MONROE, La. – ULM men’s golf will begin the 2025-26 campaign at The Squire Creek Country Club in Choudrant, La., participating in the Argent Financial Classic. The tournament, hosted by Louisiana Tech, begins Sunday (Sept. 7), playing 54 holes across three days, concluding on Tuesday (Sept. 9).

About the Course
Squire Creek is home to the Louisiana Tech Bulldog Golf team. It is a private, members-only facility which features an 18-hole championship course designed by Tom Fazio. The 7,105 yard, par 72 course is ranked as the No. 1 golf course in the state of Louisiana and was ranked as one of the top 10 best new courses in America by Golf Digest in 2003 after its opening. The club has hosted numerous events in its 20+ year history including the 2005 Western Athletic Conference championships, the US Open Qualifier in 2009, the 2015 Women’s Mid-Amateur and Men’s Amateur, the Southern Junior in 2011 and 2018, and the Louisiana State Amateur in 2021.

Up Next
The Warhawks will follow up the Argent Financial Classic by traveling to the Destin Collegiate, hosted by Texas State and held in Destin, Fla. The tournament will begin September 22 and conclude on September 24.
