If you’re hitting it straight and long, you good. Keep up the good work.

Pull your back in chest up eye on the ball feet at 30 degrees don’t bend your elbows shoulders protracted grip at 45lbs of force then pull your back up and out at the same time curl your toes and relax your wrists eyes forward of the ball dont forget to turn your neck up to your c6 but no more vertebrae than that otherwise you’ll pull the ball to the left. Other than that youre good!

Why are you not rotating the lower body all the way through?

The lead leg knee movement is over compensating your hip rotation and making it so you are swaying up and down throughout your backswing and follow through. Try to feel that rotation come through your hip on the outside of your trail leg and go back as far as your body lets you. Try not to drop your knee down and instead rotate it inward (if you get over your toes with your knee it’s too far-think about rolling your knee over the side of your foot instead) It will save your back in the long term and smooth out where you make contact with the ball making you more consistent

  5. Your right foot isn’t in line. Your feet are aimed to the right, and your club face is aiming left.

Slower and more controlled swing. Imagine a metronome beating. 1 -2 backswing, 3 hit ball , 4 follow through

Please finish your other half of your backswing. You need to give yourself a chance to shallow the club.

  8. disclaimer i suck, but a lot less now than i used to. This is called the [one piece takeaway](https://youtu.be/9vppYNwFpEI?si=l_pVZasPJsLm2SCD) and basically you want to start your backswing with your upper body and maintain the shape of your arms. I try to hit checkpoints along the way with my swing, and I’ve found that now, at almost all points in my swing, the position i’m in feels strong. like, at the top of my backswing I don’t feel like someone could push me off my mark with one hand, I feel more solid, ready to strike. Same with my follow through, it feels solid. The speed of your backswing has little or no effect on the speed of the downswing. Slow it down, make sure your club is going to all the places it needs to go on the way back. There’s a lot of variables that affect the club face and you just have to make sure you’re set up for success with a good takeaway and backswing. hitting the sweet spot on the face is more important than trying to crush it. You got a good swing though for a rookie

  9. Honestly a lot of potential I see. Please don’t ruin it by trying to figure it out on Reddit. Invest in lessons if you can.

Scottie scheffler takeaway drill worked wonders for my iron game. Also focus on tempo > power

Early extension is a common swing flaw and you have it. Good news is there’s a lot of videos on the topic. I’d start there. Great ball flight though. Assuming you hit your target on this one.

Few things here. Your transition is much too fast. Try pausing ever so briefly before starting your downswing as I feel you are rushing it. Try thinking of it as a metronome for a nice tempo. Also at the top of your backswing, try shifting your weight more toward your lead instead of leaning back toward your trail foot like you do in the video. Good luck and hit em straight and long my friend!

You need to change your intention. You shouldn’t be trying to hit the ball. The “hit” feeling should happen well before the ball at around hip height on your trail side. Check out the Rory drill where he’s holding a driver in a split grip. Where he stops his trail hand is where you should feel like you are hitting and that is where the downswing ends. The rest of the swing just happens because the forces have been set in motion.
