    I don’t mean to pile on here, but the sentiment here is correct. If you are going to continue playing self-taught without coupling it with core strengthening exercises, you will need a spinal fusion by the time you’re 35.

    I say this as a 30-year-old that is 15 days post-op after playing competitively with a high swing speed for 18 years. You need to strengthen your core or create a swing that doesn’t rely as heavily on spine compression to generate speed. Please learn from my mistakes.
