well positioned off this first te right in the middle of the fairway. She’s got 142 to the hole. It looked like she took a little bit off of that maybe between clubs a little hit a driving shot but leaving herself in a good position for uphill putt coming back. Two of the tears [Applause] She wanted it to go. It obliged. Oh, this looks so pretty. Getting enough speed. What a way. You just set her up for victory there, Will. Miy Lee, the putting machine. Beautiful look at these greens and tugged it immediately. And that is a nervy start with the putter for Nelly Corda who opens with a bogey here at the 10th. So a birdie, a par, and a bogey from this featured trio as they head over to 11. Great look at this whole location. Hello. Let’s just keep the season going. He’s got about 55 back to the pin. [Applause] It’s a very important little three-footer early in the round for Nelly. [Applause] It’s the face of someone who’s like, “This has been way too stressful to start this round of golf.” Challenging layup. Brook Henderson still working on her drop. Now the third for Miy Lee. About 50 yards short of this back pin location. 30 ft up the hill. I mean this is this is ridiculous. 1.15 strokes gain putting circumstance. Is it type of player? as we watch MJ Lee’s second here at 13. Winning on the LPJ tour is hard and I think uh for players who are just outstanding men’s tour as well who are just top amateur you expect immediate success on whichever tour it is and uh it is it is not always a guarantee and sometimes that can be so mentally Ellie Corda finds herself in here at 13 There we go. Now we’re talking. All right, up to the green now at 13. Mi Lee looking for the outright lead. Oh, automatic. We’re going to have to start coming up with new adjectives or synonyms for how good Lynn could really use a miy type putting transformation. Three players, three birdies here at 13. It wasn’t that easy of a hole before this group arrived there. Quarter well positioned as 156 to this whole location back behind these bunkers over on the right side. 30 yards ahead of Henderson. Left herself 93 yds to the hole. not able to take advantage of that huge drive. It’s too early in the week and too early in the round to call a heat check, but it feels that way for this putter from Miy Lee. 35 ft up the hill. Oh, we were calling it in here. Another one. Hands in the air. Yeah, it’s wild. She’s a pedestrian. 67th on tour in strokes gain approach. May have overhooked a little bit up at the green. Nelly Corda taps in for her par. So a bogey and a birdie. The rest pars here to begin. She’s got 139 to hole. You could hear her. Patty Jason really the real first mistake we’ve seen from her today. 136 to the pin. Yeah, just with that lie just going to create a bit of a runner once it hit the green. Mile contended last week and had the putter rolling today. This was at 15. We’ve certainly covered her confidence with this new club in the bag, but here just showing off when you’re playing with someone. I just think back when I was when I was playing that was making absolutely everything. Just an update, guys. This team uh group did receive a warning. They need to pick up the pace. They’re going to play pretty quick here, I would imagine. Even her pre-shot routine is just down to a science where it just looks it looks so confident and comfortable. She looks so comfortable over the ball in the back portion of the screen today. Get up. Oh, it just got over that little knob that you can see feeding even closer. That was a beautiful long iron shot. Lyn Grant, make it dance. Lynn needing something to happen. This is very inviting. Same thing for Miy Lee from the opposite side of the fairway. She’s coming in from the left side. Yeah, that hill just gobbled up some of the pace length. Look for her to play this a little farther out to the right. Oh, give a pro a read and they will go to school. Nelli Corda keeping pace. There’s a little She was walking to get it before the ball was even halfway to the hole. She knew it was pure. She’s got 94 yds to the hole. Oh, it looks also like she’s almost hitting this like a flop shot. really opening the club face. Taking a big swing. It’s got to really sit [Applause] out in 30. 12 putts. Caught it in here. Close about three down the hill. Stay up. Oh, that’s so deflating after beautiful iron shot in the rookie from England, Kaye McGinty. two over at this point when she got to the par 417. Slow start as you said, but this will turn things around quickly. And Kaye Bey would follow that eagle with a four underpar front nine. Yes. [Applause] You think about all the trickle downs, right, of having confidence in the putter. Again, it’s I don’t have to force this shot thinking I have to hit it to 5 ft to make birdie. I can accept 20 ft. Thinking of um Lynn Grant. She puts so much pressure on her iron play because putting right now has been giving her trouble. Second for Nelly at two. 184 for Cord County just told her go right at it buddy. Tall grass really playing fits with her and she is staring at a six right now. Oh, it looked like it might try to turn in at the end, but just doesn’t six. He can definitely like that last putt just creep in for Brooke and cause some problems. All right, we’ll check in with the country club adjacent guys later this afternoon. They’ve been having fun out here all week. Nelly Corda coming off birdie at two and she’s got a little work to do. A really well struck putt. She kept her head down really well. Just did not get it started high enough with it breaking to the right right at the end. Didn’t get much of a read from Henderson. Left her effort well short, but she’ll get an idea on [Applause] Well, Rose Rose just hit an eight. And that was an eight from Lynn. You don’t usually see two club difference on a par three with Lah hitting six. Eight, six, seven, whatever they hit. [Music] Interesting there. Pick up a little bit. It’s good now. [Applause] Thick collar around the back. Going to play this out to the right. That was really good feel considering like you mentioned well how that was a really trampled down that can get really awkward and MJI lead’s going to make this to stay to share the lead. It’s gone from bad to worse here at this par five game that one maybe a bit lucky to hit the flag stick. That was at the 16th in her next to last hole of the day the eighth. And Nelly put a new putter in the bag this week. Making easy work for that club with this brilliant approach. And Nelly to tap that in. She shot 67 as well. Who’s putter? Great shot in here. Hey, she needed a little fire in her round. That will be it. Little smile. Nelly appears undeterred by it. We’ll trust the applause. Ah, there it is. Middle of the green on her and putting that one. Another short one that she would love to have back. Aggressive off the tea. Brook Henderson aggressive second shot and the best look of the bunch by far for birdie off the tea here. Can be very aggressive with this line. [Applause] All right, Miy finished with a positive. Of course, the putter bookending birdies from long range for Mi Lee at 10 and at nine down there where she can take a big full swing out of the bunker now to Angel Yin. This was just a moment ago. She wants to go. It does go in. Oh, it went a little a couple of others to get it done to the 11th. We say hello to Tom. Thank you, Grant. This is the 28-year-old from China, Wei Wei Jang. Now, back to number one in the world. This is Jasmine Suanapura. And this is her third shot. slams on the brakes here doing a tremendous job getting it in championship shape. Kind of has the feeling that it’s like that all the time. Yeah, just a magnificent venue here. This is Jenny Bay. Yeah, that’s a nice t-shirt there. Over at the ninth aka ey dog leg right to left par four players will drive it into the dog leg and then the green sits down below them to the 10th and Haydon you second number one on tour in strokes gain approach try not to jinx her she’s unjinxable at the 11th. This is good away. It’s lovely looking pile three. This giant bunker on the front of the green there that you can’t see from our angle. Oh, what a T-shot that is. Now we’ll go ahead to the 15th which is way Jang the third shot here. Trouble off the tea. Oh, we don’t see Miriam Lee too much on the LPGA tour these days. This is a birdie putt at 15. Snaking one in and playing alongside me. This is the par putt here. Try and keep this really good round going. This was just a moment ago and she does. So that club has worked well. Emily Pison. Second at 15. She’s going well today. That whole location being in this little bowl today. It’s playing as one of the easier holes on the golf course. That just finds the on the 15th hole. Emily Christine Pettison. Get it to six under par within one of the lead. There it is. Tom, as you said, the greens getting a little bit slower. That’s such a quick putt. Not one that you can get too aggressive with. Not surprised to see it come up a bit short. This is at the 15th hole. Got that little grass verdge that cuts into the fairway, but Saipur is uh on the short grass back there. That’s a better angle from over there, Tom. Right to this whole location in that bowl. There’s one that she was talking about which is quite a bit short of the flag that you could pitch on and get it to release back. And there’s another ups slope close to the hole that would stop the ball. Another beauty from Lauren. Let’s go to the 16th and Jenny Bay. A beauty in on the par 31 trying to draw this in towards the flag stick here. Oh, snapping at it. This is the 14th and Chisato Eyee second shot. [Applause] This is Britney Altoare. Third at seven. Needing something to happen here. Yeah, that’s good. And this is the par putt for Weii Jong to keep a clean card. Shoot 67. Think about last year. Weiiwayi finishing up at the par five 18th. Emily Patterson is for 67. Yeah, she visually has a little more to deal with. Ball was above her feet. 142 for her. That was a beautiful shot from not a great T-ball. She is 134th in accuracy off the tee. Pink grip n iron. Going a little bit left of this flag. Not by much though. Gino little delicate one here. Oh, looks great. Beauty from hate on you. Thank you. Let’s chip it in from here earlier. That was for birdie for Nelly. And a par for Mega over at 17th. While that’s going on, Mega Gan for Birdie. That’s how you do it. How about this comeback? How about this back nine, Tom?

  1. 12 minutes into the video and only 6 players shown, and the vast majority of the time it was just 2. This LPGA YouTube channel continues to get worse…

  2. At just after the five minute mark you can clearly see that Minjee is not anchoring the broomstick putter against her body.

  3. I remember the early days when Minjee was so deadly with her approach shots to the green, regularly hitting them to inside five feet of the pin. Then she changed her swing to get the extra driving distance but at the cost of her phenomenal accuracy.

  4. The crowds are anemic. Give Paige Spirinac a sponser's exemption at every tournament and they will all sell out.

  5. This was awfully coverage didn't see any thing on SY KIM who's leading. 1 Shot from Jeeno

Thitikul who's #1 plus all the players who shoot -7 and finally nelly dont wear those pants looks like you have a diaper under those pants. Sorry just an observation.

  6. Love the way Nelly changed gears. Slow start to top speed, and cruising. ⛳🏌️🏌️👏👏👏👏⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐💯🦁🦁🎯🎯🔥💥🙏♥️💕

  7. It must be a three player field. Horrible coverage and is the reason the viewership is low.. LPGA has to do better.

  8. Evidently the leader by two strokes at 7 under par, S Y Kim, was insufficiently photogenic to appear in the highlights programme.
