MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Florida Atlantic men’s golf will compete in its first event of the fall at the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate, beginning Sunday at Grande Dunes Golf Club. The 54-hole tournament will conclude on Tuesday.

The Lineup
Led by third-year head coach Adrien Mork, the Owls return their top three finishers from last season’s American Conference Championship. Junior NaShawn Tyson is coming off an appearance in the NCAA Tallahassee Regional. Sophomore Biagio Gagliardi tied for ninth in the American Conference Championship. Fifth-year senior Guilherme Grinberg competed in all 10 events in 2024-25 and recorded two top five finishes.

Graduate senior Kaleb Palm and freshman Louka Morin are additions to the first lineup of the fall. Palm competed in four events last season. Morin will look to hit the ground running after a successful summer in Europe, which saw him finish fifth in the Italian Amateur Championship and earn a win at the Grand Prix de Seignosse in his home country of France.

The Course
Grande Dunes will play as a par 72 at 7,578 yards. The course has been ranked among “America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses,” and the Roger Rulewich design is better than ever after a renovation project that included new greens and an overhaul of every bunker on the course. Recently voted Myrtle Beach’s best golf course, Grande Dunes is one of the area’s most creative designs.

The Field
Coastal Carolina will host a field of 16 teams and 90 individuals. The Owls finished seventh in this event last season, led by NaShawn Tyson’s tie for 12th individually.

Live Scoring
Hole-by-hole results can be followed on Golf Stat. The Owls will be paired with Clemson and Kennesaw State for round one.
