feeling right now? Um, obviously bummed. I I knew what I needed to do. Um, really just made a a poor swing. I just need to give myself a little bit more time and and get fully committed to what I was trying to do. Um, eight iron into 14. I hung it out, left it out right. Um, you really don’t feel the breeze down there in the fairway. Um, and just got my start line out to the right too much and I had the ball below my feet. So, few variables. Um, so bummer on that one. Next hole I I thought I flagged an eight iron. Um, ends up, you know, air mill on the green. There wasn’t that much room behind the hole, but um, I thought I was going to put one in there and have a good look at birdie and walk away with doubles. So, um, kind of a kick in the you know what there. But, um, yeah, been a lot of good stuff. Been a fun run through the summer. um nice to have a chance and you know other than really the you know the one swing um to execute and play the way I did um it’s hard to look back on 15 and say I did you know a whole lot wrong hit one down the middle and thought I I flagged an iron shot. Um just went a long ways. Um yeah, tried to make a couple coming in, but um yeah, wish we were playing next week, but we’ll um head off and and get to recovery and get ready for next year. Did that pitch on 16 kind of skip on you a little more than you thought it might? Uh I was uh I was in the kind of tightly moan area. Um a lot of the greens within, you know, 10 or so yards, it changes into a really tight um cut. It’s almost like close to like chipping off of the green. Um I just caught it a groove low and so just kind of came out a little lower, a little hotter. Um just such a tight lie there and um trying to get it up and over the bunker proper, you know, flight and then spin it. Um so that was on me. I mis hit it. Um but you know afterwards come to find out I probably needed to get in at least 10. Um I thought if I you know eight nine maybe had a chance but um so yeah it’s a lot of good stuff but uh you know unfortunate just uh at the end not enough. You proud of the way you played and fought these last two weeks as you said also like through the summer as well. Yeah I started to feel better and better as the summer went on. Um you know played a lot you know was getting getting worn down but I was ready to keep on going. Um, started, like I said, feeling more and more comfortable as the weeks went on. And, um, felt great this week. Really didn’t, you know, make a whole lot or take advantage of of how I was hitting it. Um, you know, until I made a few yesterday to kind of get back and get things going. Um, so, yeah, is what it is, but take a lot of positives away from the last few months. You feel like your game’s a little bit rejuvenated now, you know, kind of later here in this year, kind of maybe moving towards the fall. You play a little bit? Yeah. No, I’m um I’m really happy with where things, you know, ended up going. Like I said, the last few months, um I’m not sure how much I’ll play through the fall. Um we’ll kind of reassess. I have, you know, some want to get the body into a better spot. So, um that’s kind of first priority and then go from there. Thanks, Ricky.

  1. Love you Rick. Said if you were in the top 30 I’d go and try a Lab putter. So thank you as it’s saved me a fortune!

  2. Hurting for ya! Played well, just a couple of things that really did damage. Great to watch him play. Continue the hard work and we will see you on the winner circle next year!

  3. Obviously bummed not to make it to Eastlake but T6, T7 in the two playoff events has to be a confidence booster for 2026. Golf will be better off in 2026 if Max and Rickie are on leaderboards regularly.

  4. I see the old Fowler coming back. Rock on Rickie, don't worry about what little nobody's out there say, you're out there doing it! Man, I would absolutely love to be able to play like you. Upwards and onwards matey.
