Uh yeah, it’s going to be a really good match. We’re all looking forward to it. Good luck to you guys. Not too much luck, but I’m sure we’ll all enjoy it. Uh yeah, it’s my first tie here as you said, so it’s an absolute privilege and honor to be here. Uh thanks for picking me and it’s been an amazing week so far, so I’m looking forward to it. It’s nice to hear Lloyd finally do a speech. Usually that’s me. Um but yeah, off the same vein, firstly Leon, thanks for picking us and me. Um love my time with you boys so far. Really enjoying the week. All the support staff. Um you guys, good luck out there. Hope you enjoy it as well. Thanks to everyone for making possible. We’ve really enjoyed all our time. The hotel has been great. Everyone around and uh really helpful. So yeah, looking forward to the match. And yeah, let’s get it, boys. You are also the microphone is yours. Um, yes, I’m kind of similar to uh to everyone else. Uh, thank you for the organization. Um, it’s been great so far. It’s uh only my second time in Poland, but it’s been uh it’s been awesome and thanks to the team for having me for the first time. It’s uh it’s great to be here with you guys and good luck to you guys. Um hopefully we’ll enjoy the weekend and have a good match. So you you were born in South Africa in Johannesburg. Your parents, as I know, are from Scotland and Wales, and you grew up in New Zealand. How it’s possible that you play tennis, not rugby? It’s a great question. I I probably prefer to play rugby to be honest. Sorry. Yeah, I wish I was a rugby player, but um you know, I think tennis fits well with my personality. I’m very competitive and um okay it as well body shape body shape will get destroyed as rugby players very good somewhere else Jacob you made a successful debut in February in British team tell us about this season it’s absolutely great for you played in the third round of to Grand Slam tournaments. You broke top 50 ranking. It was your plan or a little bit unexpected, of course. Um yeah, obviously it was the plan, but um didn’t really expect it to to happen. So, yeah, it’s been been a fun year. Uh my first kind of full year on tour, so um had a lot of fun and learned a lot of new things. Um and yeah, to get to play two Davis Cup ties as well is is pretty special. So, yeah, it’s been a really great year for me. A question to Lloyd and Julian. You are Wimbledon champions. It’s you in a unexpected situation that you first won the Grand Slam title and then you are you have a debut in national team. How special is that situation for you? Uh yeah, incredibly special. Uh British doubles is one of the strongest in the world if not the strongest. So definitely not taking it uh for granted that we were selected. tough decision for Leon, so many options. So, yeah, I mean to to be sat here obviously with a set partnership which I think will help us a lot out there. Um, I’ve loved the week and yeah, really looking forward to getting out there in the match. And same question to D. Uh, yeah, I mean to be selected as you said with such a strong team and so many options makes it even more special for us. Uh, and yeah, we couldn’t have predicted the summer we’ve had. I think we’ve worked hard all year. We’ve earned it. We deserved it. And uh yeah, now we’re just trying to run with it. And captain, uh would you agree that it’s absolutely a historical moment for Great Britain as you have so many great double players. Yeah. Um you we are blessed on that side. We’ve also got strong singles options. Um, you know, I’ve done this for more than 15 years now, and it wasn’t always the case. Um, you could pretty much put Andy Murray on the on the team sheet. Um, along with his brother Jamie, but but now we’ve got really, really good options and, uh, testament to every single player here and every player that’s not here that we do have those options. Uh, it’s in a much stronger place and long may that continue. Thank you very much. The last question to auto tell how important for you is being a part of team GB to practice with such a great players like your colleagues. Yeah, it’s a privilege to be here and um yeah here to uh help everyone else in the team and on and off the court and um yeah, we’ll be behind them the whole way this weekend. Thank you very much.
