Unlock precision reloading! Discover how adjusting powder charge affects pressure and velocity. A detailed ladder test, using small grain increments, can optimize your load and improve accuracy. Is .2 grains enough, or will it be OCD? #reloading #handloading #precision #accuracy #guns #shooting
Um, and that can affect things like my pressure and my velocity over here. We’ll get to that in a second. Your powder mass or powder charge and grains. Um, so you can select a maximum. You can put the the reloading manual maximum in there if you like. And then you have the option here of doing a ladder test. So if we go just to one or disabled, it will only give us that 43.8 grains. and we’ll get our graph over here for that. If we obviously say, oh, we’re going to do 10, then it will do it in 10 and it will open up the step size. So, 02 grain increments, right? You can drop that to whatever you want. You can do that in 0.05 grain increments. If you have a really accurate scale and you want to be really OC, I find when I’m looking for a load, 0.2 is more than enough.
