COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State capped the season-opening Folds of Honor Collegiate on Wednesday with its lowest round of the week to finish in 10th place in the 15-team field.

The Buckeyes carded rounds of 294-297-292 and was 31-over par for the 54 holes.

Individually, Tyler Sabo and Topher Reed led the way by finishing 28th at 7-over par. Sabo got better each round with rounds of 75-73-72 while Reed posted a 2-under 69 on Wednesday for the lowest round of the week by a Buckeye. Reed played the final four holes on Wednesday in 4-under par.

Timotej Formanek carded rounds of 75-72-75 to finish at 9-over par and Joe Wilson IV was two shots behind Formanek after rounds of 72-76-76. Jack Vojtko rounded out the Buckeye five with rounds of 81-76-76.

The Buckeyes will be right back to action next week as they will play in the Bearcat Invitational at Coldstream Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio.
