maline Kraus, Emiko Sverduk, Wendy Song, Chloe Ku, and Varnika S. Achanta. Ku, a freshman from San Ramon, Calif., will be making her UH debut. Kraus was the team’s top finisher at the season-opening Pan Pacific Super League two weeks ago in Japan, shooting even par 142 for a tie for 12th place.
 
Following the tournament, the Rainbow Wahine will next compete in the Ron Moore Intercollegaite, Oct. 3-5 in Highlands Ranch, Colo.
