Just the other day, I had a 9-hole challenge using a set of Teeu fake golf clubs, and you guys loved it. So, I thought I’d bring in a man who knows Teimu that well. You got his hair done there, Gaz. So, when it comes to buying golf clubs from Teeu, we know this is trying to be a ping driver. It’s not a ping driver. Doesn’t say ping on it. But when I tested this in the studio, and we’ll put some numbers on screen now for you all. Oh, that’s good. That’s sub 2,000 spin. And it’s down the middle. Still only a 255 carry. That’s almost as good as I’ve got that 2,000 spin. That’s long. That’s really long. 270 carry. We’ve had the longest and the shortest of the day in two separate shots. It’s another pretty good one. 272 carry. Occasionally it performed really well. Did it. Like I think there are dead spots on it because it wasn’t very consistent. But when you got it out the middle like wow. We even changed the shafts over in the Titus one, didn’t we? Cuz the Titus one has the same adapter and we’ll include that later in the video as well. So make sure you stay tuned for that. But guys, we’re both away on the power five. Looks incredible. Was that the original cover? Yeah, it’s crap covering it. A lot of people who don’t like hybrids, but like the idea of a low lofted club with offset. You can’t believe that some of the bigger brands haven’t actually thought about it really. I thought I’ll be in range to test the new wedge that Gary’s brought us from Teeu. And I struggled with wedge when I did the challenge. I the wedge let me down cuz I had this big horrible like basically like a shovel. But that like that is outrageous, isn’t it? It’s it does it actually doesn’t look real. Like you guys can tell on there the angle’s a bit different. The font’s a little bit different. It’s not as good a quality here. And it’s also got this really weird like rounded leading edge there. So clearly not a titleless Vokei, does it say? I’m a bit guilty though. When I ordered it, I ordered the cheapest one available. Yeah, but that’s what you’re not going to if you want expension, you might as well order a real one, ain’t it? Because they did one a bit more and it had like milling in face. This one ain’t got milling. I don’t think a has milling in the face though. Does it? I think it in between grooves. It does have some Yeah, micro milling. Yeah. Right. Find your ball. You got it? So guys, I know you’re um very much like myself in that we’ve both grown up in kind of Yorkshire. We both like the idea of buying golf clubs that can potentially save people money and showing them. What are your thoughts on this kind of stuff where I mean we’ve not even touched on the irons yet. I basically got a set of fake tailor made irons in the bag from Teeu and I I see the I see the glamour of it but I also think well you can get a set of second hand clubs for probably a similar price that are genuine. Well, we’re just exactly like you guys. I mean, you saw me looking at that ping driver on first team, blown away by how it looks. But the reality is it’s got to perform, it first shot there just kind of wiped all my joy away because I thought, wow, like what a club. And then wipes the joy away. It’s barely gone anywhere. Okay, that’s all right. 282. I cannot believe I do feel like though, cuz I pulled that again a little bit. Right, we’ve got it. I’m going to swap it after this all because it’s just so hard to find, isn’t it? Um, let’s get a distance. What are your thoughts on the uh You’ve actually hit these irons before, haven’t you? Because if you have a look at the seven iron, it’s the one that you uh We changed shaft, didn’t we? I think I never lost the seven iron. I definitely had it. Yeah, we changed the shaft on it, didn’t we? Maybe I’ll put it in my bag. I don’t know. But um I mean some of these clubs are all right. Some are all right, but I think it’s a bit hit and miss, isn’t it? Yeah, I like these sort of I mean we tried these. You know where it’s a different brand altogether. I don’t mind that. But when it’s like says it’s tailor made or says it’s titless and it’s clearly not. Yeah. Like I don’t like that. I agree with that. I’d agree. All right. What you Tim? Sorry. Is it Iron Man’s glove though? It’s like an NFL glove. Is it 197? All right. One iron driver. Well, I’m going to hit five iron. Yeah. into the wind, isn’t it? Oh my god. Now, the interesting thing there is I think that’s a shaft that’s done. Why is this one flexier? Yeah. Remember, we tested them and they’re all like different. And again, like when you are buying clubs from somewhere like this. So, these claim to be a set of tailor made P770 irons. Some of the best irons that’s ever been released in my opinion with a set of graphite design to AD D652 shafts in them. blue bullet. This is not I mean I’m not playing great at golf a minute but I just don’t hit that kind of shot. No, it will like a little in front and then we’ve struck it there. Yeah, which isn’t ideal but it’s ideal for James to go one up challenge. Can we make bird? This is the first time using the I’m not going to call it because I’ve met Mr. Bob Vin and he’s a lovely bloke and he’d be devastated to see that someone’s copied them. So 80 plane 75 upright isn’t it? first. Yeah, it’s made you pull it, aren’t it? That’s honestly I mean, I’ve struck that nice. It’s honestly just a lie angle. Yeah, the lie goes like that. Uh left hand side of the green, but from 80 yards, you’d hope that it’s flag high, but it’s just like gone immediately left because of the the fa face plane tilt of the club. Are you going vok or you going chipper? I’ve got vory actually. Oh god. Yeah, it does sit different that, doesn’t it? His club his club. I know. I I haven’t picked it up and tried it for a long time though. That’s just popped straight up. That line go just makes it almost impossible. It’s done all right for you though, actually. Do you know what? I hate to sound like a sports. I’m not enjoying playing golf with these. No. Um I enjoy playing like golf in it. Like I love playing golf, but I do think that it makes it a lot Sorry if I didn’t know where you’re going there. I do think it makes it a lot more challenging because the consistency isn’t there. You said to me a minute ago, a lot of people when they watch these videos might comment saying, “Oh, one or two degrees. If that’s all it is, it doesn’t matter.” But it can start to rack up if everything’s two degrees off in a different way, then your golf can all of a sudden become hard enough, isn’t it? It is so easy to get blown away with. Look at the setup of that bag. So, if you look at that bag, you know, take a picture of it and, you know, it looks quite good. But it’s got appeal. Nice head covers, you know, product looks pretty decent, I think. But then you play with and it kind of knocks your duck off a bit. I’d be sticking to soft goods. I think towels, gloves, tees. I just go to Costco for Oh, look. Dogs here. Right. Time for the putter. I have a bird. Is yours for par? Mine’s for birdie. Mine’s for par. Yeah, it’s on par, won’t it? Now, you have got to be really careful in the world of Scotty Cameron cuz I think Scotty Cameron’s are the most plagiarized golf club ever. Like I got um a circle tea putter which is actually in my bag. So, we’re going to do a video on what mistakes not to make, aren’t we? Um and I got conned on that like quite badly. I lost quite a lot of money. Anyway, um go mate. I’ll let you go for you. There’ll be a lot of people that’ll be laughing their head off at that, you know, cuz it looks very fake. There’ll be some people who are getting into golf who think, “Oh, it’s just got a camera putter.” And if you’ve never really seen a real one, think, “Oh, this is just what it is.” Well, that that’s what my friends did when they saw it. Um cuz I lent it my friend who just wanted to play golf and he thought it a real Scotty Cameron. The one thing I’ll say about it is there’s not a lot of technology that goes into a Scotty Cameron putter or any kind of answer putter for that matter. But I tested or I bought a lab putter, a lab putter from T-Moon. Uh and the technology that goes into a lab putter is obviously quite a lot. There’s a lot of R&D going into it. A lot of time and effort goes into it. So there’s like you’re not being as jked as much because it’s not saying it’s something technology wise that it’s not. But right I’ll let you uh I’m babbling on ar that I can’t believe you didn’t line the ball up. I think you’re right though in what you’re saying though cuz it is just a normal sort of answer shape. You could probably still play with that even though it don’t look fantastic. You get used to the feel of it. I found another use for these TE’s as well. Look. Oh yeah. You have to line your ball up.
