#NHL

Eric Paula holds 45 seconds left on the power
play. Paula from a sharp angle. Casey has all kinds of space. Toes time and scores. Wow. Jamus
Casey’s first career goal is a masterpiece. Bryce, I think he said it. Wow. That
that that is some composure, poise, and a great set of mits by the youngster
Casey. That little fake shot pulls it back inside and lets it rip to tie this game up on
the power play. Good job by Holla and Mason play a little catch. Holla finds Casey. Watch
this. Look at that little pull back. Get finds himself a little space and he rips it. That is
slick hands there. I saw that highlight a few times at Michigan Wolverines. There’s a little
different to do it here in game number two in   the NHL. Block protecting it with the boots. Paul
Murray. Threeon two developing here for the Oers. Nelson. He’ll gain the line. Nelson with Paul
Murray driving. It’s a trailer. Simplicov scores. Welcome to the NHL. Simplicov gives the
Islanders the late lead. Terrific shot by Ciplov, but an even better play by Brock Nelson as the
Islanders break out on a threeon two and Brock Nelson has the wherewithal to create time and
space to be able to make that play, Thomas. Yeah,   he did. Watch. He He just wades up the ice and
watch him here. No, I’m not in a rush. I’m buying time. I’m buying time. We can’t go offside.
Excellent job. And watch how quick this comes   off the stick of Sipllov. And that’s got to be
difficult for a goalender. You got a guy going down to block it. This does not miss Shawn
Dery. Not by much at all. A beautiful shot,   but I love the navigation through the the
neutral zone by Brock Nelson and the emotion on Ciplov when he came by this bench. Wow. And
the and the drive to the net by Paul Mary. So, everybody plays a part in that goal. Mlin
Celibbrini’s line on the ice for San Jose. Sudter stopped at the point by Sapi who’s looking
to accelerate and then blocked in the low slot. Shovel along for William Heckan. Here is Celebrini
pulling up, spinning, shoveling across. They score off an afflection in front. Celebrating
and Eklan combined and the Sharks have the lead. It’s Celebrating goal
and it’s his first in the NHL. You know, Mike, he just spins around and he’s
looking for excellent driving to the net. And I think it goes off the St. Louis Blues
defenseman in front. And watch this little spin here. He has his head up the whole way. He
knows Tofole is there. He knows Ekan’s there.   And there’s no question about it. It goes
off Matthew Kessle’s leg and into the back of the net. And Ekkan knew it. He celebrated
right away as we see the family of Celivini. And they’re loving it. The crowd is loving it.
And number 71 is getting it done here early. Hudson works his way up to center with it.
He’ll carry it in the Ottawa zone. Try to get the pass across. Having it broken
up and that scores his first NHL goal. Well, it’s not the way you draw it up, but if
you’re in the right places at the right time,   you get rewarded for it. Nice rush up the ice by
Hudson. He cuts across and when he gets into the zone, he’s drawn all the traffic towards him. He
goes to make a pass, but Hamick does a nice job, but Hudson blocks it. And when he gets in the way
of it, D’vorak is down low. He’s able to pick it up. You leave the front of the net wide open.
Clayven leaves the front of the net to go in   behind the net. The danger is out in front. And
that’s Heinman. and he made no mistake burying that past Lena Almark. Good rush up the ice.
Hudson gets another point. The power play strikes again for Montreal. Tied the game in the second
period. Mantha has given Calgary the lead here in the third. Lambbo double team but go strong in
there but didn’t clear. Ball a shot. rebound score and it’s Justin Kirkland with his first National
Hockey League goal. It’s a big goal for him in this line. They just kept bashing away. It looked
like full possession puck. Coulson wins a battle   on the wall, but he doesn’t chip it hard enough.
I think he was trying to elevate off the wall, get it up a little higher, but it goes right
to the point and it’s kept in. Good separation   right here. And he’s trying to put that high
off the glass. It doesn’t happen. And then a quick D to D onto the net. It’s big Kevin B from
Anderson and Kirkland on the doorstep. Gets there, wins the race and elevates the backhand for a
3-1 lead. That is a huge goal by the fourth line, the Flames as they go to work in the offensive
zone and score a gritty one after an extended battle. Here is Miles Ward. Tried to work his
way through Scott Mayfield. Could not do it,   but the ABS get it back. Manson just off the
bench. throws it down deep score. Kevin Richie his first career National Hockey League go.
His third career National Hockey League game. He came sliding for the back door feed. He
rams into a wide open net and 1 minute and 1 second in. The had a one- nothing lead. Dreams
coming true tonight here. Mo, what an incredible pass by Matson. And you know that Cal Richie
with those sweet hands is going to pop that in the wide open net, first National Hockey
League goal for the first rounder from 2023, 19 years of age. And there’s something he maybe
never he thought would have come true. And   tonight it has. What a throw for that young man.
Puts it on the tape of Drury. Drury behind the net. Markstrom keeps it going past the halfway
point of the third period. Or shot the score. deflected out in front and welcome to the
national. His first NHL goal, Jackson Blake, just soak all of this in. Get the puck deep.
Force the goalender to handle it. Seal the wall. Get it to the net quickly. And Blake, did
he ever hustle to even give himself a chance to tip this Orof offering? Demetri Orlock did a great
job, not dusting it off even a little. And look at those just I mean tight turn, get to the net
quickly. And you mentioned 39 at Vay Mitchkov, the 19-year-old, former seventh overall pick two
drafts ago. And you said it right off the top, he has star capabilities. The only reason Mechov went
seventh in that draft was because he’s from Russia and they didn’t know when he was going to come out
of Russia to play. They bought off wide and then Meechov trying to tuck it in. A whistle blown. No
signal yet. And Mechco thought he had his first NHL goal. Well, they’ll take a look at it. It’s a
sharp play right around the left post and Steuart Skinner’s going to jam his pad to the post. Mechov
thinks this is in immediately. He’s standing right over top of the puck. Skinner, of course, is right
on top of it himself. If the overhead might be our best view, but there’s a couple of things to
think of here. A, you’ve got to see the puck   over the line. The call on the ice is no goal,
but the play is going to be reviewed to see if the puck cross the goal line prior to B is that
if Mishkov’s stick pushes the pad into the net, it will be no goal as well. And again, the call on
the ice is no goal. And so they’re looking at it through Toronto. And is there anything that shows
you just that? Well, they’ll go through every camera angle they have and try and discern whether
the puck is over the line or not. It looks like it’s over the line. Here you can see the skate of
Skinner. It’s a pretty quick review. A heck of a lot quicker than the one in Tampa. We’re doing
the play at 1514. The puck completely crossed   the goal line. Therefore, we have a good goal.
Congratulations, Mveye Mitchkov. He celebrates and it’s his first goal in the National Hockey
League in his third career game. He knew it right away. So now the the Oilers are going to challenge
this play for goalie interference. So not so fast. Matt Veington is using their coach’s challenge
for goalender interference prior to the goal. So now this is all about whether Meechov’s stick
pushed the pad over the goal line. There was a challenge at the Tampa Vancouver game today and
it was much the same as this. They ruled no goal. So here’s the wrap by Meechov and it will be
whether Skinner was able to play his position as Mechov jammed at the puck. Looks like they got
the headsets off. And after reviewing the play, Edmonton will be assessed a bench monitor for
delay a game for an unsuccessful challenge.   Paul stand. This could have started any better
for Philadelphia. A final play goal for Meech. And now because the coach’s challenge failed,
another penalty for the Oilers. This one for delay a game. And the Flyers will throw that
power play group right back on. The early whistle by the ref. The suitor goal ten of a
second after the whistle after the horn blew at the end of the second. Navich fires in
looking for a goalie goal. Gustoson scores. Philip Gustoson mob. We’ve got the goalie goal. Wow. What a play by Gustiffson. He has been phenomenal
all night stopping pucks. Look how excited Mark Andre Flurry is and the whole team mobs him
for that one. Good job by him. You know,   he’s done a really good job of managing the clock,
playing the puck when he needs to uh play it, getting whistle when he needs to and he knows the
puck’s empty. Best part about that is the hype. Puck goes up and over everybody and tucks right
inside that post. It’s like winning the Stanley Cup in October when your goalie scores a goal.
I mean, the bench absolutely exploded. Never been in seen a goalie goal in person. So, it is
exciting to see that. I love seeing the excitement from the team because they just they know that
their goalies go to battle for him. And Gutsson   was no different than that tonight. And look at
the players all head off the bench now and mob the goalender as Philip Gustoson. Nobody happier
than the flower or Gustoson. And I remember that night. Some good video right there. Was there?
Yeah. That was pretty cool. He was a He’s a good   man. Bill Bear, excellent. Scores. Shot from the
point. Deflected in front of the net and they’re picking up the puck. So, Yuri Kulik getting
the congratulations from his teammates with his first NHL goal. His first NHL point and the
Sabres now trail by one at 3-2 Columbus. Now, this is big for this young man getting a chance
to play here. He’s a very highly touted offensive player and this is what he does. He’s just getting
in there. See, he’s just getting himself in that middle lane. He’s watching what’s going on. He
knows the man behind him, but he just reaches out.   What a deflection. That puck was going way wide
it looks like. Let’s just see. Way wide there. Reaches out, pulls it back in, able to get it in
past the goalender. Nice thing Benson instantly being a young player himself. Got to get that
puck for Yuri Koulig. remember that first goal. So congratulations to him. Big goal. The Wings get to
it with Ma. [ __ ] able to bat it out of midair. Hele behind the net. Ma cuts him off. Fellaino
closes up that alley. Ko for the Rangers. Back to the point. Mancini scores. And if it is Victor
Mancini, it’ll be the first NHL goal of his career in his hometown. 38 seconds after the Paneran
hattick and this is a five on five even strength goal and you take it all in. Victor Mancini
returning back home. The 22year-old in his fourth NHL game scores his first National Hockey League
goal. Cam Talbot’s night appears to be over. It’s a great CNI shot from Mancini, too, as well.
He doesn’t have to doesn’t try to hammer this. He   walks the line of it. He fires it right away.
No stick handle. It’s just a wrist shot that gets through. Great job from Mancini walking
that line a little bit, getting open on and   off the stick. Beats Cam Talbot on the blocker
side. That’s a special one for Mancini in his hometown. First NHL goal to try and rescend it.
You can’t ask for review in this case to try and have the call made. Here comes Jake Evans trying
to press his way through. He has got it back for Josh Anderson. Tipped and wide. Mayu scores. Logan
Mayu gets the shot and it’s into the back of the net for his first NHL goal. Oh, what a nice goal
it is at that too. Beautiful goal by Logan Millia and and a good effort by Evans to stay with the
puck. He’s going to carry it into the zone and   it’s kind of like going through some traffic
with it. He steals it here and he comes into the zone and he’s got traffic all over him.
He’s got bodies, blue sweaters everywhere and   he does a nice job of keeping it alive in the
corner. He tracks the puck down. Sometimes the first time you go to the net doesn’t work
and get on that loose puck and he does. He   searches out the high slot and and Logan does a
nice job of finding the hole in the ice that’s available. He’s a right-hand shot. He presents
himself well and right on the take by Evans taken by Middlestead. Back to McKinnon. It goes
to Ivan. Ivan scores. Career goal number one for Ivan. He comes a part of the top power play
unit. turns and fires to give the Avalanche a 4 nothing lead. And that’s one he will remember
for the rest of his life. He slides right into Ross Colton’s spot in the slot there cuz he got
a great shot and a great release. He grabs it   and just snaps it. Bottom corner. Now there’s
first National Hockey League goals. Imagine how he’ll be telling that the rest of his life. Yeah,
Nathan McKinnon just kind of threw it over to me   on the power play. It was no big deal. And I just
went far corner almost posting in. Look at that. Memories to live a lifetime. Congratulations,
Ivan Ivan. First career National Hockey League goal. Looked like the Islanders early on might
run away and high. But the Panthers have had   the push. Here’s Savage Skavage who came close
last time. All the way in the wrap around. There it is. Macky’s got the first of his NHL career
and he’s tied the game at three. We’ve talked almost every game since the start of the season.
And this young 21-year-old, he’s got the speed, the confidence when he gets that puck on his
stick. He’ll make the good decisions. And this one here, he takes the feed. And watch the
blazing speed. And he just goes wide. And then he sees that Barmoff is committed on that far
post. Okay, I’m going to try the wrap around. And it just works. Tucks it in before Balarmoff can
come back with that right pad against the post. The first round pick of the Panthers, University
of Michigan, the Connecticut native gets the first of his career here in New York. Lindred
and the Cavs now playing from behind. Their fiveame win streak on the line. Here’s Gi
scores. Conor Gi, his first goal in the NHL. The K’s got his first. Get that puck. What a moment for him. He’s got great hands. And
watch him get set up in the slot. The two usual suspects, Paggel and Celli on the puck getting
a turnover. Then Celli gives it to him right in the wheelhouse. And look at that delivery.
He knows where the net is. And look at him. He   has about jumped out of his skates. He could have
three or four goals already that season, but he’s got that first one. And now it is three nothing.
Scott mentioning Jeremy Lozone and his total last year. Dakota Joshua was on pace to be right up
there as well here. Strong with a shot. Rebound. for Steve B. He’ll grab that puck. Haynes has his first
in the NHL and the Conucks lead by a couple. Oh, what a great feeling for Beans. He’s going to
take the puck from Eric Brandstrom behind the net and Strong who’s back in the lineup races to the
net. The shot is stopped and Baines goes all the way to the net to punch it in. Look at the work
by Brandstrom. The third game he’s played here. He takes the bigger forward out of the play.
Man, Strong goes around Eric Carlson. That’s way too easy. Carlson’s got to get a body in
front of Strong. Strong makes the play. Oh, and now this is under review as Baines jams
this into the net. I think Pittsburgh just called timeout. Oh man, I was say don’t take it
away. Don’t take it away. A terrific feeling for our Steve Bs. Congratulations. Back to McKinnon.
Eight is deep. ABS can’t find the shot. 10 to go in the period. Touched up by the sense. No shot.
Score. The ABS have scored. Nathan McKinnon fishes it out because that is career goal number one
for Nikolai Kavaleno. You could feel it coming and feel it coming. And he finally gets it on
a point blank play and the ABS have the one- nothing lead. Well, fresh off a game where he
had two assists and look at the hands of Casey   Milstat. He loses that puck but not enough
to have the whistle blown. Watch right here. Kind of fumbles it. pulls it back and Kovaleeno
makes no mistake. Right up under the bar. Quick hands. Watch how fast this goes upstairs. Oh,
what a beautiful play and another first ever National Hockey League goal. Congratulations
Kovaleeno. Four goals already on the year. Here’s Bantilli defended by Bush. Back across.
It’s Put National Hockey League goal. Mleia, the reaction on the bench, the players, you
can just sense it. They are one happy group   for this kid. Well, Cylinger got the puck
for him. This is great. What a play. Just finished it nicely. Went where he’s supposed
to go without the puck in the offensive zone.   Look at Cylinger. Look at that pass. Look at that
pass. Look at the finish. It’s as good as it gets. Fantelli moves it beautifully across Cylinger
and Fantelli the assists on Puch’s first NHL goal. Congratulations. What a thrill. Awesome.
Look at the guys on the bench. Cole tried to be aggressive and pinch. Grouse came flying off the
bench. Unable to get in position in time. Out high Maverick Leooi scores. First in the National
Hockey League for the big defenseman Maverick. Well, look at the smile on that face.
That is a moment that Maverick Lamaroo will remember forever. And guys, what did
we just talk about? Catch and release. No hesitation, just put the puck on net. There’s
two Utah bodies there and Maverick Lamaroo has his first career goal. Waldman slides across, gets
it to Will Smith. The rookie trying to indirect it ahead towards Goodro. Comes back to Smith, lost it
at the line, and Brody gets it back for Chicago. No score here in the first period. Just over six   minutes played and Will Smith scores
his first National Hockey League goal. Good work along the boards by Cody Cece.
Fantastic help by Luke Cunning. And there it is, his first NHL goal. Will Smith, ladies and
gentlemen. In his ninth game, the 19-year-old puts the Sharks on the board here in the first
period and the fans are letting him hear it. They get opportunities and bang, face off at
center ice. Steel with a shot fought off by Babski. Then another one in on Babski. He’s down.
It’s deep and the Stars think the puck’s in the net. And it is signaled a goal. Maverick Bourke
was there. Blackwell was there. Sam Steel was there. And the puck somehow was there in the
Florida cage. Well, this thing has about four layers of grease on it as far as greasy goals
are concerned. The crew from back in Texas are enjoying this. The bump line is engaged.
The Panthers are in sense. Their coaches, unlike in in North America, they can’t look at
the floor. Their monitor is in behind them. So,   they all just turn around and they’re wondering
whether to challenge this for goalie interference or not. They got poked in there and I think just
the momentum of of Bob Ross, man. Sam Steel almost headbutted this thing in. They got it to the
net. They had they had Maverick Bourke with uh half a blade inside the crease on top
of Bobski. And you could see it work its way completely over the goal line and into the
net. And they’re holding everything here. There has been no challenge and there is a good goal.
And it is a three-shot hockey game. What a shot that is through the five of Bravki to just
find it. held in. Here’s Jack Thompson. A shot just over the net as he looks for goal
number one in his career. Smith needs the puck for Johnson. Thompson. Here’s Detland
for Smith. Penalty over. Thompson scores. Jack Thompson scores his first
National Hockey League goal. crowd excited and it was just as the power play
was ending. What a beautiful pass across and then Thompson with the finish. And
for the second straight game,   a goal in the first minute, Matthew Kessle, great pass in front. They score. Prunovich his
first NHL goal. And the Blues have tied the game. Oh, congratulations, Scott Perunovich. First
NHL goal. And what a beauty it was. This was a setup right from the faceoff. Watch this.
Kessle Perunovic goes right down. All Jordan Kyro floats up to the blue line there. Look at
this. Nobody takes Scott Perunovic. They float up to Jordan Kyro who had taken that spot on the
blue line. And Kessle with a beautiful pass. And then Scott Perunovich right here. Five hole for
his first first NHL goal. Man, what a goal. But what a setup on that faceoff play. And that’s a
great pass by Castle. Good finish by Prunovich. Popped loose. Makavoy. Zidorov again.
Oscar Beck got that stick in the lane. Possession back to Dallas. He’s going
to lead the game in takeaways. Blackwell   high slot looking for Beck poked. He
scored. Oscar Beck his first NHL goal. Man, the one-handed offensive swagger is in
both tonight. From good defense comes their attack. They’re able to turn it back against the
grain. They go downhill. Just a stab toward it. I don’t I don’t know what Slayman was seeing
on this. It goes through Zidorov and he just gets eaten up by it. That’s a nightmare for a net
minder. A great extra effort knifing goal for the rookie and he’ll remember that for the
rest of his life and Mayfield has the   puck for New York. A bit of a feeling out
process for both teams so far. It’s got to be a good feeling for Dakota to hear
that when he came over the boards. Yeah,   and his first poor check land the body.
Here’s Miller in the scores. His first. Pew sooner grabs the puck. Jonathan Lucker Makia
one-time off the left wing and the Canucks lead the Islanders one to nothing. Well, he made
that look easy. First shot of the hockey game. First goal of the hockey game. First NHL goal
for Jonathan Leer Mackey. And this is what he does best. Kach through the neutral zone with
some speed. Leer Macki’s already opening up to   the one-time. Just sweeps this right past the
blocker side of Carl Armoff. Top of the circle and the celebration not by him but for the team.
And the Conucks up one- nothing. Red Wings down by one. Look to take advantage of that. Cider had a
hustle over to keep it in. Played back here. Great   chance. Cer. He scores. His first national hockey
league goal for Marco Casper. It’s tied up 1-1. Oh, Casper was denied earlier on in this period,
but made no mistake on his second opportunity. The pass across. Just a great play by Comper. Finds him in the
slot area. He’s got time to get his head up. Time to pick his spot. Boy, that’s just perfect right
there. Heads up. Puts the puck exactly where he’s looking. Takes advantage of the time he has,
position he has, and just the perfectly played   shot. No chance for Gibson on it. Face off to the
right of John Gibson. He hasn’t been very busy. Detroit with just one shot on goal in the last
17 minutes. Here’s a pass ahead. Goi scores. There it is. The weight of the world falling off
his shoulders. And there’s the lead for Anaheim. Great moment for Cutter Goce. And boy, you know
what will this do for Cutter Goce? He’s had so many chances. There isn’t a player in the NHL
who’s had more shots on net without scoring a goal than Cutter Goce and he breaks through
tonight. Where does it go? Five hole middle of the net. And Drew Hellison with the headman
pass to him. Yeah, it you know what? That was a great pass by Hison. The key was he zipped that
pass. Excellent chance. Yosi with an excellent feed to the slot. That’s where you got to get the
puck. Here is Yosi. He’ll try it again. High slot interchanges and keep it now. Shoots it towards
the net. Knocked down in front. Rebound score. Zack Laroo. His first NHL goal. And the Predators
take the lead. What a big moment for Zack. Look at everybody. They’re getting the puck for Zack
Laroo. This is just awesome. This kid’s come up   and he’s been wearing his heart on his sleeve
every single game. Look at that smile. He just loves the game. and Michael McCarron. Look at
everybody giving him congratulations. This is one of the biggest moments in a player’s career.
There’s so many m moments over your career and this is one that you will never forget. You will
always remember this. And Yosi does a good job. He fades out and the puck just squirts over to Zack
Laroo and patience. Lankin is down and out. Yosi’s going to throw it to the net and watch Cole Smith
just shovel it to the side there. And Zack Laroo,   congratulations. first NHL goal. Now Ekman
Larson who’s paired with Morgan Riley tonight with the absence of pocket pop center pass
scores and Fraser in his first NHL goal. What a moment for the kid and the Leafs strike
first. Well, how about the smile on the face tells it all, doesn’t it? It’s fifth game of the
National Hockey League for Minton. And there’s the puck going to Bobby Hastings. But this is a
6second shift for Minton. And a great example of coming on the ice with a purpose. Homer makes the
play in the Dzone. And there’s your change coming from behind. It’s all William Knander making this
play. How about that pass? A backhand no look pass as Knander fights off Petrangelo. takes one
aggressive step to pass through and what a great feeling and a memory that he’ll remember forever.
Minton gets his opportunity and here early on in this first period hustling trying to get there.
Strual with it and Katana behind his own cage now turned it over. Michael looking to move. Michael
looking for goen backto back game for the first time scores. It’s his first in the NHL. Set up by
Barbers and Cal Burke burries it to make it two nothing Vegas. Well, some relief. Cal Burke has
been around it in all his games since being called up. He’s had great looks and this is a beautiful
passing play again off the turnover by Doc. Eel finds a little bump pass to Barbershv and
Burke is left all alone right between the hash marks and he makes no mistake. Not a bad first
goal set up by Eel and Barbashev. And then Burke right here rips it past the blocker side on Mont
for his first NHL goal and Vegas has a two nothing lead. What a moment. They grabbed the puck right
away for Cal Burke, the 27y old from Boxboro, Massachusetts. Kevin Ball up on the play. We see
it up close and his opposite number will jam break it out. Chance Stolets out in front. The trailer
Brady Kuck and the pass on the Table Stuts out of the corner dancing on Jonathan Hubo. Adam Gardet
with a goal tonight. Gets it back. Sends it all the way around for Jake Sanderson to the slot to
the corner. Reinhardt come up with it. He’ll send it back. Here’s Sanderson looking through traffic
off the goender. Wolf out of the corner. All the way back for Jake Sanderson. The slap pass. Rolls
around. They score. Paul Reinhardt out in front. He finds an opportunity with 643 left to go in   period 2. His first goal in
the National Hockey League. That’s got to feel good for Cole Reinhardt, but
it’s all Jake Sanderson here. Nice little fake   here. Look, he’s already got a play on net that’s
led to the go-ahehead goal for the Senators. And now he’s feeling it. And this play, it’s heads
up right across the seam here. Once you shoot a couple pucks, you got to bite and respect that
play in the shot lane. And as it’s broken down   in front, a broken play on Wolf, there’s nothing
you can do. But Sanderson, he’s mobile. He’s got his head up. And right now, he’s got his team with
a twogoal lead. And he broke his stick, too. You   know, you tell your first goal stories. How about
that? You walk off the ice without a stick cuz you don’t have one, but you don’t care. What a moment
for him. Congratulations to Cole Reinhardt. This is the second period, which the Flyers have had
their own struggles with. basically pick up where they left off in the first. A very solid period
for the two. Saw plays the puck this way. Scott Lton tipping it along for Paley. Back to Lton in
Fred Hathway. Jan say rebound Andre. He scores. Jame Andres first in the National Hockey
League. And it’s 3 nothing Philadelphia. I think he’s excited. What a celebration from
Andre. Was he fired up or was he fired up? Great start for the Flyers here in the second
period. Carrying the momentum from the first period, working the puck down low. Half the
way stopped on the initial shot. But Andre, who’s shown a knack for being on his toes,
and Reading went to jump into the play, is is doing just that. able to come downhill,
find the rebound, rips it past Samson off. A memorable goal for Andre. Makes it three
nothing for the Flyers. That’s just about   all has been missing for him here. He’s done
everything else. Been so impressive. Good for check pressure by the Rangers here. Carolina able
to break it back the other way. Ao waiting for a trailer or he set up Aaho whose shot was
blocked. Yeah, that was an excellent play. by Schneider and he makes another good play
on the block in front. Rangers go the other way. Brett Bard moves in. He scores. His first NHL
goal. A beauty by Brett Bard has tied it at two. What a shot. Congratulations. That means that he has worked so hard. You know,
Schneder, look at the play Schneider makes. He anticipates a pass. I mean, it should have been
a shot right down the slot. He breaks that play   up and then he’ll make one more. He’ll stay in
front of the net, block another one. Now they come down. Oddman rush and Brett Bard kind of
looks a little bit of a head fake. And you saw Martin kind of think he was going to pass it. So
he kind of goes to his left just a little bit. Then as soon as he did, up and over the shoulder.
What a great moment that with a big hug. Classic on it. He clears a bouncer. Kersev trying to
pull away. Smith bumps him. Kersev sticks with it. Spun around. Fans want a call. It doesn’t
come. Pass finds Marchman. Nice move to Shane. Fed over Shagg with a shot. He whipped it wide.
tried to go short side on Morazzic. Missed played back in front. That’s blocked by Krebier. Chance
for Sean. Loose puck scooped up and wheeling out is McKay. He’ll swing in wide. Penalty coming
up. Mave in front. They score. It’s Krebier. His first NHL goal. And the Hawks go up six to one.
And what a setup by Mav to make it happen. Wow. My question is what is Kier doing up in front of
the net? He’s scoring. He scored. You look at MV though. A little move to the outside gets around
Jumbo who’s had a he’s had a tough game. And a no look pass out to Trevier. And Trevier just shovels
this one in. His first goal in the NHL. Second game this season. Heads up play by MV. He’s got to
be excited. the big young fella, 23 years of age. He looked like he knew what he was doing
there. He did. Go to the net. Stick on the   ice. Nice set up. Ma Kier played 24 games last
season. Didn’t score. So that’s his first as a national hockey leager for the big 68 children 30
pounder. Boy, crowd here at the United Center are just loving what’s going on right now. Cece
up to center ice picked up by Wenberg moving in on Bernard Docker. Alexander Wenberg with San
Jose changing by some time and plays that back in Kach up for Stzla and Bank back to center ice.
CBrini moves around Kachchuck. Now Ruda slaps it back in but it’s picked off
by Shabbat. Banks it back around for Bernard Docker. Out to Soser Fatherson. That pass was
touched. So no icing on the play and Blackwood plays it away from Norris. The loose puck goes
to Giru. Bo Jeru plays it across to Clemens.   Blinds and shoots. Scores and Tyler Clemens
got his first National Hockey League goal. 3-1 Ottawa as Clemen gets his first in his 39th
game. Well, you can see how excited his teammates are and Clemen just blows it through the wickets
of McKenzie Blackwood. But this is a great play right off the floor. Puck gets thrown off the
wall, pinched off right there. And what a pass by Clo Drew to get it to Cleven. And this is a bit
of a screen by Bath as you see him pivot to grab that puck out of the net. But Bathson gets in the
eyes of Blackwood at the last second as he goes across and look at the reaction on the bench.
Well, you know what? A couple of weeks ago, Ottawa was having facing an empty net up two and
Cleven had a chance and his guys were all cheering for him. Yeah. And so you saw the reaction
tonight. So Tyler Cleven’s got his first.   What a big goal that is for Ottawa. up three to
one now inside five to go in the second. Here’s Wman. Nice move and then it’s poked away
by Alexia as Jake went between the legs. Pass intended for Tanzan all the way down and
Vanichek gets involved at the goal line as Ruda was trying to locate the puck. Now it’s back
down to the goalender Grubower for Seattle. Kartier takes a hit from Cardwell. Now back to Cartier and and a check quickly gets the blocker down at the post. Here’s
a break. Ethan Cardwell shoots. Score. Ethan Cardwell with his first National
Hockey League goal. And what a shot it was. Terrific job skating off the puck and hitting the
gas. And Ethan Carwell can shoot it. Surprises Philip Kubower. The key play here getting down
deep in the zone. That save, that stick check, and then quickly out of the zone. Terrific
job by Nico Stern getting over to the puck and Ethan Carwell pushing the pace, coming
across, not staying wide, coming across and pushing the pace and shooting the puck. And look
at this celebration and the joy. Way to go, kid. What a moment for young Ethan Cardwell as he
scores his first NHL goal. Sturm and Thrron pick up the assist and the Sharks have scored
seven for the second time this week. It’s 75. Big momentum boost for the Wild who trailed
two nothing yesterday and came rolling back   in the second. Chisum up the boards. Crow can’t
clear initially but it’s taken back by the Wild. Still 40 seconds to go. Here comes
Chisum again. Brennan a blast. Fun off   by Sorrows. But clear to the neutral zone.
Mareso able to hit Yos. Cross out. Yosi winding his way around. Avoids a couple
defenders. Now here comes Evangelista.   One-time score. Vorov his first NHL goal.
A beautiful pass and Nashville ties it. Well, congratulations to Federer Fetchoff. What
a rip that was. And you’re talking about finding seams and making plays. It’s taken a while
here in the first period. 20.4 left on the clock. And look at that pass. And Spetchkoff
down on one knee and absolutely rips it. Evangelista opens up and threads the needle
right to Speetchov and he blasts it. What a shot. Evangelista with a great pass cross
ice to complete the tic-tac-toe Yosi. See, that’s how Nashville is supposed to score a lot
of goals. The skill of Yosi to gain the zone. The skill by Evangelista and then the finish. How
often have we seen plays like that where just   something goes wrong at the last moment and they
don’t get a chance. Exactly what what Evangelista did so good. All his attention, his body language
is going toward the net and at the last second,   watch this. Everyone thinks he’s going to
attack the net here. And then he opens up and gets that right through. And what
a beautiful shot by Spetchkov. Wow. Gus Forsling going to play for team Sweden in
that tournament with Eric Carlson and possibly   some others here tonight. Deflects out the center.
Pollier trying to get a step on Forsling. Knocked off the puck. Followed up by Lazot. punches it
back to Pickering. Sheay will dish down low. Lazot moving away from Bowris. Back to Ryan Sheay
off the glass and deeper. Bouncing puck fielded by Adam Boquist. Lazot hunting that down. Drives
it up the wall to Pickering. Wrist shot. Scores. Oh, and Pickering’s got his first
in the National Hockey League. Let me take this one. Josh, welcome to the show, kid. Welcome to the big show.
Owen Pickering. Get it to the net. Good things happen. And how about the Penguins, man? Lazot
hungry on that puck. Wristed towards the cage. This puck does not go in, but Michael Bunting’s
not there. It’s a great screen. It finds a hole. It’s a seeing eye shot for Owen Pickering’s
first National Hockey League goal. Johnson gets it back. Byron Far Point tried to make a
move at the blue line. Couldn’t get the puck in deep. Machelli comes back and he is cut off at the
pass there by Bryson. Utah continue on here with a shot off the stick of Gunther. It comes to the
far point. Jack McBain walks it down the wall. Bryson trying to play it and it pops free. Off the right boards, slips it into the
Utah zone where Kerling playing in his hundth game today. Number seven for the
Utah Hockey Club. Back after it a roller down towards the net. Picked up in front
of the goal by Gilbert. Snaps a pass up   onto the wing and the Savers have three
on the attack with a shot tipped and they score. Yeah. And he’s got it. his first NHL
goal. And this one’s going to count for Kak. Oh, there’s a smile on his face coming back to
the bench and he scored one the other night. It got taken away from him and it had to hurt. But
nice job here. Look, he just buries his head, gets in between the two D. The puck comes
through and just the redirect. Nice job by   Malenstein just getting that puck past OA
there just behind his skate right to the stick and the redirection into the back of the
net. Tyson Kak with that first goal. Hopefully his parents were able to stay for this one.
Going to have to start calling Zack Benson the amazing Kreskin. He told us during the
interview pregame on the bench when I asked him about Kak’s first game in that moment he says
he’s getting one tonight meaningless afternoon. So two career shutouts for Eustace on an in
the Stars take it forward. Bishial with the race in race shot. He scores. Lean Bishell
in his NHL debut has his first NHL goal. Oh man, he heads to the bump line. They needed
that. Jakeer draws a forche, goes the other way. The Stars are off to the races. The weak
side defenseman is Bishell. He understands the assignment. I’m going to join the rush. The
big man can move and he stimulates and spins the biscuit. Short side to gun his first in the
National Hockey League. Might have clipped escape on its way in. He’s had an interesting night.
Stars on the attack on the save and the rebound as well. They almost double dipped seconds apart.
Lots to like and especially this this upward trend of their results on the road. They weren’t a great
road team last season. Here’s Carile scores. First NHL goal for Declan Carile. That’s the icing
on the cake for sure. And this is execution. Really good job. The Lightning attacking getting
it wide. They get the puck again in the offensive   zone. Defenseman coming late on the play on the
opposite side. He gets time and room. Nobody from Seattle sees him until the last minute up
the wall. Get it deep. Pursue it. Glen Denning. Nice little play. And look at Carile. That’s a
beautiful shot. Grubower comes out. He’s leaning a little bit to the short side and Carile puts
it right inside the far post. Congratulations. He’ll remember that one forever. He certainly
will. Called up from Syracuse. makes the long   trek out to the Pacific Northwest and gets
his first NHL goal. Halfway through the third, Teddy Luger sends one ahead off a Bruin
stick. Brandon Carlo goes back for the P. Mar check. JT Miller dishes off. They score. Max Sass has his first career goal as Miller   set him up at the side and he
gets the Canucks on the board. He’ll always remember it, man. You’ll
never forget it. A turnover here,   a rare one by the Bruins. Miller finds Sassin
and this thing squeaks through Jeremy Screaming. Congratulations to Max Sass. his first National
Hockey League gold. And while it’s 5-1, he and his family will never forget this. JT Miller
grabs the puck. Max Sassin assists in his first two career games in Ottawa. And then in Boston
against these Bruins, added a couple more assists the other night. Now has a goal to go with his
four helpers. And the Canucks are on the board. Well, some action around Samuel Montinbo.
Mark Shley behind the net. He wins a battle with Valardi. And when he throws this out front,
it’s Miller who steps right into it. Good. Nice   aggressive by Montbo. And then I follow with the
block. And when you turn your palm open like that, wow, that’s got to sting. That hit him right
in the middle of the palm. Knocked the glove   right off his hand. And Kupari at the other
end with another good chance for Winnipeg with another save. Lane Hudson scores.
Great Hudson gets his first NHL goal. The long awaited marker for the young defenseman
finds the back of the net in Winnipeg and the Canadians celebrate his NHL milestone.
What a smile on the face of Lane Hudson as he cruised by me to tap hands on the bench
to high five everybody. The whole bench just erupted. You can see Mat skate as hard to the
net to get that puck for him. This kid has   been wonderful for the Montreal Canadians.
He has stepped in and done a really great job playing a good 200t game for the Canadians.
And here he snaps this thing far side on Connor Halabuk. That’s just not anybody you’re beating.
That’s probably the best trophy winner. You snap it by him. Good play by Mat over 19 assists.
And now finally he fills the column with a one and I’m sure it’s going to keep growing. To the
point Jones another block that one from Janowski slingshots Novak in deep. Everybody
else changing. Novak absorbs the hit. Maraso comes into Forsber.
Marcoso wins the battle.   Grall a drive. There’s the net.
Got deflected. Willsby plays it behind the net. Marshallo wins another puck
battle. Feeds the slap. Stampos was cutting. Now Stampos again a burst of speed.
Schneider holds him off. Followed   up for Stamos in front. Maraso arriving.
Wilsby a great move. Wilsby shot. He scores. Oh, what a play he made. Adam Wilsby,   his first goal in the NHL and
it comes in spectacular fashion. What did we just see right there from the young?
That was almost a similar shot on the goal. He got called back for what we thought was his first.
Look at the move at the blue line as he completely addresses his player, lines up a shot and delivers
perfection right under the bar past Sturken for his first NHL goal. That counts. Adam Wilsby. What
a shot, young man. The 24y old from Stockholm. He looks like a keeper. He had a good camp with
not a lot of fanfare. You had to be listening closely to Barry Trot saying, “I think we got
something in this Willsby.” And of course, he’s had some long playoff runs with Milwaukee the
last couple of years. And here he is. Goal and an assist in the last three games. Masfield with
completed depth on D and he’s taking advantage. Brighton chips it in. The Hawks are on it. Brody
controls off the boards and out. Montour cuts it off, plays it into his own zone for Alexiak.
Five and a half left. Alexiak head up passed   to the middle of the ice at center. Played
across by Tolman. Blasted around by Borkstre finds Conor Bernard. Bank pass. Good play. Gonado
drops it off. Pino carries in down the left side. It’s Pino in deep. Protects the puck with a
one-handed pass and a shot by Murphy. Goes wide. Nolan Allen. Here’s Bernard turning. Plays
it back to the far point. Another shot by Murphy. That’s off traffic in front. One
more time for Conor Murphy. Settles it   down. Allen. Hot pass over to Donado. Oh,
in front. Allen. Scores. First in the NHL. 3-1 Hawks. saved that puck. I guess so. And he’s played
a heck of a game. And did the coach pull out a Jealmer reference? He did. After the skate.
Well, doesn’t this look an awful lot like the goal we just saw from Riker Evans and Seattle.
Dot to dot through a seam before Bjorkstrand can get to him. And Nolan Allen makes sure this is
going to end up in the net. Oh, just a beauty. Oh, and this should suck the life out of
Seattle right there because they were humming. Congratulations on your first National Hockey
League goal and he’s going to be a good one. He is showing it. His first of the National
Hockey League. Nikita Kudro. Here’s Littleberg and he fired it wide short side. Kudra drop
pass. Pervix down in the corner settling it is Ginsel. Back to Nick Pervix who’s got
one goal tonight. There’s a shot tip wide,   picked up by Cooerov. Back to the
line and it bounced past Nick Pervix. Calling for it is Coutrov. He’s dancing now.
He’s going to leave this one for Pervix. Back   across for point and it was too far behind
him and St. Louis gets it up through center. Kyru gets the pass back from Holloway in
the corner. Throws it across and missed everybody and now it’s picked up by Cutra.
Here come the Lightning again. Kro takes it wide. The lead for Gonzalez. His shot scores.
Gage. Gonz with his first goal in the NHL. I think this one may have even surprised Gage
Gonalves because he looks he takes the pass from Cooerov and decides what am I going to do? And
then he’s under pressure and then he just goes,   I’m going to shoot it. And did he ever sling
this one? Bennington just not ready for this kind of shot from this guy. He doesn’t even
know. He’s outside the faceoff circle and it is the perfect shot. This one he will remember
the rest of his life. It was a feeling. Am I going to give it back to Cooerov? And the the
tendency for a young guy to give it back to the star player is always there. But Gonalves makes
up his mind very quickly. And there is a little bit of a sly smile there as the puck is collected
and will be given back to him for a nice play. And that has chased Bennington from the game. He’s
given up three goals on 10 shots. Gonzalezeves with the goal. Bennington gets the hook and in
comes Joel Hoverer now for St. Louis with 627 to go in this second period. I can’t say that
you could really blame Bennington a lot on the three goals there. This might be as much about
momentum or whatever and try to get the team’s attention. Only Jim Montgomery knows right at the
moment. But tell you that was a heck of a shot. So Gage Gonzalez, the 23-year-old from Mission
BC getting the big ovation here tonight on home ice. What a moment. And you know what? The fact
that he got an assist from Nikita Cooerov that’ll stand out in his plaque at home, you know,
20 years from now because people will know   Cooerov’s name and it it makes a difference.
I brag about mine. I hardly scored any goals, but Glo said it on a debit. Really? That’s what
Yeah, that’s great. Exactly. So that’s why that’s right. It’s a makes the story a little bit better.
I’m not going to lie. Oh, I I went coast to coast, you know, from behind the net all the way. It’s
what I tell everybody. It’s not true, but Oh,   I can hear the announcement in the old forum, too,
with the assist to Gila Flood from that other guy. George handles it from the line. Pacio has
a beat on it. Mayfield across. Here’s Barcel now for Pacio in front. It was tipped
away from Anders Lee. What a great play   that would have been. Tremendous passing by
that that three. So we talk about having some chemistry and some hockey sense. That that was
well done and just couldn’t quite finish it off. Kyle Paul Mary comes up the boards for Brock
Nelson. Nelson charging around the net. Got by McCabe. His pass handled by Mayfield. Now George
Paul Mary’s in front of the goals. The shot comes behind. Duclair keeps it away from McCabe.
Couple of tired Leafs out there. They score. Isaiah George, his first NHL goal. Yeah, the
way they’re hugging him. I thought maybe Brock Nelson tipped it in front and he pointed
to right. Yeah, he did. He did. And there,   look at the smile on this guy getting his first
goal. Well, you knew was going to happen. He’s a guy that gets himself in position. And what
a cross ice pass that was to George. I mean, just a beautiful play. And Brock Nelson fights
hard along the boards. Going to get it back   to the point. And here’s the original shot.
didn’t quite make it. Okay, so the Islanders fight to get it back and now another cross ice
pass and this time this one finds its way in. What a big moment for him. Yes, Ontario born and
raised. Oakville not too far away from here. Oh, what a moment for him. Big goal for the
Islanders. Love to see it from Duclair,   too. There’s the impact getting away from
people and know what that does it go up Tanov in the end. Doesn’t matter. Yeah. No, it’s
no pitchers on the scorecard as they would say. And yeah, that I mean that that’s what Duclair
brings. He’s he’s got that speed and then that   turn that crossovers and the hockey sense and the
patience to make that pass and then George just does what he does. He he gets the puck on net,
trades himself an opportunity. So huge goal for   the Islanders. Long time coming for Isaiah George.
Yeah, maybe off of Tanf, but you see Kyle Paul Murray fishing that puck out of the net. That’s
going home with Isaiah George. Yeah, absolutely.   Might not leave the province though. No, it might
stay here. could stay here and it was great of Brock Nelson right away. You know, I didn’t touch
that and that’s your goal. Cabbrini third in rookie scoring in the NHL Mech of Philadelphia
leading with 27 points. Then it’s Lane Hudson, the young defenseman from Montreal with 26. Mlin
with 25 points. In 25 games, both those other two have played a significant higher number of
games than Celabbrini as the shot goes in. Shakir Muk Maduan scores his
first National Hockey League goal, winning the faceoff. And how do they win the
face off? Excellent work by Fabian Zenderman. It’s not just about the centerman. The shot just
goes to the corner. That’s good work by Zetman. Stick lift. He helps on the draw. Kicks it back.
Quick shot. No waste of time. Oh, it went off in a little deflection right there, but also Aiden
Hill misplays it. And there’s the shot. NHL. First NHL goal by Shakir Muk Madou. Way to go,
K. 22-year-old Russian Shakir Muk Madullan ties the game. A memorable moment for the big rookie
defenseman. His first NHL goal. Comes in his sixth game this season. The Sharks are level. Spence.
Now Anderson and ahead for Fogle to Spence. Check picked up by Fogle. Works it in behind the goal.
Jano is there with Biffield. They’re in a battle. Referee has seen enough of this
earlier about a minute ago. He says,   “Let’s go. Let’s go.” And they
do. And the Devils away with it. Jack Hughes down the left circle.
Ran into too many king sticks. And the puck down to the Devils line.
Jack Hughes to his brother Luke. Get the funny feeling it’s going to be one of
those games, Jim. Maybe the Yeah, first goal might be the last goal. Now ahead and here come
the K shot. Score. Andre Lee first NHL goal. One- nothing LA. What about first goals, Nick? You
were just talking about a different concept, but it worked here. It was just a clearing attempt
by the Kings and Lee skated onto it. But Daryl, the finish here, watch this loft play. Watch Lee
use his body. He’ll get Lee right there and then back against the flow. Perfect bar down. Wow. A
lot of first goals are not as pretty as this. And you talk about skill, execution, puck protection
on a play really not designed to great offense. And the Kings have a one- nothing lead. Yeah, just
a great finish there by Andre Lee. And soon as   that puck went in the net, we see Tanner Jano go
right to the official. He picked up the puck. Make sure they got his keepsake in his 19th NHL game.
Doming got it back quickly ahead. And now Carrick will drop it back. Tvaka Ninan backhand shovel.
Jimmy VC does the same for Sam Carrick. Last year got dealt from Anaheim to Edmonton and reached
the playoffs for the first time in his career. VC will lug it all the way back out to neutral ice.
Approaching two and a half to go in the second. Miller drags it away from Nazar.
Edstrom touched it on Kaiser. It slipped and Edstrom in pursuit against TJ Brody. Jab back to the line but not out by Nazar in
behind. Kaiser collects and he will move it along to TJ Brody and Chicago gets to the line
on the entry. It’s Nazar and now Kaiser scores. Artor from Wyatt Kaiser and
the Blackhawks get one back. First career goal for Wyatt Kaiser. Makes it
5-2 here in the second. It was almost an early breakaway right there for Nazar. It just wasn’t
taped to take as Schneider gets spread outside   of the dots. But as they try to recover, Kaiser
gets open. Mazar finds him. Uses a defenseman as a screen. Perfect shot right underneath the bar.
Zakan is uses a screen there. First career goal. What a shot from Kaiser. You got to go back quite
a ways. Almost two full years for Wyatt Kaiser from when he made his NHL debut. He’s played parts
of three seasons. You saw his 71st career game and a very talented young defenseman. Finally gets
that first career goal in the National Hockey League. Awesome. Two original six matchup. First
NHL goal against the Rangers. special moment he’ll never forget. What a shot as well. You know, for
the Blue Jackets, the second periods haven’t been their best. And same as the Kraken, they’re not
great in the second period. But the Blue Jackets now after that Delbaloo goal have had a lot of the
momentum here. And you know, Elvis with a couple key saves, but not a lot in the middle of the ice
as the Blue Jackets doing a great job defending. They’ve found their game now, and they understand
it’s on the fore. You saw that goal is scored. Get   it in deep, get it back and then work the skill.
Here they come again with Van Ree off the stick of Montour and Johnson got his stick free and he
locates Forenski. Orki to Matuck steps passes Luca Delvoo is there for Columbus. Nice over to Johnson
to Prov. Jackets are feeling it here. Looking confident in the offensive zone. Ivan Prov. A shot
attempt blocked by Tanip. Tanip couldn’t recover it. Van Reamikeke takes the check. Dishes it off
to Delu. Now the pass to Van Reamikeke setting up shot. Looking looking in front of score he’s
got his first in the NHL mat makes it 4-1. There’s his dad in the building. Proud father
watching this play. And it’s good hard work down low. But Ben Reike here takes the ice he’s
given. He just follows that puck and Tay Chuck the defenseman way out in this play. And as he
is, he’s got a narrow margin there to slide it in. And he does. What a moment for the young
man. His first National Hockey League goal in his eighth game. And right now Seattle’s
called a timeout cuz it’s all Blue Jackets and it’s hard work on the wall. It’s pucks
to space. And then how about the defenseman?   and Warinsky with that last one. And then
this one. This is how they play. They’re on their toes. Defenseman in. It’s a threat. You
can see the winger there trying to stay with.   That’s KO trying to stay with Denton Mate.
And that’s a goal he will remember forever. He’ll save that puck. Denton Matechuck, his first
in the NHL. A great job too by Kent Johnson in there in that shot. He’s tying up. Good defenseman
there right in front. And that was Montour’s goal is his first of the season and the first of
his NHL career. How about the two AHL Allstars, both with family members in attendance,
both with goals in the second period. Belloo and Mate 21 and McCracken. Yeah, you
don’t want to take them lightly, but again, not a high powered offensive team. So good on the
Jackets to pour it on here trying to keep this thing going. Simon Edmonson to center. Casper for
Larkin. Casper promoted to the top line tonight where he finished the game against Ottawa. That
shot deflected and just wide. Johansson won’t get   there in time to keep him. Boy, he’s got quick
feet. Johansson. See that turn around there? Back pending fourth for four forks gate back. Here
comes Casper. Looks back to Raymond. Finds Larkin. That one sailed on him. Casper again
mucking it up and he can do a lot of that. He is a determined player. Marco
Casper won’t give you an inch. Here’s Raymond in front. scores. Johansson
his first National Hockey League goal. Nice little snapshot. Lucas Raymond doing his thing. Dylan Larkin
may get a second assist. And a nice finish by Johansson. See Lens occupying the front of the
net with Chicago defensively and nobody there as Johansson pinches down low and snaps one home. The
crowd seeing on the big board as they graphically show the crowd Johansson’s first NHL goal. They’re
standing here at Little Caesar’s Arena for the rookie defenseman and his second National Hockey
League point in his 20th National Hockey League game. Albert Johansson made a really nice parry.
Well, here’s another great save and block and sequence of players getting in the way. Logan
Thompson gets some help from Jacob Chron on that one. And then a fortunate bounce out front where
Matt Matt Raw is Matt Roy is able to get it out. Jacob Chron, I think, does not get enough props
for what he does defensively. The strength that he uses in front of the net to block out players to
box them out in the corners. It’s been exceptional all season long. We focus on the offense, but I
really like the way he uses his strength in the corners, front of the net, the areas below the
hash marks. He’s definitely dominant, physically   dominant out there every game. Saw a quick cutaway
of Jan flexing that right arm. Franks behind the defense, fires, he scores. Ethan Frank’s first
in the NHL. And that’s what we’ve been waiting for for him to get loose, him to get open as
he pulls that up at the blue line. Very close to being offside, but he shows us the dexterity
in the legs to turn around. He does the pivot, the whatever you want to call it, the mohawk
turns. He goes in on that mini breakaway and just picks his shot moving in stride. It’s got
such a quick release coming off of his stick. Goes under the stick. So, as we’re going to watch
this here, you have to stretch pass up the wall.   They bite on it. This is awfully close. They’re
looking down. He comes in and just rifles it as quick as he can. Congratulations to Ethan Frank
on his first goal in the National Hockey League. He picked up his first NHL point last night.
and jubilant here with his first NHL goal. That puts Washington on top in Nashville. What
a quick release on that. He didn’t even move those hands. Bruins hammer it around. Did Key
get a piece of it? It won’t matter. It floats to the right corner. And then Liber got dropped
in the right corner on a solid check by Beecher. Back of the net acted around to the near side.
didn’t get all of it and the Bruins fluttered out to center ice. Beecher to Potra along the
near side. He got knocked down for Potra. This is his 15th game with the Bruins this season
and he set up the opening goal scored by Trent Frederick. Posternut sent it left to the net. Fire
and they score. Parker Walloon his first NHL goal. Wow. It comes against Vaselki. He wires it over
the blocker. Bruins two. Lightning nothing. The details, John. You got to love the details on
this play. The Bruins, they possess the puck in   the neutral zone. They go DD and Pavle Zaka comes
right off the bench and makes himself available in the middle of the ice. It allows Pasta to post
up at the offensive blue line. Now you got entry. Zaka takes people with him and then it opens
up that lateral pass. Great timing by Parker Wtherspoon and he’s able to catch, take a
little half stride, reset and rip it up over the blocker. Impressive. It’s clear by Carlson.
The net remains empty. Saw Lucin on the bench. Howard losing it on the play
was Krebs. Comes around. Joseph hammered by Laperty Crosby and Raquel.
The backhander is going to drift all the way back down to the Buffalo zone. Perfect
wave. I’d say a little English on it, but it was kind of Swedish as it slowed down. And
the Savers play it back down to the Penguin zone. Adulk is going to go for the empty net.
He’s got a chance. Alex Nelkovic scores. A moment frozen in time. Melkovic with the
goalie doll as he caps off a magical night here in Buffalo. A lot of Pence fans here, especially
down around the bench, just going absolutely nuts. Absolutely nuts. And people left this game.
I saw them getting out of here four to one. And then you missed that. And he took a hit
to make a play also. And when you get a soft backhand dump in around the boards like that,
I was going, “Oh boy, this could be it.” And he drained it. I was not in Tampa Bay for that. I was
in studio. I missed that goal. I was running from the top down to do the post game when Jarry nailed
that one. I’m here for it tonight. Amazing to see. What a game for Nadulkovich. Second Penguin
ever to score a goalie goal. And Alexovich. Unbelievable. What a night. Goal and
an assist. Two goals in his last two   years in the American League and now at
this NHL level. Amio plays that back in for a stop check. It was spilled there by
Hamilton who gives him another cross check. goes to a stop spins and shoot
scores. Saga stopchuck his first   National Hockey League goal and the
Saints have a one- nothing lead. It’s a seeing eye shot that gets
through the body of Jacob Marstrom and Otopchuk who’s been all around it just turns
and fires there. Now I’m a little concerned this hit the glove of a stop and went into a Mario
and then the puck gets back to him and he goes short side on Jacob Barkstrom. So in his 39th
career gamechuck has his first NHL goal. He’d been talking to coach Travis Green the last
few days about his ice time had declined. We   talked about it under 10 minutes in five straight
games trying to keep his place the lineup. Well, that’ll help. Unbelievable. And it’s not going
to be challenged. So, what a great feeling. He It’s He’s a big guy. He’s He’s fought
for his team. He’s done everything. Now, Boquist back out to Forsley. Walked
in front. Thomas comes away with the puck for the King. Good try there. He
tried to bank it to Thala. Try there by   Thomas. Knocks Kulikov to the ice. things
controlled and a save by Knight on Deno. Under 14 minutes remaining in
regulation. Backhanded along by Clark. Here’s Vinskus for Florida. The only goal
came on the power play from Rodriguez. He is on the ice for the Panthers. Number 17
blocked off the puck by No. Comes out to the point. Shot by Spence. Might looking
for it. Score. Knocked home by Helenius. His first NHL goal. Oh, congratulations Good hard work shift prior get to the
front of the net and then a little bit of a watch Trevor Lewis in front of the net. Oh,   that’s Tanner Jano. He kind of pitchforked
that puck and then Elennius is right there and he’s just got to put it in on the
back end. And look at that smile, Kenny. hardworking ship. Excellent effort there by Jano. And the game is tied up at one and his 25th
National Hockey League game. Samuel Helenius with his first career goal. He’s now one behind
his dad who scored two in 155 games in the NHL. On the puck by himself, lineates gone to
the bench. It’s pushed to the boards by TJ Brody. Now it’s worked free. Here’s Point
with a pass over Headman with a chance and a   blocker. Saved by Sabloom. Headedman gets it
back. Whips the puck all the way around up the near side. Radish pinching. He’s checked. Brody
plays it ahead and it’s jabbed out by Riel. He’s got Felo with him. Here’s Riel with a bit of
room to Felo. Cuts in trying to tuck it in. Played it back in front. Poked wide by Doc.
Couldn’t get a clean shot away. Kept alive. Carbier puts it back towards Colton. Knock to
the point out of Lassic. Hawks try to keep the   pressure on. Blastic walked across. Krebier Felo
trying to shake Gensel. Back to Luis Krevier with a play on the board. That bounced off FelinO.
Donado’s able to get to it though. And he’ll   turn along the wall. Try and work it in front of
the goal. Forced in deep. Pass in front. Pin in front. They score. Chipped in. And it’s the first
career goal for Colton Dock. Ties it up at one. Just great work down low. Starting from the D,
moving the puck and getting it down low. And boy, that look on Doc’s face is absolutely priceless.
This is what it’s all about. You know, getting recalled from the American Hockey League, now
scoring his first National Hockey League goal. And   what a celebration. Great work down low by Donado.
Felinino’s in front of that. He just missed on a jam play. And it looked to me like Gensel had a
chance maybe to knock it out. Maybe not expecting Doc to be so close to him. And as Gensel was
moving it one way, Doc came in with some force   the other way and pushed it right past the goalie
stick side. What a big goal late in the period. Colton Docks first. We’re all even late stages
opening frame. And that’s offside at the Chicago Blue Line. One more look at the first career goal
for number 28. Well, he he’s in behind in the top of the circles at this point here. Felinos does
a good job in front of the net. And and Doc, it’s almost like it’s not inexplicable, but I
think he may have thought the pass from from   Donado was going to come to him in the high slot,
but his job is also, don’t forget, being the third man high in the Ozone. But he dug in right there.
He dove in and it was the right play to make. Besser moving in after the puck. Fred sent
it the other way. Heen though working to keep   it in. Smith able to move it outside the line
to center. Siz pass picked off. Here’s Heinen after the puck. Puts it to the front. Carlson
couldn’t get a shot away. Cleared to the line.   Kept in by Meyers. Now Hughes to Patterson
makes a move around. Sizz back to the right point. Tyler Meyers feeds it to Hughes.
Quinn Hughes works his way down the near boards now looks back the other way. Hughes
to the middle for Carlson. Hughes gets the puck again. It deflects to Elias Patterson.
Patterson back to Hughes with room. Quinn Hughes to the side. Meyers. Tyler Myers with
shot. Score. Lenus Carlson has his first. He put it home from the crease and the Canucks
have the lead on the first for Lenus Carlson. A Carlson tap in. An extended shift in the
offensive zone by the Canucks. Pred line is tired and Myers is going to sink down, receive
a pass and just survey the situation. Carlson’s going to pop into the screen. Boom. Right there.
Little redirect past Soros. He was not picked up. Lenus Carlson and he’s able to celebrate his first
ever NHL goal on the road here in Nashville. 2-1 Vancouver. 10th career game. This is his sixth
this season. And it’s his first point as well as his first goal in the National Hockey League. 128
into the second period to restore the Vancouver lead. He did have a couple of scoring chances
in that first period. A couple of shots and makes his first shot here in the second
period. His first ever NHL goal. Dlo off the Jets faceoff win. This will be Gustin. He
got it from Ford and it goes. Ford looking to track it. David Gustin snaps it looking for
I follow who got a piece. Logan Stanley to the corner. Stanley centers it. Good pass.
Ford with a chance and he shoots and scores. Parker Ford in his first NHL
game has his first NHL goal. And you can’t beat that. Look at that.
Dreams do come true. Parker Ford back in his hometown. First ever National Hockey
League game. And he is a workhorse. Does a nice job getting to the interior.
I posting up acts as a decoy. Logan Logan Stanley shot attempt and there
it is picking up the scraps. Parker fort for tough first ever game. His first ever
National Hockey League goal grab the puck hit and the reactions Kevin from his family
and from his teammates. Rebecca John M   and dad sister Olivia lots to be proud of.
Wow. Said he didn’t sleep last night. He might not sleep tonight either after that
one. Olstrom protects the puck hoping for   the cavalry to arrive and off the bench
it comes in the form of Mlan Romanov. Couldn’t keep it on side. Ciplov tracks it
down. A step for Mlan heads court the net. Centering pass. Score. Save the puck. Mark
get scores his first goal in the National Hockey League. He’s got a lifetime souvenir
and the Islanders have a two nothing lead. Gekome just drives the net,
drives the back door here.   He comes from the far side. It’s Mlan
sees him coming. It’s a quick twoon. Skakome gets his first National Hockey League
goal. Good pass from pass from Mlan. Good job from Gapcom as well raising it above Fedoto’s
club. Two nothing Islanders. And hopefully they went back and got the souvenir for the Yukon
youngster as he scores his first ever goal in the NHL. Beautifully set up by Mlan. The fourth
line. I think the goal would have stand would have stood because you wouldn’t have had it the
other way definitive that it didn’t cross the   goal line and that’s just the nature of the way
the rule is drawn up. Do you think they’ll ever get to the point that technologically they can
get that done? Elon Musk is working on that. There’s the shot by Gra. He scores. Colin Gra
scores his first National Hockey League goal. Let the crowd roar. Let the crowd roar on the
kid’s first goal. Terrific job by Colin Graph jumping over. It’s a two-on-one and he fires it
all the way. Beats Sam Monttobo glove. There’s not much more to that than a kid just jumping on
the puck in the neutral zone of being aggressive taking it to the net. Playing in his 18th NHL
game. The native of Lincoln, Mass. Colin Gra scores his first NHL goal to Travis Sani moving
up, but he is pickpocketed there by Nick D Simone, the defenseman acquired at Wavers from New Jersey
just about a month ago. The puck fought for one by Ables. A shot. They score. Delore was in
front. Ables takes the shot and the Flyers are on the board early and it could be the first
in the National Hockey League for Rodrigo Ables. He has been getting his chances. B, he
cashes one in here. Yeah, you like Obles.   How do you like them Obles? I know I said it
a few games ago, but now it’s appropriate, JJ. Great stuff here by the Flyers fourth
line. I mean, just getting the work in, winning a puck, and watch how Deloreier is
in that front and taking the eyes away. So important. Flyers do a good job of creating
the turnover. That’s Gohea who’s on his toes.   Wins two pucks which allows Obles to retrieve
it. Recognizing he has traffic in front. He just simply gets it to the net. Nothing fancy.
And that one goes underneath Velca to give the   Flyers a one- nothing lead. So Able’s first NHL
goal. Goce should get his first NHL goal with an assist. Nick Deloreier might not get it to
the point, but he certainly is responsible for   the goal as anybody with the screen in front and
he got a stick up on Valeno. Back to the point. Headedman. It’s over to Pervix’s wrist shot.
Save the rebound. Loose tip. Score. Save the puck. Dylan Duke makes his NHL debut. Gets the
rebound and puts it behind Talbot right down the road from Michigan where he played his college
hockey. Quick to do the fly by. Dylan Duke. Taking a look at his family. We knew he’d
have mom, dad, some grandparents, brother,   sister in attendance. And this is a good for
check. You watch. And this is their fourth line. Glenn Denning. You’ve got Mitchell Chaffy. Puck
goes from low to high. Goes to the front of the   net. And then it’s Dylan Duke crashing in. And he
actually gets the second look at this rebound that comes off of Cam Talbet. And he just keeps his
stick on the ice. Kids, you know what? Go to the front of the net. Keep your stick on the ice. Good
things happen. How about that thrill to score in Detroit when you played college hockey at Michigan
in your first ever NHL game. Your family’s on hand and your brother is going to play Michigan
State later on tonight on this ring. I mean,   I just got chills. What a what it’s what it’s
all about. That’s the stuff that is that’s the stuff dreams are made of. Bob Steve goes after
it looking for his first National Hockey League goal. Played 11 games over a few seasons. Stolen
here. It is the stage and his first in the NHL. How about that? John Tvaris was looking
for him. Wow. How about the timing of that,   Chris? You know, he was the only guy left
over from the shift before cuz he went in on the forefront. He does a great job. His
initial reaction, you could see how far he   was out into the slot cuz he was going to go
to the bench, but credit him. He took a quick little look. Wh stop turn and there’s a goal
scores goal. You mentioned his prowess in the American League. There’s the puck. Homeberg
gets it. That’ll be a great memory to have. And you said about the depth scoring for the
Leafs. It’s really been an issue here in the first 55 games. He gets his opportunity and man,
he doesn’t waste any time on his first shift. Oh, what a moment for Steves, who has red hot the
last two games for the Marlies. Had five points, including a three-point game with Craig Barupy
in the building. They got Wandell up in the head. Moist in front. Sort of. He scores. First
NHL goal. Justin Sord makes it two nothing. grab the puck. Oh yeah, look at the excitement
on that 22year-old’s face. First game of the Florida Panthers this year. His first career
goal in his fourth NHL game. And look at his teammate so excited for him over that blue
line with a beautiful move. And then just a little give and go to Boquist. Watch sort
of make this move at the blue line. Round one defender. Little give and go. Goes to the
open space and then just puts it top cheese. He is having a terrific game. Bounces off the
boards to Murphy. Ryan Donado. Cuts off the wall. Here’s Delmro. Scores. Ethan Delmro gets his first
NHL goal. It makes it a twogoal game in Vegas. A what a great moment for the twotime gold medal
winner when the World Junior Canadian team put some heavy work down low. You saw Murphy was in
there on the hunt. He got some support. Bard fell   back to cover his spot. And then the pass right
over to Damastro on a beautiful backhand saucer feed there from Ryan Donado. Just a beautiful
pass. And the left-handers got some space right there to fire this in because he didn’t stay
back on the blue line. He read the play. He   closed it up and he got closer to the net and give
Donado some credit. I mean there I was, you know, critical of the Doria goal in the first period.
One man beating two. Well, that’s exactly what Donado just did against the Vegas Golden Knights.
One guy on the boards, beats two, and makes   a beautiful pass. Save that puck for Delastro
who gets his first NHL goal. This is 11th game. O’Reilly out top. Delgado closes in. Give it
score. Mark Delgo his first goal in the NHL. And it comes right up the road from his hometown. Oh,
what a moment for Mark Delgazo as came up earlier in the season. Played some really good hockey.
Hit a little bit of a rough patch. Got sent back   down to the Milwaukee Admirals. Went down with the
right attitude. Scored five and seven games before the recall. Played a really good game against
Winnipeg. And right here starts it up top. And Colton Sison with a beautiful pass. He starts this
whole thing up. Delgazo does. assistance pulls it to the backand as Delgazo continues toward the
net. One touches it past Sroken. Congratulations, Mark Delgazo. So Delgo, as you mentioned, had
the hot hand for Milwaukee. Got the call up and he’s picked up where he left off. Played
up the wall. Here’s Stamco. 25 to go. Shay Stamco downhill. Shot kick back. Rebounds
there. The chance doesn’t go for Novak. Oh, the puck cleared out of the zone. Look
out here. That’s in the net. Bullseye. Well, who’s got credit for this one is
my question. Is he that number 30? Did he just score? To celebrate with him. Who
is the last Islander to touch this puck? Sroen there with the blocker save. Uh-oh.
Yeah, he might get it. He was the last guy. He makes the save. Look at Romanov just
hanging out in front of the net right there. Seventh goal of the afternoon for the New York
Islanders. Ilas Sroen is grinning. A save on a shot from the right side. Went off of his
blocker and then Stamco trying to feed it to the point. It went all the way down. There’s the
puck. And that believe is going to be a goalie goal here today for Ilas Sroen. Well, it’s
much like Billy Smith got his first goal. Oh, the Islanders nearly got another one as that
one leaked behind Sorrows. What a finish to   the afternoon. Billy Smith is the only other
Islanders goender to score a goal and Ilia Sroken ends up winning this game in net and sealing
it with the empty net himself. What a day. on the far side. Stanco’s in his own zone
defending for Nashville. He has one of the two goals. Talked about there’s a shot and a
goal and his first NHL goal for Patrick Giles. Good work on the forjack. And this line has
been really strong. Gruntstrom good road down low working. And then Patrick Giles gets in
front. It doesn’t stay on a stick a long time, but the work on the for check. It’s physical
and it’s a quick shot to the net. Patrick Giles gets his first NHL goal. It’s a big one for the
Sharks. They turn it to a two nothing to a 2-1. And it’s hard work that gets it done.
25year-old Patrick Giles traded to the Sharks from Florida last week. Mour
does a good job to trap it in front.   They score. Yanni Newman has his first
goal in the National Hockey League. Love the way he reads the play. Great entry from
Everly. Another play along the wall. Watch how he dives in on and off the stick past Dobish. Take
a look at the parents and their celebration as well. What a moment. Great instincts from Yanni
Newman to find himself right out in front to receive that feed from Everly and all smiles from
Yanni, his family, and the Kraken Kerzy and Moan. Congratulations. Wow. Okay, that’s great stuff.
That’s on a player who’s got 22 goals this year. Now Carolina works it in. Staying co. He’ll take a
low drive. with a save. Pitch back and the score. His first NHL goal. Scott Morrow. He’ll remember   it forever. And the Canes
take a five nothing lead. He’s earned every bit of it like Robinson did.
The empty net are the deserving recipient.   doesn’t happen if coached doesn’t make a great
save without his stick on Kknney right up snug against that post on the blocker side and then
Hall does a good job buying time on the entry to get it to Stan Kovven and allow Morrow
to drive the far post and Mororrow against Winnipeg Tampa last night against Detroit a couple
of assists he’s earned this first NHL goal because he has truly grabbed the bull by the horns in his
opportunity in less than a week. Congratulations, Scotty. What a bright future he has. And in
a limited sample size, it’s not a stretch to say it might be the present. Now, 11 straight
seasons every year in the National Hockey League, 10 or more goals for Hayes. Toy Chonach snap
shot, deflection, they score. Dona Copen tips it on its way to the net. And for Copen, it’s
his first goal in the National Hockey League. Well, congratulations. The kid’s been hopping
since he stepped on ice here tonight. And it all starts getting in there on the for check.
That’s what we talk about. Booama gets this puck   back out to Chris Latang. And then how about let’s
battle for some positioning in front of the net. Julia Chonok head up the whole way this morning. Copenan was working on those
deflections right there and it pays off in a big way. When you see that puck go to the point, you
got to fight. You got to earn your way to the net. He does for his first National Hockey League goal.
Saw the puck there with head athletic trainer Kevin Elliot. That’ll go on the mantle with the
cocon. Almost two on the same penalty kill for New York. There’s a shot and they score and it’s the
first National Hockey League goal for Cam Land. There you go. Congratulations, Cam Lung. Continues
to work. A nice play by Colin Graph. Cam follows it up right there. Colin stays with it. Quick
shot on the stick. Off the stick and it beats Jonathan Quick. Negates the shut out. Monolan
pretty happy about that. That’s his mom Shannon. His dad Eric’s here. His brother Eric Jr. His
grandparents are here. And in his second NHL game, 20-year-old Cam Lond has them cheering
in some watering hole in Bridgewwater, Massachusetts tonight as he gets his first
NHL goal. Hey, I know it’s in a 6-1 loss, but it’s against the New York Rangers, and it’s
only your second game in the NHL. Way to go,   Cam. All over the place, just finding holes,
finding seams on the weak side, and that’s where he is right now. 30 seconds to go as Carlson
shot goes wide. Poison into it down low. McGuard scores. Rocker McGra’s first in the NHL is as
clutch as they come. Ties the game late the third. Oh, do I ever love this. You have been on
that side of the ice. I was saying he’s on that weak side. He’s doing everything he can
to try to anticipate the play and that weak side’s going to serve him well cuz he’s going
to feel this puck and his cuts the scene. Makes a beautiful feed and just the instincts right
away. Don’t look. Don’t defer. You’re on this stage. You’re you’re playing with these
guys. Don’t defer to him. McGry does it.   Takes it strong and buries it. Love that
play right there by the two young fellas. And further to your point, Robert, Bill Avenan’s
first NHL point on that majority goal. I mean, you love seeing these two guys out there
in that moment, but you’d love it even more   when they factor in on a game tie goal against
the hottest team in the league. Hawks get the draw. Stolen by Leonard. Ryan Leonard in alone.
Leonard’s first in the NHL. Makes it by three. That’s my boy. That’s my boy. With mom and dad
in the stands. John and Cindy and family. All smiles for Ryan. He’ll remember that goal
forever. number one that it’s his first, but number two that Ovian Kretzkyer in the house.
How great is that for the 20-year-old coming out of Boston College wheeling around books and
classes last week and now he’s in the NHL scoring his first goal. What speed coming up the ice and
there it is, his first goal. He has gotten better and better from his first game to his second
game and now his third game is a dandy he scored here tonight. Now this gets really interesting.
The goalie gets put back in there. Ovetkin’s on   the ice five on five. Does coach Sorenson lift
Knight again as Wilson sends it in? 125 remain. Back up for Gossip. Work it around.
Mororrow with a chance. Robin, he scores. Justin Robin, his first NHL goal.
The Canes break the shut out. And for Robin, he’ll keep that one
forever. You know, it just made it 51, but everybody up on the bench. Heck of a DDD
pass from Gostas Bear tomorrow on the right side. You get the puck to the net quickly.
What a quick release out net front from Stan Kovven and whether it be on his first NHL assist
last night. He knocks it out of midair too. He got it to the net quickly on his assist last
night. Robinson’s goal after that beautiful   DDD action at the offensive blue line. San
Kovven in front hand eye knocks it out of midair and whips it at the net. No hesitation
like last night and loved that the whole bench and just makes it 51 but everybody’s up on
the bench for Justin Robot. Here comes Leas Carlson for the Cox gains the blue line
now puts one in front. Patterson scores. First career goal for Elias Patterson.   over to get the puck as lean as Carlson
as the Canucks draw even with Anaheim. What a wonderful moment for Elias
Patterson has played so strong this season and Carlson cuts to the front of
the ice gets into the zone and then he knows he’s got a trailer and this is swept
right off the stick and above the glove. So, Junior ties the score. A
moment he’ll never forget. 1-1. On the heels of mentioning that one
Patterson was looking for his first   as a defenseman Patterson who gets his first in
the NHL. Zelin flies it back down to Stutzler. Zelin’s looking for his first
goal as an Ottawa senator. Jeru   goes up towards he scor and the
first NHL goal for Nicholas Medo and a big smile. We mentioned his first National
Hockey League goal. Matt Powell’s played really well since coming in for Travis Hamick and
settled in on the back end. And this is just a great cycle. Tim Stutzla pulls off the defender
Jack Johnson. Now Zetterland a little handoff down to the front of the net. Matt Paulo activates off
of the point. He’s wide open. So what happens? It goes off of his gate, sticks with it. He’s
able to jam it in the net as Cole Cylinder is late on the play and Matt Paulo gets his first
National Hockey League goal in his 41st game. So, Men Paulo, little smile there. Got to be a relief for him. Navigates to
the dock. Send it across up top. Callahan shoots. He scores. His first National Hockey
League goal. And it’s a beauty. Mike Callahan from long range finds the back of the net.
Jacob Marstrom. Bruins two. Devils nothing. This is like Carolina at home. A goal late
in the first to extend a one- nothing lead. And you got to love it. The last two shifts
have been terrific. The middle stat line had   great offensive zone time. And then the top
line comes out. There’s a nice scene pass right there by Panak. He tried to find Lynholm
back door earlier on this shift. That time he’s   able to find Callahan who goes right back to his
partner. Good puck movement. They use the width of the offensive zone. There’s a little bit of
a moving screen going on through the slot area. Callahan had one goal in 43 games with
Providence and he will never forget that tally here in Newark. N man rushed back
the other way. Nes goes wide. Nas drop pass. Taps in front. Score. Parker
Kelly and the abs are on the board. How about a met you know joining the
rush creating this play and again it’s a turnover by the ducks out of the zone
and a met leads the charge and you just watch the drive to the outside nice little
shot on net and I don’t know if Parker Kelly touches it the way he celebrates with
a net it’s Almost as if he’s saying,   “Hey, that’s your goal, bud.” And it
does. It goes off the foot of Mchukov. I think that will be Wyatt Att’s first NHL goal
in his second NHL game. That’s awesome. 27year-old rookie who made his NHL debut yesterday
in LA. Snapshot by Middlestead there with stick on puck right in front of you. Some of
these guys are so good at that. So hard with Point blank chance. They score.
Fabian Lysel. His first NHL goal. The former first round pick for
the Boston Bruins. Save that puck. Well, Alex, what a special moment. And you could
see it with the smile on his face afterwards and the delay. And Lysel just making sure he’s
presenting himself. He ends up being wide open there on the far side. Connects with it and
a nice hard shot and gets through Jarry for the first of his NHL career. Yeah, amazing moment.
He’s he’s looked good here in today’s game. Quick. You can see his skill level and something
he’ll never forget that goal right there. And a lot of times you’ll hear say guys
say that well plus minus that goes into   it and that is true but a number that
big that’s a pretty solid indicator. And another goal from the point and that is
the first career goal for Emil Littleberg. Emil’s got a really good shot. He’s hammered the
puck at the net on many occasions this year and really hasn’t had much luck. There’s some crossing
patterns here and Rhymer never really moves on it. He never picked it up on the point. Just a good
hard simple shot. You get it through. It’s a one-timer. I don’t think that was deflected, but
Rhymer never got a good beat on it and beats him. Had some action on it. Perhaps it dove on him
a little bit. And Male Lillberg happy with his first goal. And the onslaught continues here in
this second period. And that is the fourth goal by the Lightning. And Lillard gets congratulations
over on the bench there. 52 Tampa Bay. Well, you know who’s out with the digits on his back of
93. Goes after it now. He’s in. He scores. Oh my. wearing the numbers of the last time the
Montreal Canadians or any Canadian team won the Stanley Cup. 93. He’s got an assist and
his first National Hockey League goal. Well, the high anticipation of this player playing for
the Montreal Canadians has come to life. And boy,   what a dream scenario. All eyes are on him
every second here since he walked into the building. And right there, what a bounce. But
the finish on that play to stop, make the move, and put it in. And now this place, I think the
roof is ready to be blown off. I don’t know what he can do for an encore. Nothing left. It’s only
the first period. wants to curl up. Hughes was on top of him. Glalco had it chopped away. Glalco
shoots. Ellen the save. Fernac shoots. He scores. His first National Hockey League goal. He
goes top shelf over the glove. Devils four, Bruins three. What a thrill. And it’s a beauty. Just zero in on his play below the circle
around the hash close to the goal line. Retrieve a loose puck. Get into a shooting
position. Lalco pucks to the net. Creates the rebound. Get to it first. Don’t have much.
You don’t have much from the angle. Allen’s down. He’s trying to slide out. Get outside
the paint. Take away as much debt as he can. What a shot. Short side top shelf. Arona with a
beautiful finish over the left shoulder. First NHL tuck in the garden. He had nine with
Providence in 57 games this season. And he’s a New Jersey native. He said the other
day, “I still got to get a full head count.” how many family and friends are going to
be here at TD Garden, but they were all   on alert that this was a possibility.
Now Fowler comes in. Here’s Thomas in front. Push Davis back door. Stug there and he
scores. Stug a power play goal. Three nothing. Well, John, teach me how to Snuggy. NHL
first goal for Jimmy Snugarude. He earned it, too. Right down in the blue paint. What a moment
for the young man. Good puck movement by the Blues on the power play here. And it goes from low to
high. Jimmy Snuger, good patience right there. And then he goes right to the net front. Watch
these passes straight through. And then the shot there and then buries the rebound. Earning that
first NHL goal. Zack Bulldog thrilled for him as well. But you see that that’s a playoff style
goal too down in that blue paint. Battling away. Utah, I believe, was thinking of challenging for
goalie interference, but Andre Tyrone decides not to challenge. Yeah, I don’t I didn’t see
much on that there. Both of the Blues players were playing the puck on that particular play as
we’ll see here. Jimmy Snugrude outside of the blue paint outside and Cole shoves him into the blue
paint there. He also went off his skate there. Check that, Mr. Dwire. Upon further video review,   determine the call in the ice stands. We have a
goal. It is a goal. Snugout’s first in the NHL. Well, John, they took their time as they
should and they got it right. And Jimmy   Snugroo has his first NHL goal. Pavo Buchavic
brings the puck over to the bench and that will be a souvenir for life for Jimmy Snug. So
it’s 3 nothing the power play goal at 1445. Rivalries that have kind of developed. Schwint
hits the target. Empty netter to put this one away and his first goal of the season.
First of his career. Save that puck. Well, nice for him. The turnover in the
neutral zone and gets the chance to fire   that one down with authority in the empty net.
The reaction, the smiles, and McNab makes sure that he has that puck. First NHL goal for
Cole Schwint. Oh, and McD McNab makes sure it’s caught. It’s caught back there. I I need
that puck. That’s a special one. Good for him. 23-year-old from Kitchener, Ontario. Well,
that’s a nice way to punctuate the season, I’d say, for this V Vegas Golden Knights
team. Get a kid his first NHL goal. Close out the season in the win column as
you head towards the playoffs. Up ice,   threeon one the other way. Flames coming
in. Hunts across. Robert Horton scores. Sam Martin first NHL goal and he gets
mobbed by his teammates. What a moment. Oh, what a sally, too. That’s You could just
see the the joy and there’s his family. I mean, you can just see the the relief on his
face, but just his entire family here in the building to experience this and absolutely
overjoyed. But this all starts with a massive save from Dan Var at one end of the ice. The
Flames head up the other way and an odd man rush. Just a a perfect feed from Dryen Hunt.
He’s just been he’s a reliable guy. You know what you’re going to get from him. But Sam
Morton heads right to the front of the net,   buries it, and great s from him and a great s
from his family, too. Oh, how about that for the Mortons. Welcome to the NHL. Sam Morton. First
goal in his first game for the Calgary Flames. And it’s two nothing Calgary. Oh, off stop by
Riddick. Did well to keep in front of that. Coronado usually doesn’t need two of those. Hands
in. back scores. Coleman tipped it in, I believe. And Zane Perk, welcome to the National
Hockey League as he gets the tip in goal and cross off another rookie in
his debut scoring for the Flames. And then he bowls over Blake Coleman right after
two. Went to pick him up and say that he was sorry right before that. Two great shots from Matt
Coronado who’s he’s been so good and clutch and firing pucks towards the net. But this one,
Michael Backland was just with a really nice feed down low. Zay Perk just sort of gets lost down low
in coverage and heads right to the middle of the ice. What a beautiful tip and a skilled play. It’s
a skill touch on that too to get it up top corner. All right, so two NHL two first NHL goals in the
debut and it’s Clark lays it across. Alex Turkot for LA. Clark at the blue line. One-time
shot. It is Taylor Ward in his NHL debut. Wow, that’s emotional. The dad and
the mom celebrating and embracing. They just can’t believe it. And
knowing them, I got to tell you,   this is an emotional one for sure. Just
such a proud moment. former NHL and now his son playing his first game and now he gets
his first National Hockey League goal. Wow. This is the night of rookies. And Jim Hiller
rewarding Ward getting some power play time in his debut. Comes up with a power play goal to get
the Kings on the board. Here is ball for Calgary. Riddick plays it around. Joel Edmonson
back in the lineup tonight for LA. You can see Dixon Ward tearing up so proud
of his son who just scored his first NHL goal in his debut. Coronado weaves his way in as it
knocked away as Thomas jumps on it for the Kings. We got to look this up. Have we had three NHL
debuts with three goals before? I mean, I I don’t recall one, but man, this is some night for
a lot of families. Quinton Biffield overscriier and a drive by Fogle. Swallowed up by Bladar. One more look at the first goal in the
career for Taylor Ward. Just in the right place. Gets his stick on this rebound. It’s
a 51 goal for LA. But Taylor Ward loves it. Carrie and Dixon love it too. His parents. the elite when you’re talking about
what they’ve done in coaching. Now   coming away. It’s Carrie. Low drive
rebound out in front. The score. It’s Skyler Brydeore’s first NHL goal. Driving
the net in the building where his father got his 1,000th point. Skyler Brydeore gets
his first and the Canes are within a goal. What a moment for Brenda Moore. I remember his
dad’s thousandth point in this building on a   Saturday night. Of course, Rod was born very close
to this arena. Kerry makes a really smart shot. He took a peek and he recognized he had Brenmore
driving the net. He had Stan Kogan driving the net. So, he’s shooting for a rebound and Brendmore
gets there first and his reach was a big part of it. What a massive moment. Hockey gods. Rod Bourne
here. Thousandth point on that Saturday night. I’ll never forget it. I asked Skyler before the
game. I said, “Skyler, do you remember your dad’s thousandth point?” And it was a little hairy to
be honest, but he’s never going to forget this. What a special moment. And that’s a beautiful
thoughtful goal play from Carolina’s defense to get it to Kerier and Kerier shooting
for a rebound getting to the net first.   Welcome to the national Skyler Bindore in game 82.

  1. Loved getting to see Demidov's goal again, but wasn't expecting the feels when Emil Heineman's first career goal popped on early. Going to miss that kid in a Habs jersey.

  2. @NHL is there any reason the audio from the celebratory portions of this video are butchered? You own the rights to the clips, so why butcher the audio??
