We’ve all seen the pros go low from the front Tee’s, but what happens when two slightly-above-average golfers take on the same challenge?
RJ and I hit the course to see if we can break 30 in just 9 holes from the front Tee’s. Will we pull it off, or will the pressure get the best of us?

Can the average golfer shoot below 30 in nine holes? No, absolutely not. They probably can’t even break 50. But can two slightly above average golfers break 30? Well, we’re here to find out. So, let’s meet the team. This is R.J., 6’5, weighs 197 lbs. His strength is bombing drives. Weakness, cold plunges and brunettes. And then there’s me. 66 187 lb. Strength, I’ll get back to you on that one. weaknesses, wind and milk. Sure, R.J. and I, we have our quirks and features, but if the stars align perfectly, we might actually have a shot doing this. Besides, this isn’t our first rodeo. We’ve tried this before. Uh, four, maybe? Nah, you don’t think? Pretty good. That was played to perfection. Oh my gosh. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Oh. Boom. On it. That’s what we needed. [Laughter] We finished a challenge of 32, just shy of our goal of breaking 30. But this is all in the past. Now it’s time for redemption. Okay, so can two amateur golfers Why am I showing three? So, can two amateur golfers shoot seven under par in nine holes to finally break 30? Let’s find out. R.J. is now starting us off at hole one at Alonian Golf Course. I think I need a driver. Yeah, I don’t know if that’s there just because it’s Oh, now we’re in the perfect position 35 yd short of the green. My idea was to peel cut a driver, but it quickly turned into a slice. Oh, there we go. Oh, there we go. Well, a teammate. You’re welcome. I’m taking over his channel, actually. Oh, should have used a 56. Now knowing that the greens are soft, I can be a little bit more aggressive with it and aim for the pin. Unfortunately, I yank it left. And now we have a 12-footer for birdie. Yeah, that was crazy. Something like that. That was crazy. What a fun, dude. I’ll be honest, guys. I have no idea why that went in, but I’m very glad that we did. We’re now going into a par five that’s very straight and open. We have a huge opportunity for Eagle. Oh, RJ left. Dirty dog. She’s left. It’s right at that tree on the left side. Yeah, I saw it. No, that’s perfect. No, I knew I was set up left, too, but I didn’t want to move. How you hit it straight like that? You just close your eyes and pray. Yeah, that was money, dude. Just kidding. I’m taking over the channel, actually. So, kind of pulled that one a little bit, didn’t I? ‘s first time golfing. Maybe we could name it. How is that even possible? Okay, RJ hard enough. I was scared cuz I fluffed my lie. Oh, that’s right. All right. If you could just haul out, that’d be great. Oh, dude. Dude, someone’s got to check the cup. That might be in. Holy crap. I think that’s in. Let’s go. Uh, I need some uh redemption here. Wait, let me get that for you. Thank you. R.J. got us a good look at Eagle. Now I saw his putt break a little bit right to left. I know where to hit it. I just need to execute. Yo, a you hated that thing. I got a little bit too excited on that one, but it’s a tap and birdie. But hey, at least we’re walking to the next hole with two under par. Now I need to find some positive thoughts in my head and also a swing feel that would work. It’s time to lock in. Oh well. Cut. Cut. That was a good ball. Pin high left side. Pin high left side. Pin high. Last one today. All right. That might be the record on my channel actually. That was about 310, right? I don’t know. Probably something like that. Yeah. One in a row. One. One in a row. We’re on fire. One in a row. Did I really just say one in a row? Oh, we’re so back. [Music] Oh, cut a little bit more. So, we’ve covered it left and right now. Yeah, I figured we just have two looks at it. Damn it. You out drove me. That sucks. Yeah, I was going for the camera. Boom. And I got it. Call that a back stop. Oh Damn, dude. How did that roll so much? I had a 52. You had a 60. No man’s land here of Here’s the thing. This This put right here will expose you. Um I’ve already been exposed in the last video. That sucks for me right here. I didn’t want to have to putt. Big time players make big time plays. R.J. clutches it up. And now we’re three under after three holes. We’re currently finding a decent groove. This hole is tight. Thick woods on our left and right. We really need to hit the fairway here. We are facing directly into the sun. So I decide to hit a old the old trusty fade just to get us in the fairway. We really need to hit this fairway left. Yeah, it’s cutting right though. I lost it in the sun, but it was cutting right. Yeah, you’re right down there in front of the green. That’s fine. Good ball. Okay, that was supposed to be a fivey fade. It turned into a 40 yardd slice. Something is terribly wrong with my swing. That’s the thing in golf as well. Like just because you have a feel doesn’t mean it’s real. I’m feeling a 10 yard fade, but the outcome is a 40 yard slice. So something isn’t sinking up between my ears and my body. That’s That’s perfect. That’s right, Adam. Is it actually I lost it. They didn’t react. We’re good. They didn’t react. We’re good. Luckily, RJ nutted his drive. That’s his terms. And now we’re in a perfect position just short of the green. Oh, this looks sensational. Is he going right, you think, up there? I don’t think that’s going to be our deciding factor, honestly. Hold that. Oh, yeah. Yeah, dude. Beauty. Beauty. That sucks. If I didn’t pull it. I mean, that was good, but if I didn’t pull it, it would have been better. You hit it from here, right? No. Yeah. The massive divot there. That wasn’t me. Well, that looks good. Same same spot. Same same but different. Same same but different. This is a short putt, but a little bit scary. See, it’s a slider. So, you should be making these, but at the same time, if you’re not paying enough attention, they’re easy to miss. Man, it would be a shame to miss this one. Thank god, dude. I did not want to putt that. Come on, guys. We’re making those all day. I’m a good putter. Relax. You were scared for me. I know, man. Shut up, man. We’re now four under par within four holes. Going now into hole five, which is a par three. I’m going to hit full pitch. I think it might not be enough. 150 though. Yeah. Playing a little bit down. It’s kind of into the wind. No. Yeah, maybe. I’m in between a 50 and a 50. No, a pitching wedge and a 50. I’m hitting nine. Okay, then I’m hitting pitch. Sit down ball. I did not swing hard with that. So, yeah. And I’ll take some distance. You talk to it, dude. Oh, come on. Ball. That’s perfect. Get left. All right. Yeah. Show black. That’s going to be a tough putt, though. Thank you. Oh, not that much. Recover me. Oh, dude. I hit that with my purse. Oh my gosh, that was terrible. Problem. You might have to mark that. Do you want it? Oh, yeah. I can do it. It’s my channel. I should be Yeah. You’re you’re the better putter, so it makes sense for you to finish this out. I’m going to go over my bag. So, just if you could make that for us. All right. Appreciate it. I knew you were going to make it. Yeah, not a doubt. Yeah, the mind games with this guy. I swear he walks off the green and picks up his bag knowing that, you know, I’m hearing and feeling his presence while doing so and have this little nervy putt. But anyway, we are able to sink it and we’re now going into the sixth hole, which is a par five. Four under par. And this is a good eagle opportunity as well. Yeah, perfect. I mean, that was money. Oh my gosh. Let’s go. Oh, we’re good, dude. That was that was cash. That was That was cash. Holy smokes. That was nice. Yo, you’re having one of those days where like it could just be rain and boobies and you still look look up in the sky and get hit in the face with a pecker from the top. I should not be rotating like this and then doing this. I should be going down here and then rotate through. But I’m so excited. I’m just going to go and rotate from the top. Okay, second shot. Oh, wow. Screw that one up. Damn. Second shot in 150. 150 on the money again. Oh, okay. Get in the hole. Get in the hole. All right. I kind of swung hard at that. So Oh, what a dart. That was 150. Oh, that was a good ball, too. Dude, what did you hit? Pitching wedge. Oh, that’s why. I was gonna say if we sink this eagle putt, we’re six under par with three to play. We might have this in the bag. You think it’s pretty straight or like left to right maybe a little bit? I’d play maybe 2 and 1/2 in out left. Yeah, it’s probably just like left edge. Yeah, it’s cash though. It’s a good putt. I’d say 2 and 12 in left side is a little bit too much. This was a misread on my part. It wasn’t 2 in out. It’s a dead straight putt. Now I have to be useful, dude. Dude, that’s that’s amazing. What a putt, dude. Eagle. Yeah, that was that was a huge eagle. I’m I’m just glad it went in. I’ll be honest. Cut. That’s I think it should be fine, right? Just left side. Let’s try to cut. Oh, cut it maybe. Oh, no. It’s right at the pin. I can’t tell. Dang it. Did I hit the tree? I don’t know. Didn’t hear anything. All right, babies. Yeah. All right, take it. She’ll play. Oh, that was good, too. I mean, mine was better, but it was still good. H. What do you want from me, man? All right. Choosing mine? Yeah. Yeah, we should for sure take yours. I like to test R.J. sometimes. The guy can never get mad. So, I took my ball, which was, you know, way worse than his, just to see his reaction. The dude doesn’t get phased at all like about anything because he knows once I hit that putt, his putt doesn’t count anymore. We have to take my ball. So, that’s why I wanted to stress him out. But the dude is just a rock. Yep. This puts us to minus 7. We’re now winning the challenge. We just need to par out. We’re set. We should not take any necessary risk. Full sand. If I’m short, I’m going to leave it up to you. Yep. Going right for that deer. Well, I actually might hit him. Okay. Show you all four at the deer. [Music] Oh crap, dude. All right. All right. That was the distance, but that was a horrible line. [Music] Sit. That was trash. Yeah. You know, again, I hit a poor shot, so now I have to react to that on camera. I can’t wait. And it’s going to be so much fun to react on my another poor shot on camera. Gosh, this is fun to edit and to go through all of this. What’s up, baby? How are you? Did I not hit that? Go. Is that slow? A little bit. I didn’t hit it that hard though. Wee bit. Wee bit. We bit lad. [Music] Oh wow. Yeah, I wasn’t even worried. Beauty. Thank you. Yes, sir. Good job. Appreciate it. A little oopsy daisies here. R.J. and I are walking into the final hole. We just need to par it. But we forgot to add the eagle that we had. R.J. And I thought we need to birdie this hole to break 30. We had already broken 30. If we can just par this hole. As I hit the record. As you hit the record button. Here we go. Way right. Yeah. You’ve walked into my trap. I’ve become numb of my bad shots now. Theoretically, I’ll be the best golfer from now on because I don’t feel any pressure. Now it’s coming back. Yeah. I totally lied. I have no idea. Oh, there’s some excuses. Oh, dude. Oh, no. I’m sorry. I’m sorry, Ar. Dude, why are you putting the pressure on me now? Oh, man. Dude, what? Dude, okay, we might be cooked. Dude, there’s no way. We might be cooked. There’s no way. We completely messed up our wedge shots. So, now we have around 30 yards for birdie. We’re thinking that we have to make it, but in reality, we just need to get it on the green, get it within six feet, and knock it in to break 30. But we didn’t do that. We played aggressive and wanted to hole out. Good ball. That was a good ball. Nice. Nice shot. Oh, we’re just chasing an imaginary birdie. We don’t need to do this. Just put it to six feet. Tap in for par and we’ve won the challenge. No, please. Please, please. Midair. I knew I should have used a 56 when I was hitting that first shot. To be fair, we would have probably still had a tough bird. Yeah. All right, we’re playing yours. We’re playing. Holy This is for par. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No, this is this is for honor. I think it’s you. I think this is better. This is to shoot a 30. No, this is for 29, guys. It’s for 29. That’s a good putt. Uh, yeah, a good tap. Yeah, but we needed a great putt. I know. We needed a great putt. I have this to break 30 and beat the challenge. That was a good putt, too. That was a good putt, too. This is so bad. We It’s just counting the amount. I mean, we birdied one, two, three, and four. We parred the fifth, but then we eagled. So, that’s six under par. Then the hole after hole seven, we birdied again. We’re good, RJ. We were there. We had the challenge in our palms, man. We didn’t need to go after it. How can we be so dumb? How is this possible? Anyway, guys, let me know if you want to see R.J. and I try this again. Next video, I’ll be putting my own clubs on the line to attempt to break par. Thank you so much for watching and I’ll see you guys
