Hey guys, what if I told you Scotty Sheffller has a magic move that he does before he hits a golf shot that leads to his ultimate club face control? And no one’s literally talking about it. It’s not his grip trainer. It’s not his fancy footwork. I’m here to tell you it’s all about the right elbow and the right arm. How to swing exactly like Scotty Sheffller in less than 10 seconds. I’m going to put a big warning label out there for you guys. Not everyone should have Scotty Sheffller’s swing. Really, about onethird of us golfers should have a swing that looks similar to Scotty Sheffller. Another third, oh, you might look like Tiger Woods. Oh, darn. You’ve got to copy Tiger Woods. Another third is going to look more similar to John Rom or Zack Johnson. How do we get our swing to look like these different pros? It starts with the trail hand grip and the trail arm. And that’s where we get the secret of Scotty Sheffler. As you guys have noticed when he does his pre-shot routine, it is very unique to him. But I actually teach that on my lesson tee every day. I teach it to that one-third that has a grip just like Scotty Sheffler. I’m Ashley Null aka the grip queen. And I’ve de developed an extremely simple test to determine the exact placement of your trail hand. And your trail hand is responsible for the shape and all the characteristics of your swing. You can take my free grip test. Click the link below down here in the description. Take that test. In less than 60 seconds, you’ll know who your Toro doppelganger should be. Doppelganger is basically your twin. So once we know your shape of your swing and your grip and we get those things to match, that’s when you can start having tour level consistency in your club face. Also, in this video, I’m going to share with you exactly why Scotty Sheffller does the claw grip. So, stay tuned for that special insight as to why he’s doing that. All right. Now, with the trail hand grip, you have some options for placement of trail hand grip. I’ve developed a number system. So, I want to think of when you place your hand on the club like it’s turning a dial. So, you could be a one, a two, or a three. You also have little inbetweens. You could be one, one and a half, two, two and a half, or three. So, what that looks like on the golf club here is we’ve got the one, one and a half, two, two and a half, or three. Very subtle differences that you might not even notice if you’re not looking for it. But on tour, you’re going to find all three different grips. Someone in the one category, someone directly on the side at a two, on the bottom category as well. 2.5 or three is considered more on the bottom. Those players who have a one or 1.5, hand on top. I myself am a 1.5. I have the same exact grip as Scotty Sheffller, so it’s very easy for me to demonstrate his swing. But I can teach you how to swing like him in less than 10 seconds. Everyone should at least experience the world number one swing once in their lifetime. And I can teach you how to do that with one simple drill, the flow and go. I’ll teach you how to create Scotty’s flow, step in and give it a go, and let you try it out for yourself. The flowandgo drill also is going to work for every single person watching this video. Whether you test to be a one, two, or three or somewhere in between. Let’s talk about how the grip affects the shape of the swing. So hand can be placed on the top and that is for my open hand drill. So if you make some swings open-handed, I’m going to slow it down at first here. Hand on top. If you test to be a one or 1.5 on my grip test, you can take the test below in the description. So, if you’re a one or 1.5, all you have to do is do the open hand drill with your hand on top open-handed. So, all you have to do throughout your swing is this one simple thing is keep your hand on the top the whole time. So, right now, my hands on the top top. If you can do that, you’re going to have a swing like Scotty Shepler and have ultimate club face control. Now, if you need to be like Tiger Woods, if you test during my test number two, you’re going to keep your hand on the side the whole time. So, right there on the side of the club. Side, side, side, side. Pretty simple. You’re going to control the face and get back to square if you can do that. Bottom hand stays on the bottom whole time. 2.5 or a three on the test. You’re going to keep it on the bottom. So, open hand on the bottom. Bottom. Bottom. Bottom. Bottom. Now, that’s going to affect the shape of the swing. So, if we go hand on top, swing it on back. We’re going to have a higher, more vertical plane on the way back. If you test be number two, you swing it on back. You’re going to have more of the mid plane. And number three, you’re going to have a flatter plane as you go back. So that is how the grip affects the shape of the swing. Now, you’ve all been wondering the Scotty Sheffller secret to consistency. It’s in that elbow and that trail arm. Really, all we have to do is make our arm, our elbow, and our hand match. So that’s why Scotty Sheffller does this little number before he hits. And he’s always checking it. He’s working on his grip because he knows it’s important. As the grip queen, I also know it’s important. So, me and him have that in common. The grip is the most important thing you can think about out here. So, as you see him in his pre-shot routine, he’s always setting the elbow and the arm to match. So, what I mean by that is if your hands on top, you’re going to notice that the tip of my elbow is facing towards the camera. If the hand is on the side, number two grip, tip of the elbow is facing towards the ground. 2.5 or three are matching tip of the elbow is now facing that way. So once he gets his arm set and he keeps it set on that angle and just swings along, swings back along, stays true to his grip, that’s where the consistency happens. All right, the flow and go. Here we go. Flow and go. We’re going to combine the open hand drill with continuous motion swings. So those continuous motion swings are going to be swings that go back and forth, back and forth without stopping. Open-handed. So I’m going to do my three swings open-handed. One, two, three. And then it takes a couple seconds to get up there. So it takes six seconds to do this. One, two, three. Six seconds to do that. Couple seconds to get up to it. Got my Scotty Sheffer elbow. Got my hand at a 1.5. And it takes one second to hit it. Consistency every time. All you have to do is that one simple drill. No matter what grip you are, if you’re the Tiger Woods grip on the side, then you do your three practice swings with an open hand on the side. Keep it on the side. Keep it on the side. This open hand is going to predict all the characteristics of your golf swing. And you don’t have to do anything for it. It’s for free. Just do the drill and you’ll have all that for free. All right. So, I never hit from these wrong grips for me because it just feels bad. So, I’m always going to do my practice swings with an open hand on top to get my feels. Keep my hand on top the whole time. Make my three swings. Create my flow. No effort involved. Couple seconds to get up to it and one second to hit it. Bingo. Works every time. All right. The secret in Scotty Shuffler, don’t forget it can work whatever grip you have. If you’re the grip on the side, when you get here, just make sure the tip of the elbow’s facing down. If you’re the number 2.5 or three, grab a hold of it. Tip of the elbow should be facing the target. So, make sure those things match before you step into the golf shot. All right. As promised, why does Scotty Sheffller do the claw? Let’s look at the claw grip. What does that do with the elbow? It points the elbow towards the camera. So, that is his most natural position to be in because it already matches the grip he tested to be. That’s where he has the most stability. When his hand is on top at a 1.5, his face is going to be really quiet. I bet you if we put him in there at a 2.5 or a three, it’s going to be really wobbly and unstable. So, take the grip test, find out where you’re stable, and then do your flow and go, and you’re on your way to the best golfer your life, no matter which pro you should be emuling. But always experience all three. Try all three, but stick with the one that you test to be. Don’t try to be anyone else. Just be who you are. Thank you so much for watching this video. Please consider liking, subscribing, and comment below with your grip number. Whether you’re 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, or three, I look forward to seeing you in my next video.

I can’t find the link for the grip test!?
What about the lead elbow. Some say point it at the target, some say point at the hip. Is their a test for that too
Golf is too complicated
What about grip pressure?, baby bird myths, twist the towel drill dominate hand greater pressure. Do you have a video talking about the vast thoughts on grip pressure.
The best I've seen in 40+ yrs of golf, was a young man, 30 ish, hitting balls at a range in Lethbridge, Alberta. Bryson DeChambeau would be hard pressed to hit it longer, Scheffler, straighter!!! I spoke with him, ten finger grip with hands split about a 3/4 of an inch. 5'9"" 210lbs. He hit every club dead straight, with half the effort of either of the golfers mentioned. 3/4 backswing, rhythm of a ballerina, timing of a Ali! We spoke for a half hour. He doesn't golf much, raising a young family. I've never witnessed this type of effortless power, and I've seen some good ones!!! If you blinked you missed the next shot. Baseball was his dream sport.
Why take over 8 minutes to reveal a 10 second secret????
Did Scottie tell you his magic move or are you guessing? If you watch him carefully, it’s all about rotation. Milo Lines has an incredible channel and golf swing method that just about every athlete does regardless of the sport.
Videos like this are the reason I wish the internet was never invented.
It's not the molded training grip? 😮
awesome drill and clear explanation, no fluff – new subscriber
still waiting on grip test email btw
Why does it take you 8+ minutes to explain a 10 second drill;
After 3 minutes of rambling, I turned it off !!!
Way too many words !!!

Great video is it the same for chipping
Pure gold! Excellent lesson! Great communicator!
Can't open your grip test page
I think things clicked for me when you mention the right elbow’s orientation & its relationship with the right-hand grip
👏👍💪💯
Test
Great lesson!!! I have a "3" grip because of my build and flexibility and this was started when I was trying to fix my over the top swing. The correlation of the right elbow and the grip type is pure gold. I was close to discovering that on my own, but who knows if or when that would've happened. Your lesson makes it simple and easy to remember and to incorporate into the swing. I am very grateful for your expertise and your ability to articulate the solution to a complicated and frustrating problem for many. Many blessings to you 🤩
