One of the most highly-anticipated Walker Cups in history finally gets underway on Saturday. Two teams of 10 top amateur golfers — one from the United States, the other from Great Britian & Ireland — will compete in the first day of play at historic Cypress Point.

Saturday’s action will feature two sessions with 12 points up for grabs. The opening morning session will include four foursomes matches between two-player teams, with each match counting for 1 point.

Once the foursomes sessions are over, the captains will choose their players for eight singles matches in the afternoon, with each singles match also offering 1 point to the victors.

While the competition will be tense, viewers will also be tuning in for a rare look at host course Cypress Point, which is ranked second in GOLF’s Top 100 Courses in the World ranking behind only Pine Valley.

Golf Channel will air exclusive TV coverage of the 2025 Walker Cup on Saturday, while Peacock will offer exclusive early streaming coverage of the opening round. The action begins 12:30 p.m. ET on Peacock with the Saturday foursomes session. Golf Channel picks up the coverage at 7 p.m. ET for Saturday’s singles matches.
