It’s not bad but also depends on your age and a bunch of other factors

Wtf is flat carry
Froggy_400
230 yards isn’t bad by any means. Most casual golfers tend to average about 225 on a drive. With that distance and keeping it in the fairway is perfectly acceptable.

It’s not bad at all, but is it straight?
Started this year (properly) and that’s about mine, maybe a tad under and I play once a week roughly. Occasionally can boom one 250/260 and also duff one 200 or less!

awesome

Was it straight? Then it’s good enough.
Not straight? Make it straight.
This sounds hateful, I swear I’m talking about golf.

My buddy who shoots low 80s can only carry it 200. This is a fine drive if you keep it straight.

I would say yes that’s good. When I started playing it was really hard for me to hit a driver more than 200 yards. 250 was my dream at the time.
3 years later I usually get about 285 (including rollout) on a drive.

Good enough to break 80

230 in the fairway is a good start for anyone….

Not bad for a new golfer. Frankly with a slowish ball speed you must have very little spin or a lot of wind helping you.
