The Race to Dubai is back and this week marks the return of the Rolex Series at the BMW PGA Championship, with an impressive international line-up made up of Major champions and upcoming Ryder Cup players. All seven players to have won the BMW PGA championship during the Rolex Series era are in action this week, including Shane Lowry, Ryan Fox, Francesco Molinari, Tyrrell Hatton, Danny Willet, Alex Noren, and Billy Horschel, who is back at Wentworth despite having hip surgery earlier this year. Horschel will be aiming to defend his title after last year in which he came out on top against Rory McIlroy and Thriston Lawrence in a dramatic final round and play-off. BMW PGA Championship debutant, Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen is one of the players to watch, with a course that could work in his favour, however with a career grand slam in his pocket, could McIlroy take it one step further this year and take the title?

aiming left. He’s trying to slide it up the left quarter of the fairway. And that’s a cracker to open his account. Green firmly within reach with a short iron. Touch of fade on there. Might well be nice, but not quite controlling the distance. We’ll see what the lie is like. Just look to catch maybe the slightly taller rough behind the opening green here. We’ll see. Indeed. It didn’t quite find the line. Thought it was going to break further to the left the first part of its journey. We’re left way left. That’s not pretty in there. may get a shot. Might be able to hit a low hook somewhere. Get it up there in the green. Poor drive from Maroy. It’s magnificent in most things. He specializes in these wonderful hands through the ball. I love you, Rory. Stay still. Stand still. Couldn’t get it. He’s got a bit of green to play with there. Pitching into up slow even though he’s out the rough actually kill it a bit and run up [Music] nicely up onto the correct plateau. Very traditional grip. The reverse overlap. We’ll test the best the first 45 minutes on this golf course. Got a bit left. Maybe just catch it. David, what do you think? Yeah, come on for it, Lance. Hurry up. Trackman showed it down the left. It’s certainly the ideal shape, but maybe just overdone. And if it’s in the rough, he’ll be struggling. I don’t like where those guys going here. The blue. It’s there. There we go. All right. Carvin Coffee of the third. He’s got the hooks off the tea and when he needs to hook the second, he can’t silly game. Very good, David. Although the rough does make it harder to do shape anything. We got a we bit kinder on them. coming in with pace from over there at the par five for Maroy. Looks like it’s just trundled into the fringe as he looks back down for answers. Yeah, but we can’t make four out of three. We’ve tried. Oh, for goodness sake. There might not be any rider cut pairings in this group the way they’re playing. Somehow I can’t see Rory sitting out for the first few sessions, but that was a rush of blood. I found a bogey there. This par uh not close. It’s kind of going a bit of rye for Maroy. [Music] They all add up, don’t they? At the end of the week. He’s not having a great day today. Maroy, this is right down the bottom of the green. It’s in the bunker. Even worse, I have to say it’s hardly hit a shot yet. Maroy, slow start for Mroy. Quick one though for Havland who’s joined the group at 8 under par with three birdies in a row. So, it can be done. First one he’s been in this week. That was excellent. That soft wet sand. Did it very well. But it’s going to be three bogeies in a row for a now heated Maroy. Three bogeies in a row and maybe a broken toe. It’s when you glance off your toe and hit your ankle. You’ll never do it again. He’s angry. You need to be angry out there. looked a better swing. We need to move that camera. And that poor guy is looking for it through the trees every time it gets hit. It’s perfect though. Good angle for the flag. Back in the stance. Push. Draw being attempted. Should spin left. He missed. He can’t believe the shots we’re seeing from Maroy. He’s way better than this. I want to find a bonus. Go on. Go on. Yes. Good analogy for his day today. A little bit of a roller coaster ride that birdie make, but it is his first of the round. And back into the red he goes for the week. tough the wagon tell his teacher. You saw that. Well, he’s certainly getting a golfing education out there. Beautiful T-shot from Maroy on that occasion. Beautifully read, beautifully struck. It’s another birdie from Maroy. Two and three. It’s a little right. I don’t know if it’s drawing. Oh, it’s gone miles. Oh, that’s perfect line. It wasn’t a shout of four. It was straight at them. They must have known it was 6 ft short of them. Daddy is still pleased. He’s taken under the rope. He likes it very short. Now he’ll give the two of them a rage. Hopefully it’ll be the perfect one for Rory. That’s on the move. Two in a row. Three bogeies in a row earlier today. And with the 12th coming up, he might just match that. Yeah. Sit. Yeah. stayed on the ferry with Jeremy. Pretty much perfect. The group in front are on 15. I would love to be there for that. Nice cement on the t-shirts. Come on. Turn. Turn. Yes. Rory boy up to four under. That’s where he was on the last two yesterday. Omega six. Great start to the back nine. Four birdies in the last six. Is it accessible? He’s watching it. Is it right? Oh, it’s a beauty. He’s that for five birdies and seven holes. He’s on a run. It’s for five out of seven. That’s for five out of seven. The Roy boys coming. He’s behind you. He’ll soon be in front of you. Great stuff from Mroy. Look at that card. It’s easy to get confused at your age, Jamie. Don’t take nothing for granted, my friend. You’re welcome, Brian. Height on that is incredible. The direction was awful. Very just didn’t expect that at all from Rory. [Applause] Cluttering the pin. That was the only option really to get that one stained. Nicely played out of the soggy sand. A big one to hold for him. Keep him momentum going for the last two. Oh, he is magnificent. He really is. Oh, this is this is reload. This looks like a reload. That’s a goner. I think that’s in someone’s pool. Trevor Francis used to live over there. Great footballer. First million pound player he was. Allison before your time to be certain. Took it slightly outside on the way back. Trying to hold it up a little bit. Oh, Rory, Rory, Rory. That’s not going to be that easy. Chimp for a play six then for Rory. pretty well judged, I’d say. Yeah. I mean, even for the great like Rory, the water on the other side is looking at you, you know, get that we bit fat by a lot of top spin. You never know if it reach the water or not, but it was there. come the weekend that for bogey and that means he’s gone bogey double on this hole the last two days falling ever further behind his RDER Cup compatriate Victor Hland who’s all the way up at 11 under eight to the good of Maroy Three more than what he would have expected down this final hole. He gave us a great show. To watch another DP World Tour video, click here. And to subscribe, click here.

Highlights of losing?
Europe will win the Ryder Cup 🙂🙂🙂
I would like to see all of players that play well, not only him please.
Hands down the best Driver of the golf ball to ever exist. The distance and accuracy is unmatched. I just wish his putter was as good as Jack or Tiger
Slob !
I love Rory, but he literally shot even par today
The dude is T36 but commands a whole video of highlights to himself. How now??
Despite everyone complaining about Rory getting a highlight reel, this was easily the most entertaining round of the day with all its lows and incredible highs.
Terrible shot tracing
Got greedy the last 2 holes. Good caddie would have not let it happen.
Nice to hear David Howell.
I wonder if playing with Rahm is putting Rory off a little, I know he detests LIV golfers for defecting.
Nice to see the pros playing military golf too. Left right left right.
He’s like someone who struggled for thirty years just to become the mother-in-law, and the moment he got there, he got lazy… This guy’s never gonna make it big.
JUST THROWING SHOTS AWAY 😢😢😢 GET TO THE RANGE 🏌️🏌️🏌️
Please please… Stop RM highlights… Nobody even likes this man baby…
Whats with wearing the stupid hoody.
Rory is exciting to watch whether playing well or not he keeps people entertained, the 18th seems a bit of bogey hole for him and not just this year.
