Charlie Kirk ‘South Park’ Episode Under Fire

If anyone around here is going to be a master debater, it’s me. So, let’s go. Who wants to debate the master debater? Let’s go. You right there. That’s the stupidest haircut I’ve ever seen. You are bound. Leviticus 317 says it now be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings. So, you can shut up, baby. You just hate America and you love abortions. After Charlie Kirk was fatally gunned down while speaking at a college event yesterday, some MAGA supporters are pointing the finger at South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, alleging they helped fuel the hatred that led to the conservative influencers assassination as a result of one of the show’s recent episodes. The second episode of season 27 titled Got a Nut originally aired August 6 and immediately drew attention for lampooning Kirk’s college speaking style. In the episode, one of the show’s iconic characters, Eric Hartman, parodyied Kirk, adopting his mannerisms for a satirical college debate podcast while sporting his iconic hairstyle and look. The lampoon climax with Cartman receiving the Charlie Kirk Award for young master debaters. Days after the episode aired, Kirk himself laughed off the mockery. Okay, everybody, the South Park episode just dropped and honestly, it is hilarious. I mean, part of it is kind of like whatever typical humor, but it was hilarious. Kirk even told Fox News at the time he had grown up watching South Park and considered the parody part of being in the public arena. But after his death, the satire has become a flash point as MAGA conservatives online have alleged Parker and Stone fueled a fire that contributed to Kirk’s death. One ex user posted, “South Park certainly fermented the hatred necessary to get Kirk assassinated.” Another outright fumed, “Trey Parker and Matt Stone are responsible for this.” And a Turning Point USA staffer posted on Telegram, “Comedy has consequences. Charlie was targeted in the culture before he was targeted in real life.” A petition has even started racking up signatures, demanding the network apologized for airing the parody, and has already gotten more than 100,000 signatures in its first day. Comedy Central quietly removed the rerun of the episode Got a Nut from its cable lineup just hours after Kirk’s death. The Paramount Sky Dance owned network slotted in episode 1 from the same season instead. The network did not issue a public statement but confirmed to industry outlets that the episode was temporarily pulled from its cable rotation. However, it remains available to stream on Paramount Plus with a subscription.

  1. Than everyone they featured would've been unalived. Really after all these years. Be real!!

  2. It shouldn’t be! I could understand pulling the episode for now out of respect but I truly hope it’s temporary. And I loved and fully supported Charlie Kirk, he loved that he made it onto South Park. The man made cartman his profile picture, he would not want the episode to be pulled not even now, but again I understand the decision to do so

  3. Charlie fueled his own hatred. I truly doubt that’s why he was killed. Much darker reasons lay in the shadow.

  4. they have NO proof that the shooter had influence from south park. if the guy hated kirk so much that he killed him it would be because he couldn't deal with the things Kirk did/said himself!

  5. South Park isn't to blame. I could understand why they would want to pull it down with all the chaos that's happening right now but Kirk and many others thought the episode was funny and great.

  6. Blame movies blame video games blame TV shows and blame the neighborhood. Reality is some people are psychotic and they are to blame.

  7. yea, this is nonsense! I'm a huge conservative and Charlie Kirk fan " R.I.P ". South Part Did not have anything to do with this. This is just click bate and trying to get something started. Kirk definitely praised the episode and always welcomed opposing views and free speech

  8. Have we not learnt anything freedom of speech? Whoever pointed the finger, its a right to express yourself. Charlie literally died in that hill, doing what he preached. Whoever created this article:Wash your hands before you type something so hateful, in the meantime, go rethink your life choices.

  9. "Trey Parker & Matt Stone are responsible for this, BECAUSE THE DEPICTION WAS SO ACCURATE!"

LOL Are MAGA all sharing just one brain amongst themselves? Is that like a time-share thing?
