Well, now that now surely will be end of break. Again, another sign there that the table that the balls just aren’t quite reacting because of the moisture in the air. The humidity certainly affecting just how much zit you get out of the white. Now, Jimmy White certainly doesn’t struggle in the Q power department. That sort of shot usually so easy to him. Put everything into getting that white back down here. not able to. Is he taking this red on? He is. Oh, what a pot that is from Jimmy. How brave is that? Brilliant. Brilliant pot. It’s a great pot. He just can’t quite believe he hasn’t landed in a nice run of color, but he kept this break going superbly. I mean, he’s knocked in some balls in this break, but surely Anything else is a step too far now. Just the black playing safe. Big target to get a snooker if he can get the Q ball right side. Pink and blue there to to cover 28. Well, he’s played his way back into this frame from nowhere really. A chance came and he’s got himself back involved. Yeah, I mean it should have been over, shouldn’t it? Katy was gliding it seemed towards the finish line. Missed that red to right middle. Now he’s snookered on the yellow. 20 in front but snookered a miss like four Jimmy. Well, good hit second time round. Not left the yellow on. So, 16 points in it on the colors. now he’s played that nicely as well. Chose to come in behind the yellow. Was looking for the exact line that he found with it. How much of the yellow can actually see? I can see the thin edge, the right side of it, but how much value is it to him? Well, he’ll be absolutely delighted with that result because going into the brown was not what he intended. in another snooker though. And it’s amazing, isn’t it? I mean, he couldn’t have been in a more in a position of strength when he was at the table. Miss that red and now it’s in Jimmy White’s hands. Brown’s going to be a key ball here. Oh no. Oh no. Jimmy. Jimmy. Jimmy. He is livid. Right behind the yellow. It was never in and he knew it. Well, there’s been lifelines galore in this game and Ken Dockati thrown one there once again after that missed red to middle that let Jimmy in earlier on in this frame. How has he missed that yellow? He’ll be so so disappointed with that one. But it’s never plain sailing, is it? Look at the shot he’s got now on the green with the spider. Very easy to put a trace of unwanted side on this and it could go anywhere. He’s played it well. Good pot. Five. Oh, what drama. So Ken Knock needs the brown after all that. Well, it was the opposite middle pocket that very nearly cost him this frame. Can he drop this brown in dead weight to this left middle? Very acute angle. It’s never straightforward, is it? This game or not as straightforward as it should be sometimes. Well, how does Jimmy fancy coming off the top cushion here to try and pop this brown? He’s having a look at it. Any sort of contact to that brown off this top cushion. Surely it goes in. But is the knuckle of this left corner in the way somewhat. Well, he’s trying it. This will be some shot. He’s got to use side here to generate the angle. Nowhere near. Can’t possibly put it back. 21 in it, but he can’t risk going to get into play from there. That’s fair enough. Yeah, Jimmy can’t play the same shot again here. I just wonder if he’ll try. It’s a bit of a wild one. The two cushion route. Right side cushion, top cushion. Or is he trying to still swerve round and get the side on the CQ ball here to pop this brown? Surely not. No. No. And now he needs a snooker. Oh, he missed that yellow. That’s the shot. I remember there were mistakes before that, but you can wipe those from your memory when you’ve got the chance to extend the match. But he missed it. And now, as you can see, needs a snooker. Well, he’s determined to get this shot, isn’t he? Even though he’s probably going to lose now. And there’s the handshake. So, a battle between two legends. It was full of incident. Little pat on the back there. They’re great friends, these two. Great competitors as we saw. And it is Ken Doati who advances to round two in Jedha. He’s beaten Jimmy White by four frames to one.

The standard in this match wasn’t great, pity two legends of the game drew each other in first round. Good to see the old timers still competing but Ken was the better player today
WE FORGET JIM IS ALMOST PENSION AGE
always a buzz when jim plays win or lose
Time to knock it on the head Jimmy you’re miles off it my old son.
He should retire.
No one is watching.
Jimmy is a prize clown
Dead man walking old loser jimmy
Jimmy not thinking straight after yellow miss, after 1 snooker needed why keep attempting to pot brown. Should've played snooker on final red behind black.
Atmosphere electric as always! :/ hate this tourney but great match
Jimmy got an attitude that even the greatest players on earth shouldn’t ever have. What a terrible old man he’s become. Time to give up the cue and get your slippers on, you’re ruining the game, Jim.
You know how Axel Rose from Gun’s n Roses lost his voice a decade ago but still continues to tour and it’s painful to watch and horrible for GnR’s legacy? Well that’s Jimmy White to snooker
White v Doherty first played in a pro match in January 1991 in the QF of the Mercantile Credit Classic. Must be a record for the longest gap between two players in a pro tournament.
😂
It is very disappointing about brown
Results That age factor does matter in snooker
You cant have the cue until you are at death door
So plz sir
Retire plz
Jimmy looks more like Dot Cotton every time I see him 😂😂
What's legendary here
Jimmy playing the brown reminds me of that movie, Tin Cup.
99% of the other players play the snooker on the red. Jimmy needs to just retire now, its embarrassing. He wouldnt get a tour card on merit now
Ken Doherty has been looking exactly the same since at least 30 years. This man has no age… 😂
Jimmy retire mate U not the same player anymore
Jimmy white puts all practise in world in… and hes still Fuckin Shite😂😂😂😊
wow jimmy is terrible, missed that yellow? it was practically straight, then puts on the clown show of not being able to put side on the cue ball to pot the brown after coming off the bottom cushion. Sorry Jimmy, 1992 is long gone my friend.
Time to change his name to Jimmy Shite
Incredible Gameplay 😎
Well played Ken!
Always get the feeling with Jimmy it matters more to him than the others.
Probably because a lot of the others have won their titles in their career and this just scratches the competetive itch and they enjoy it.
Jimmy seems to get very down on himself. Needs to enjoy what are basically exhibitions for the golden oldies and he'll probably loosen up and do himself justice
Not sure what Jimmy was doing on that last brown once he missed it a couple of times you just hit it and get the white as far away from the brown as possible and hope for another chance to snooker
Jimmy must stop cocaine and alcohol
Deary me, the Whirlwind's taking some stick on here lol. He's been a good servant to the game.. I think a bit of respect is due!
I am not sure about the last red did he play it like a safety shot or did he over hit it and wasn't expecting the red to go in even when he played the black ball he did get the snooker but the miss on the yellow was terrible a straight yellow to finish on green he hardly had to do anything with the cue ball just pot the yellow he failed and after the brown ball he looked so fed up and called it a day why not play a safety shot on the brown would of been the best solution there it was a poor frame from Jimmy and if he looks back on this he would love to play this frame again xxxlol ❤❤❤ best wishes enjoy your day ps thanks for the video 5:45
