to use she’s been told she’s not allowed to use it so I don’t know what it is by her bag by the way but the other thing is if she wins this match okay which is a w 1000 semi-final huge achievement anyway but she would go inside the world’s top 100 which is such a massive Landmark to get to get past the moment she’s 102 in the live rankings would go to 75 that’s a a massive jump yeah and she’s talked about how you know she’s not getting ahead of herself she’s trying to as you mentioned keep in that bubble clearly her family helping her do that but she’s relishing each step in the journey rather than in her words making each Milestone a destination she’s process driven in my view rather than focusing on those outcome related goals we are trying to find out why there’s been W supervisors on the court to discuss what’s been allowed to be used and not doesn’t look like yala is particularly bothered taking everything in her stride Fon returns the Umpire and a supervisor looking into Alexandra ela’s some kind of object that she had in her bag as you just heard and uh we have no idea what that is um we haven’t heard any word on what that was so she’s probably going to be asked that in in the presser uh after this match but uh the 19-year-old is dominating the 23-year-old I think eish fan is 23 right now taking the first set 62 eish fan leaving the court immediately after the first set you don’t see that actually very often from EGA uh she went to talk to her coach very very briefly and then presumably uh took a bathroom break but she is uh not only losing this one but she is getting for lack of a better word uh in uh as far as unforced sors and winers she is getting slaughtered in this one uh by the Filipino so Philippines R is pulling right now and certainly the Filipino is taking this one uh very seriously and looking like she’s in the zone this this 19-year-old Alexander is going to go crazy if she wins this one but it is not over yet we’re in the first set I just stepped away they they’re in the second set right now um literally in the first game but um we put together this uh compilation of sequence of how uh there was a moment in the first set where Alexander sat down and the Empire came down and said hey you can’t we’re looking into if you can use whatever she was using and and the Empire never said what that was so no one has no clue um what is going on so my friend Jen is uh texting me right now uh the Polish flag so she’s obviously going for eish fanch um I’m gonna be honest with you um as a tennis fan I am not I I don’t even know who I’m going for because this Alexandra Ila uh and correct me if I’m in the comments if I’m pronouncing her name wrong uh I know I don’t pronounce Engish fian’s name wrong I got her now but uh Alexander is brand new uh Alexander bring some um some Pizzaz doesn’t she some swag uh Alexandra and and Rafael Nadal have some um you know some similarities I think she attended his Academy um a few years back and uh she’s won some some I think she the US Open Juniors one or two years ago so she’s really interesting and and kind of intimidating on court I mean we haven’t seen this it’s always fun seeing these new countries uh take the WTA Tour by storm first you know uh eish fiance from Poland uh winning uh I think five grand slams now for her she’s going to be a first ballot Hall of Famer um that’s unheard of for someone from Poland and now we have uh the Philippines and Alexandra Ela Ela am I pronouncing that right Ela so um the winner of this one I’m not sure who will play um of course sabalenka won last night against J um ranu and Pula are coming up later today that’s going to be an exciting one too the Brit versus our beloved American Jessica Pula we are filming as always right now in Dallas Texas rooting for those Americans and loving every minute of all the other players from all the different countries and pagul is definitely a fan favorite of ours always filming in behind this is kind of interam when I get behind watching a match I’ll just uh fast forward through the changeovers but maybe not with this one because the Umpire is kind of talked to not kind of he has talked to Alexandra twice so far about whatever was in her bag and then he talked to a supervisor then he talked to another supervisor two supervisors on court whoever the maybe it’s a head referee and one of the supervisor what was in Alexander’s bag it’s it seems to be something pretty minor though I will say that it’s not like there’s anything nefarious in there I don’t think um but something that’s against the rules and and they just gave her a little little nudge uh not an official warning or anything just a nudge saying hey don’t you don’t don’t use that um so let’s see if IG fian uh as our polish Queen let’s see if she can take this to a third set um which she’s fully capable of doing fian could win this one but we’ll she lost the first hit 6’2 uh and then earlier today go ahead and Google this uh it was reported by uh several uh Outlets that um you know Shian does have some extra security today uh I think the WTA is using that as precaution obviously security is one of if not the number one thing in all these tournaments it’s it’s a obviously huge deal but um eish fiance has extra security as she’s walking around the grounds of this Miami open so uh some some fan was giving her BS so uh glad to see that you know love the extra security and it’ll be interesting to see aano has some ex security too uh during Pula when she’s walking on on and off the court so uh love these players love seeing them play I am looking forward to getting back over there and watching AA and chiante and I absolutely cannot wait for Pula and um ranu uh later today so don’t know if uh pakula or R Raku is going to play sabalenka or if leian is going to play sabalenka so let me know in the comments on that we can all we can look that up together as well as these matches end I’m
