Found a deal on a unit with 1000 lamp hours for 400 bucks. Planning on picking it up tomorrow around noon so any input is helpful before I purchase as it’s the major part missing in my sim set up I built this weekend.
My garage only allows for 10×10 hitting area in my 3rd car garage. We park both cars in and our golf cart (I have to move the golf cart out slightly so my kids don’t accidentally hit it). This is a permanent set up where I just need to move the hitting mat.
My question – will this projector model allow for a 10×10 projection from corner to corner? Is it better to drop my height down a few ft? I don’t mind if it doesn’t fill the entire screen but having it fill majority of it would be nice. Using Rapsodomlm2pro with iPhone currently. Using awesome golf for now until I get used to the unit and will get GoPro in several weeks once I feel like I have everything established (I don’t want the time to start ticking on the one month subscription until I’m ready).
Also, I know some of you will suggest getting a side mounted garage door opener but my priority is to get this sim up and running using a projector.

Google projector calculator and use it to calculate where you need to mount the projector for your screen size and it was show you how much it covers as well.
