Hitting the tree ➡️ simple swing change ➡️ great shot!
front. Okay. Thought your swing plane was was was okay there. Just stand this side a little bit. I’m going to show you the back swing. So when you go So you’re here, but as you come through with the face is turned over there. And it’s actually the face that hit that to the left. If you look at my club face as I go through. I mean that’s quite a good test actually. If I pull this at all, I’m going to hit that tree. But you have to be Can you see how the see how the face has come through this way? Yes. And it’s not gone that way. Yeah. So, we need to get slightly better understanding of that club face and uh yeah, keep the club in front of you as much as you can. Open it a little bit for this shot. Okay, up in front. Let the club fall. Release. But that’s that’s really it’s looking back at your left shoulder. That’s the feeling. Cupping the wrist here. It’s not doing this. Yeah. Okay. If you can do that, we should miss the trick. Beautiful. Really, really good. Cuff loft stayed on. Chested more of it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That’s good.

Dan is the man!
Dan you are a fantastic golf instructor
Buddy was determined to hit that tree with how closed that toe is
I would be much better trying not to hit the tree. Then, I would definitely hit the tree 😂
Do you intentionally instruct "face control" rather than swing path as the fix here because it's easier to get the correct path that way for most students? It certainly looks like what fixed the issue here was a more inside to out path but you never even mentioned that. Is this a case of the body will follow the hands? It's just surprising the see such a change in path with no mention of it.
Howzat!
His weight went backwards!!
Don’t you wish your playing partners would just politely say “ok” after you hit a tree.
