I was playing with my buddy once, in a league after work. Both totally sober. He was driving and for some reason had to return back to the previous home, perhaps he realized he left a club near the green. We’d driven to the tee shots.
So we told our opponents and went racing back and the next thing we knew we were flying, just like that cart, over a sand trap. Heavy landing, my bag came loose, drink bottles and spare balls flew everywhere.
Luckily no cart damage, I got out and raked the sand as best I could while hd carried on going back to get his club. Funny as heck moment, totally accidental.
Stupidity like this should be painful for the stupid ones, not innocent bystanders.

As a 36 year public golf course superintendent, this pisses me off. I get asked constantly why golf is so expensive, why the greens, tees, bunkers, carts aren’t perfect. This is 90% of the reason
