Yes, guys. Welcome back on here at the fabulous Dramolan Castle Championship Golf Course, host of the Ladies Irish Open 2024. This is going to be a tough test to golf here. The wind’s up, the sun’s shining. I’m excited for this. This place looks unbelievable. Heard good reports about it as well. So, this is going to be very, very good. Let’s start this round off with a fairway finder. Oh, left. Oh, should be good actually. Maybe left rough if anything. Pinnacle three. Right, let’s follow Mr. Jordan. Beautiful. It’s good to be back. So, I’m just a wee bit anxious, you know. Hello, Donnie. Don’t don’t want to make a mess in front of him. Fairly straightforward pitch here, though. Let’s not over complicate it. Oh, go. Not bad. Playing it off the tips today. I hate not knowing where I’m going. Also, haven’t played this course before, so this is going to be it’s going to be tricky today. Here we go. Three wood down the left side. Absolutely ripped. That’s good, Danny boy. Is it? Yes, sir. There we go. Little fairway finder. So, bunker 280. I’m just going to try and cut one off it with a driver down the left side. Double cross. Oh my god, that is horrible. That’s all right, is it? You excited for this? We three dead boys trip. Psyched really looking forward to getting back to hotel. We shower down for some days and a we cold paint. Yes. Did uh did your mommy help you pack your bag for three nights away? S bag and I lifted Dwayne this morning there and he he came walking towards the car with a a plastic supermarket bag, you know, instead of having a proper luggage bag. Well, I must buy you one. I’ll tell you better than that. If you beat me today, I I’ll buy you a good luggage set. A one M50P bag. You know, the good sturdy bag bag for life. I tell you, we’re in a bit of trouble. This is not This is not ideal, is it? Try and hit sort of a a trap draw a seven iron and try and get it up around there as close as you can. Should be all right there. Yeah, seems good. Yeah, that’s good drive down the fairway. The wind is gusting here and ran amongst the trees, so it makes it extra difficult, but nonetheless, what a beast of a course this seems. Anyway, we have 190 left in for this second shot into the wind. Oh, get down. What was that? Oh, your best. I do not know what went on with that second shot. Blocked it out to the right. Out of bounds. here. My ball here. So, about two yards in play. H. This is a little tough shot off a bit of hard pan. Let’s try and get this up and down. Come on. Nip that went in. No way. [Laughter] What a gum shot. I know you didn’t get to see that land, but trust me, it did go in the hole. Watch me pick it out. It’s a handy enough hold that. That was looking like a six to Now you cut half the shots to a three. What a start. Very, very, very happy with that one. Just off the edge of the green. Hit a great shot there at 197. I’ll tell you better than that. Let’s just hold it. Same as Timmy done. Not bad. Thought that was a lot quicker there. Just cleaning my balls here or sorry ball. Yes, good putt. That’s a good four after the drive. Some three. That was mental. Just heard the clink. Now Danny’s Danny is over the green. Yeah. gives a nod of approval. Unfortunately, now you couldn’t see the camera on the actual green. We’re just not We’re only beginners in the in the YouTube scene. We’re amateurs. Yeah. But that’ll all come next year or so. N you make your first million. I’m not far off my first million in that. Part three, third hole 197. The wind is swirling like mad. I thought it was into the wind on the last hole which was coming this way. Now we’re going back and it feels like it’s into the wind again. So Oh, this looks like a tough par three. It’s a brood. Stroke that very, very nice left hand side of the green. Should be just on the edge. I’d say it’s good shot. Just the wind took it. I’m going to try and hit a little or nothing little about it. I’m going to hit a low punchy six. Oh god, [Music] that is right and very very bad. This is not ideal. Bad shot. Blocked it right as you can see. Haven’t much green to work with. So I’m going to have to hit a sort of get something up a bit high. Get her land like a a butterfly with sore feet. Great shot. Not doing much better than that. Was a good shot. I know it doesn’t look like it’s about 50 or 60 ft I’ve left here, but I really did strike that well. Is a long one. Not too difficult. I should get this down in two. Go. I didn’t get the pace right. Tough pen to get to this. Yeah, it’s just anywhere on this green. Oh, so unlucky. Literally a foot bunker cat box sitting down here and I don’t know if the green keeper hasn’t been nice to us today. These are all tough pins to get to. This is about 5 yards over that bunker on the left. Going to be doing very well to get this on the green. Oh, left. Catch a bit. Catch a bit. Ah, just on the fringe. That was a tough golf shot. So tough. Sitting horrible, too. Not much green to work with. So, I’m going to have to put this till about 80°. That’s good. Well done. Thank you. Definitely not drivable for me today. So, going to take the more conservative route down the left and wedge it in from there. Missed the water. Ah, water. Ah, it did. It splashed. Ah, keep this left away from the water. It’s flushed. Should be good to win. I think that’s in the water. Don’t know. Look. Looking like we’re both in the water here, D. I think so. Obviously having played the course before, should have hit iron, but hindsight is a wonderful thing. All right, let’s try and get out of here with a five. No double bogeies. Oh, yeah. You have about third 20 yards maybe to land it in here off the off the tea. Now we’ve got a tough shot into this green from 219. Anywhere in this green is a good shot. Oh, please be the club. Come on, get up. Please. If that is the club, that is majestic. Water. Oh, cannot believe that. In the water. Just cleared the water or sorry, the out of bounds. So, I’ve got one 85. This is a massive putt this one just to keep the whole score intact. Stay under par. Get in. Yeah, I’m happy with that. After that missing the last, the demons were going through my head in that one. There’s four holes to go. 273 yards downhill, downwind, four iron on this par four. Sort of a risk and reward hole really. What am I doing? That’s actually perfect layup, but a disgusting strike. It’s going to hit four iron till about 3 ft. Oh, set it. Oh, set. Ah, it’s grand. It’s just pin high left just off off the side of the green. If I finish two over par, so I need two more birdies. I’d buy you a lovely we st yardless. did a bad mistake, didn’t I? On a weak glass of the finest house red. You know what I want want you to do here? I want this nipped clipped one bounce stop. We better sort of like the shop macro play at the rider cup. I I do have that one. Just going to take her out up lander softly in the cup into there and host her is as easy as it gets. But I’m hardly going to be trying to cut it in off the right. Ah, not enough cut. Is it? It’s on the green, but it’s probably about 100 foot. Okay, 17th hole, 190 into the breeze. Looks like a tough hole here. Anywhere in this green, I’ll probably be happy with the way I’m hitting it. left hand side of the green. Yeah. Yeah. I’ll take that. Happy enough for that. Just trying to limit the damage here. I’m not swinging well and I don’t want to go at pins and blow the score up entirely. So, it’s not really that pleasant now, is it? Well, that is absolutely flushed. Nothing wrong with the driving, let me tell you that. Score is decent. Haven’t played my best. Haven’t hit it well, but grind it out. Sort of a score sort of. It’s good to be able to get your game too whenever you’re not playing well. Just sort of learn how to grind out a score and get the most out of your game when you’re not hitting it well. And I’ll I’ll stop talking now and just rip this down the middle. When do you think that castle was built? 1812. And that’s when it was built. 1812. If you don’t believe me, research it. And the golf club was formed in 1991. Research that, too. Who was the first ever captain? Great year. 1991. Year I I was born. Roasted. Where’s that? I hit something. That’s the only kind of shot to play. I could lay up but with 212. So, let’s try and hit a low hooking forearm. Roll it up onto the green. Draw. Drop. Yeah, looks good to me. It’s in the water obviously. So, this is me hitting four. So, just try and get it on the green. Give myself a chance of a par. I’m going to try and like hit a trap hookie draw. draw. Nah, short go.
