PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher men’s and women’s golf teams host the 10th annual Collegiate Invitational at Wild Wood Country Club in nearby Rush on Sunday and Monday.

Golfers To Know
Sarah Burgess (Jr., Women’s Golf) – Burgess last season had a season average of 87.3 strokes – the top mark on the team – and earned first-team All-Empire 8 honors with a second-place finish in the conference tournament. She placed in the top 15 in six tournaments and had her best performance of the season in the Ithaca Invite, placing ninth after shooting an 87 on the first day and an 80 on the second.
Paige Landers (Sr., Women’s Golf) – Landers competed in nine tournaments last season and placed seventh in the Empire 8 Tournament, earning second-team all-conference honors. In March, she took 12th out of 31 golfers in the McDaniel Invite.
Colin Patterson (So., Men’s Golf) – Patterson played in five tournaments as a freshman last season, including the 2025 NCAA Division III Men’s Golf Championship, which Fisher hosted in Rochester. He averaged 80.1 strokes per tournament and had his top performance in the St. John Fisher Collegiate Invite, carding a 149 to place fourth out of 27.
Nick Years (So., Men’s Golf) – One of the top returning players in the conference, Years was named the 2024-25 Empire 8 Rookie of the Year. He averaged 76.2 strokes over nine tournaments and represented the Cardinals in the NCAA Division III Men’s Golf Championship. Years earned first-team All-E8 honors with a fifth-place finish in the conference championship tournament.

The Cardinals’ men’s and women’s teams compete in the Williams College Invite at the Taconic Golf Club in Williamstown, Mass. The men’s tournament runs Sept. 20-21, while the women’s tournament runs Sept. 27-28.
