So I just set up this golf simulator and I can’t get my mevo plus to be even close to accurate. I saw that it could be problematic that there is a step up to the hitting mat. I use titles rct balls, projector can be 8-10 from the ball, and about 10 feet from the screen.

It’s far enough off on accuracy where the information is useless, like it could be 20-100 yarda depending on the club. Always short too

Two things; interference and distance ball travels.

    1. All the normal stuff; metal, fluorescent lighting, fans, electronics.

    2. What is your ball speed? If you are fast you are going to need more room. 14+ feet of ball travel.

Search up the flightscope interference app and use it too. My distances are bang on, putting and chipping sucks though

I’m assuming you followed the setup procedure and measured the distances and entered them during the setup, and you aligned the target and calibrated the ball height and hitting area.

Interference from fluorescent fixtures, fans, anything with moving/rotating metal, TV’s in front or oblique to the Mevo+.

It looks like you’ve got plenty of light, so one suggestion is to change the tilt angle a little.

Tech support is pretty responsive, I’d contact them.

I had pretty good luck with mevo + outside short chips and putts, I was so happy when I upgraded to the eye mini. Wish it was out b4 I bought the mevo+. It was a night and day difference and so much faster to set up and no messing with angling it and what not.

  5. With the FS app you can adjust it for a ball being above it. I actually have mine on a brick there is a drop off and then my matt is 2”. They explicitly say don’t set it up that way, and I’ve had zero problem. Numbers are spot on.

Mine was reading 20 yards short indoors but normal on outdoor range. I returned it, takes the fun out of a sim when you have to 2 club up more than normal.

Do you know which metric is off? Between ball speed, launch angle and spin those are the important ones. If it is one that is the problem might be able to find a solution

I keep seeing these comments about interference with the Mevo+. Can anyone clarify this for me? Is the vision in a cone in front of the unit? Or is the interference caused by those objects being anywhere in the room?
