A lot of right handed bats in the lineup for Houston and shane Bieber on the mound, Shane Bieber in his last outing on Wednesday in Cincinnati, I thought made one of the most important starts of the season for the Blue Jays ready to go on a Tuesday night. And Pena drives the first pitch. He sees deep to left center field going back for show is at the wall, he’ll leaping, it’s off the wall. Pena with a stand up double on the first pitch of the series pitches chopped to high hopper to second, moving to his right Jimenez gloves. It throws on to first for the first out of shane Bieber’s start going to third base on the grounder. Jeremy Pena has driven in 16 runs since joining the Astros hits the ball to deep center field sending Barshaw all the way back. He’s near the wall. This ball is gone, gives the Astros a 2 to 0 lead on a bolt to center field. He has been clutch in the Astros uniform and even though it’s a first inning that is still a clutch swing, got him to chase the breaking ball and he strikes him out to end the top of the first. But the Correa home run who has given the Astros an early 2 to 0 lead. Here we are north of the border and that’s where Luis García will tow the rubber and make his second start of the season after coming back from the injured list, very similar to shane Bieber with that tommy John surgery. This is going to be caught by Jeremy Pena that was never on the ground that he’s ok. That hit Luis García somewhere near the glove apparently, thank goodness that glove because he was coming right back hot. Fortunately clipped off the glove and the Astros had a throw going as the free safety comes across the middle to pick it up this ball to center playable for Jake myers. That’s a good start for Luis García got an assist on a line drive off his glove in a 1232 out here is J Diaz ball hit hard in the left center field that will be down for a hit. Jan Diaz continues to hit Toronto pitching as he’s a two out base runner with a single ground ball to third. Barch backs up a half step and fires it across the infield to Guerrero to retire. And the Astros here in the top of the second, the velocity isn’t there for Luis García early. He mentioned that last start that it doesn’t bother him. He still feels like he’s able to execute pitches and be effective in time when he up and gains that strength. I’m sure some of that velocity will come back and he goes down swinging Kirk who rarely strikes out fifth, toughest to strike out in baseball strikes out here after Louis with three and one in the count clipped him. I thought that was down and in instead it’s a hit by pitch in the Blue Jays first base runner , he’s hurt, he’s hurt. He motioned right after he threw that pitch to the dugout and he grabbed his right arm and he felt something after that last pitch is coming out of this ball game. It was a quick conversation. Luis García is out of this game after an inning and two thirds AJ blue ball still out there warming up preparing for his sixth relief appearance of his career. He did make one start, Allen’s wide. That will be a walk that will be charged to Garcia this one to center field. Jake myers drifts back a few feet and Jake will put it away against his former teammate to end the inning. Jordan slices the left field that will be down for a hit. He continues with his on base percentage over 500 since coming off the il on the ground left side, Barger picks it up. Third baseman Slings to second one. Jimenez over to first for an inning ending 543 double play. Big hack there well out in front on a slider with Jesus sanchez, left handed hitter, punches out Bieber’s third of the start and there are two outs in the top of the fourth. This ball smoked in the center that will be down for Christian walker and two out as they had at least one hit in every inning. He’ll issue a walk here. A two out walk to myers pushes Walker up to second, hit out to center field and deep racing back at the warning track leaps at the wall and he got it DV with a catch up against the fence to save a run maybe two. And the top of the fourth Jays still looking for their first hit of the game called third Guro down looking as blue ball has back to back strikeouts going back to last inning, got him top of the zone as Blumer was saying blue ball with three straight strikeouts. There’s that four seamer elevated at the top. Blue ball is another guy that gets really good extension, but Marshall was a little bit late on that. He reached back, grabbed that 96 and rushed it past him and got that chase up out of the zone. Alejandro Kirk bounces one right back to the pitcher. Blue ball. He will run to first and underhand for a 123 blue balls retired all seven batters Astros lead 2 to 0 heading the fifth, that one slicing the other way again. This one is going to be down for extra bases. Jorna is going to head into second. He continues to use the entire line to line field in the outfield and that one is a double into the left field corner in the air to right playable for Lucas and the side is retired to the bottom of the fifth. The Blue Jays down 2 to 0. Anderson Barger the first one to face AJ blue ball here in the bottom half of the fifth and that’s going to be a leadoff walk to Barger here to start the bottom of the fifth. Pops one up on the infield. Jose Altuve, the second baseman is there and that’s the first out of the inning just like that after a walk, a first pitch out fastball up for strikeout number four for blue ball. Second out of the inning. Blue ball continues to look impressive. Ball popped up. Jeremy Pena backing up and AJ Blue ball threw another inning despite the leadoff walk no issues. So there’s a line drive base hit. Jose Altuve will lead off single here in the sixth inning. Has to feel good for tube who’s been fighting it a little bit lately, jake hits one to left that’s going to float in there for a base hit jake Myers now a hit in every game since coming off the Il and the Astros have runners on 1st and 2nd big spot here, Bieber trying to keep it at just a two run deficit 1st and 2nd 2 down for Diaz. There’s a line drive base hit to left field that’s going to score at least one at an RBI double for Diaz three good at bats tonight against Shane Bieber in the Astros lead three. He’s given up three runs so far in this ball game, but the Blue Jays haven’t been able to do anything offensively and he’s going to be done tonight. Journeyman right hander A de los santos is into the game for the Houston Astros as the Blue Jays still strive for their first hit of the game. They’ll start with the top of the order and one to left field and the first hit of the night is a home run for George Springer number 28 on the season and it’s a two run game time and time again, he comes up with a big hit for the Blue Jays. You start a rally, get him back in the ball game. He’s done it once again, guerrero lines one into center for a base hit. That will be the last batter de Santo faces Stephen Oer will be called on Joepa going back to the bullpen here in the sixth, left center field. Plenty of time for Dubón or Myers. It will be mauricio who puts it away for the final out of the inning. Another one the other way that’s going to be a fair ball. You on Alvarez has three hits all to left field tonight as he got jammed and just punches one in the left. He’s three for four and it sounded like that got him and he did it clipped him and Rodriguez hits Correa Brendan little in from the bullpen trying to get the third out here. Ball four. So little was out in front of him. 0 to 2, but he walks to load the bases that time. It looked like he went and he did. Little will strike out Walker and that will retire the Astros. They leave the bases loaded and Addison Barger leads off the inning with a double. He’s been on base all three times. He’s come to the plate tonight. He got hit by a pitch in the second. He walked in the fifth to start that and now he has an opposite field leadoff double here in the new pitcher into this ballgame is another lefty. It’s going to be Bryan King. His numbers against right handed hitters are good called third in the inning. Brian King getting both pitch hitters Tyran and is conor papa off the bench. And of course, we’ve got some changes now for the Blue Jays. It begins with tommy Nance on the mound and now Jake Myers sends the first pitch to deep center another great play up against the wall by Dalton Diaz at first and one out on the ground over the mound picked up at second. I steps on the back for one throws over to first for the second and that ends up being a great pitching change for the Blue Jays you into this game to close it out for the Houston. The Astros got a 225, a, this will be his 64th appearance. That’s up ball four. The Blue Jays will bring the tying run to the plate. There’s the strikeout getting Barger going up top for 96 that is the 99th strikeout of the year for a to center field. A base hit up to second missing ball four to load the bases kind of come to the play with the bases loaded. He’s a very good fastball hitter and he’s two for three against Brian base hit scores clement lead time back and the other runners advance. What a moment for Isaiah got him foul tip caught by Diaz. That’s a huge out getting springer for out number two and now miles will be punch shot shallow center coming on. Jake myers has time and he’ll get there for the out here in the night. Jeff Hoffman is on the mound. Blue Jays bullpen has been very good. They have not allowed the Astros to score, Shane Bieber gave up three runs on nine hits and five and two thirds ground ball to first guerrero going to third. What a play by Vladimir Guerrero Junior. I have said this time and time again, there’s not a first baseman in baseball that throws better than Vladimir guerrero junior lifted out to deep center again. Farha sprinting back, angling to left center in front of the track makes the catch and we go to the bottom of the 10th. Craig Kimbrel in to make his ninth appearance. Breaking ball chopped over the mound straw on his way to third and Guerrero is safe, took his time. He always hustling out of the box no matter how softly he hits it as good of an opportunity as they could ask for here, Tyler Heineman and a ground ball to and the Blue Jays win it. Tyler Heineman the hero 43 in favor of the Blue Jays who went into the ninth down by a pair. They somehow some way come out with the win.

  1. As an Astros fan, Jays deserved this win. Astros are cooked this year. They've held it together for this long with paperclips and rubber bands. I'd like to see the blue jays make a decent playoff push.

  2. Framber and Abreu have become Pressly and Montero . They consistently grab losses from the jaws of victory. These 2 have recently accounted for 5 losses since the Astros were 7 games up. Now they are one……Houston we have a problemo

  3. Anybody know how long Bo is gonna be out? My experience with knee sprains playing football is usually around a month. You just don't replace the kind of production Bo has at the plate and we need home playoff games

  4. Heineman showing Altuve the correct way to remove your shirt after hitting the game winner

  5. That was a certified heartbreaker 💔

First Luis Garcia exits early ( hope he's ok ) and then the late game collapse.

When we failed to score in the 8th with the bases loaded, I started to see the writing on the wall.

  6. It's so surreal – where all the boobirds today? Where all the Vladdy haters? Where all the Schneider can't manage dudes? Where all those commenters saying they should have left Beiber in?

  7. There was a time when Vladdy didn't hustle out of the box. Glad to see he rethought about that – at least in this game.

  8. Such a complete line up. Been a fan since '86, lived through the championship years, and this is the most balanced and complete team I've ever seen.

  9. September 10, Top 7 in Jays batting order 1 hit, that was in the 8th inning, they are terrible, good news so are the Yanks and Sox

  10. I’m telling you Joe Espada is the worst manager in MLB right now he is toe to toe with Mendoza from the Mets. This is unbelievable he never called a timeout throughout the entire 9th inning to have a little chat with Abreu so he could help him settle down and be able to close the game. That makes me think he doesn’t have a good relationship with his players.
