I went to Puerto Rico about a month ago and I’ve really been wanting to share some photos and how awesome my experience was. I took so many photos but I’ll just try to share a few of the best ones.
First of all it’s an expensive course, it’s in a high end resort and if you’re not staying at the resort it’s pricey. I paid over $240 to play a round there. Granted I don’t typically pay this much to golf at all, I try to keep it sub $50 when possible 😂😅 I just viewed it as a once in a life time opportunity to play there as I don’t know if I’ll ever go back. Anyway it’s worth the money, it’s immaculately maintained especially considering it runs through a rainforest and the edge of the beach. The views are probably the best I’ll ever see on a single course again. Course itself was super fun and challenging. I want to print some of the photos I took!

I’ve never regretted splurging on a round of golf on a trip. I’m the same and that’s usually the only time I’ll pay a few hundred for a round.
People can say what they want about resort courses but they are gorgeous
Looks like they let you drive in the sand traps also.
Bahia’s the best in PR for sure, Dorado Beach & Rio Mar are nice as well but don’t come close to it. They just closed the Caguas Real course for renovations and they’re investing a ton of money into it, hopefully it will be pretty good!

We played there last February (2024). It was absolutely spectacular, especially the last few holes on the back.

Anyone ever play the palms or beach courses at Palmas del Ma?
That course looks unreal, was there a specific hole or view that totally blew you away?
Bahia’s great… love 17 & 18 with the beach on the right. Bring plenty of extra balls. I don’t know that ever lost so many in 18 holes.
I played there last year, was hot as can be but an awesome time. Water on almost every hole haha
