It wasn’t great yesterday. It wasn’t pretty yesterday. They left the late. They got over the line. One of the papers today back in the mirror. An exclusive saying the Man United bosses still fear the Ruben Amarim could walk out. Ryan, I know you love speaking about your beloved Liverpool being good. I know you also love speaking about Manchester United not being so good. Agree. Could you see Ruben Aaron walking away? Yeah, definitely. I I do find his comments a little bit concerning. It very much speaks to someone who’s rabbit in the headlights in the decision- making at the moment. And you would be, wouldn’t you? Because, you know, you’ve you’ve thrown the kitchen sink at it. You’ve been given the tools, albeit probably fairly limited to what he might have hoped for when he first come in financially. You he’s brought in and Kuna, but I mean the the the good recruits, don’t get me wrong. I think in is a great player. I think Kuna is very silky. I just wonder if there was, you know, in in his head he was going to bring in someone maybe up a little bit higher than that, you know, in terms of the quality of the player. Um, so maybe there was an element in in his thinking where he’s not got necessarily what he wanted, but financially United are we’re led to believe certainly in in dire straits. Uh and I I just think you know when you have results like Grimby and you lose on penalties that is you know the blow that that delivers to the to the camp and you know the way that they celebrated the result against Burnley genuinely that’s concerning you know when you’re when you’re celebrating a result against a side that you know is likely to be relevant. There’s no way where United are at the moment though. Those results for United are pretty big wins, aren’t they? Right. It’s desperation. Yeah, of course. Desperation if you don’t. Uh and you are. Yeah. But it’s sort of like, you know, when you how do you get out of that? How do you get out of that? You need you need a sudden change. And I looked at West Ham today and I thought, right, you know, what was their sudden change? You change the formation and they they turned it from a a three to a four. They had Fernandez who came in who offered them something a little little bit different. And the character was there on full display after a really disappointing start to the season. I look at United and think, you know, where is that character? Because hide it, man United, specifically the players, man. The shirt is too heavy. The shirt is clearly too heavy. And I think a lot of people in this day and age, a lot of players, they do hide behind behind the manager. Unfortunately, in today’s day and age, it’s always the manager to go. I do you got sympathy then for Ruben Amry in terms of what he’s what he’s inherited, what he’s working with. Not really. I have a degree of sympathy because I don’t think you can just blame and blame and blame the manager. Man United have not got here overnight. They did not get here only this season. They since Sal Ferguson’s been gone, it’s been a mess. They’ve brought in a number of great managers. That being said, clearly there’s chinks in the armor tactically. Clearly there away from their front line. Their recruitment’s been poor. You need a midfield. You need a midfield. You’re still pigeonholeing Bruno Fernandez. You’re alienating Kobe Mayo. You haven’t got a goalie, which again, we spoke about this earlier. As long as you’ve got Onana in goal, you you’re there to be got. Everything’s going wrong at Man United. Whether Amarin will leave, I don’t know. I mean, whether he will resign, I don’t quite buy that because you got to sweep. I don’t see him resigning. I don’t see him resign. They would have to sack you. And if they’re going to sack you, you need that replacement lined up or indirectly those talks have to been done. I couldn’t tell you who the manager would be, but who would it be? If I was United fan, I want Areola. If you’re Areola, are you going to leave Bournemouth right now for Man United? Obviously, it’s Manchester United. But would you not then just think that Areola would almost have the same problems? That’s my point. The current because you they’ve tried all sorts of different managers. Some with big pedigree, some younger managers. West Ham some keeper there. And he should be in goal for for Man United. When we talked about goalkeepers, we said you need a goalkeeper for Manchester United who can who can take on that shirt. Don’t you think the same as with managers as well? 100%. What I don’t understand with Amarim is someone from the communications team should just say to him just stop talking so much. Why do you feel the need to tell everyone everything? I mean that comment great. Sometimes I hate my kids then I don’t hate my kids. Unbelievable thing to say, isn’t it? Crazy stuff. Obviously managers Sunday league or whatever will always think, “Yeah, sometimes I can’t stand my players. Sometimes I love them.” That’s we all know that. You don’t need to tell us that. He’s he’s honest, isn’t he? There was one he said last season where I think he said I was going to games last season sat on the coach knowing we were going to get beaten and I was like you might think that we all probably did but don’t say it as a Man United say the first game against Arsenal when we beat them oh we believe we can beat anyone the way we perform now you just got egg on your face in the weeks that followed you’re not standing on anything preseason the message was we’ve had the best preseason everything’s fantastic I love the place three games in he’s like talking like the whole world’s ended he’s talking himself out of a job he needs to stop talking that would be the best thing that and he might even think it’s a tactic to to keep him in the job. You know, that personality, that charm, which I think United were initially uh endeared by. I think he might feel it as a a trait and equality. Him being honest and transparency is a step change away from how managers have spoke about in the past. Obviously, you know, there’s flare ups and there moments where the comments have been very similar to what Ammon said, but he is talking like someone who’s very fried at the moment. You know, his decision- making mustn’t be mustn’t be in the right place. And if that’s the case, you know, when you’re leading Man United, I just wonder, you know, how how how bad does it have to get in City? You know, we’re talking about him not wanting to walk away because of the financial, you know, the not getting the big payoff. Exactly. But how how bad does it get before he goes actually this could be really damaging for future opportunities and future roles that you know I know you you’re managing Man United and you you know you’ve you’ve shown that you’ve been successful elsewhere but when does the SL I think I think he’ll have enough credit in the bank from his days at Sporting where I think and I think yeah and I think people look at United as a team that just everyone’s almost failed there in the last kind of decade players and managers and almost kind of go you know it’s more of a culture of the club it’s more of a club thing than than the head coach potentially, but that that might still play into his decision making. Yeah. You know, because whether that’s the whatever the reality is is relevance. It’s it’s how if he’s being buckled by the pressure, you start thinking of all sorts then you think how this is going to affect me, how’s it going to affect my future employment. Just one more thing. There’s many many things to analyze here at Man United. Um he’s been in the club now for what six to eight months and it’s been an absolute disappointment. I cannot understand the six to eight months into his reign that at no point has looked to even change the formation and tinker the formation and try and adapt to something a little bit different. I’m a tactical genius, but every time you watch Man United, they are just completely overrun in midfield, outnumbered in midfield. And I kind of got it at first that he comes to this country with a new idea, new identity and wanted to stick with it and implement it. But we are now six to eight months into the reign and it’s getting worse and worse and he’s still going with the same formation, same formation, short in midfield with a copy man who sat on the bench, a guy that was starting the European Championship final for England sort of a year ago and doing the same thing and almost playing the same way and getting beat every single weekend. Playing playing the back five and conceding every week is clearly not good enough. Like there is a couple of exceptions. You look at Atlanta and you look at Inter Milan when they play three at the back. That’s a systemic reason typically because we had this at Arsenal under Mikuel Artton towards the end of Wenger. Like when you play a back three or back five, you don’t trust your defenders. You do not trust your host. You don’t trust the whole system. And if it’s if he’s really been here seven, eight, nine months and we’re still saying the same things. It appears the writing’s on the wall. But for Man United, call you get rid of the manager. What’s changing? Yeah. Really, what is going to change? Yeah. And the other thing is, and maybe it says more about the actual division, but one of the markets I like a lot is the top five finish. You’ve got obviously you got Liverpool and Arsenal. You’ve got City and Chelsea and who finishes in that fifth spot and Man United are the favorites to finish in the fifth spot which I know some of that is to do with the amount of people who want to back Man United because they were bigger price early in the season but who you know what you got? You got Man United, you got Tottenham, Newcastle, Villa, Brighton maybe after today comfortably. Another dark horse that’s not mention but Man United are still being talked about in that way. So, we’re talking about, you know, it doom and gloom, but actually, but until last season, they’ve always found a way on AM on DAB, via the Talk Sport app, and on your smart speaker. Talk Sport.

Fair dos talk sport talk so much shite
U guys are pathetic
We're above Man City nothing concerning at all. We're one keeper away from a top 7 side ✌🏼
win is a win
Breaking news! Team celebrates victory. Talksh**e strikes again.
Allow them celebrate for heaven sake. These guys are working hard. They're allowed to celebrate their wins. No matter how small the outer world thinks the win is
Sick of this bullsh
we need the bourmonth manager really ????
Well we're still only 2 points behind the mighty Arsenal
DESPERATION!?
When Manchester United lose it’s PATHETIC but when they win it’s a DESPERATION!
This panel should be ASHAMED of themselves.
DISGRACEFUL PANEL!
Even tho we are💩 right now the obsession with United is off the Richter scale .
No celebrating then? 😂😂😂 wtf is this lot on about
That scouser accent is like finger nails on a chalk board.
Man city just lost ? Why don’t talk about pep ? 😂😂😂😂😂😂 you know why ? ???????
3 games in and still the talk of the town. Just wait until it all clicks, we are seeing signs already, the season is long.
Jealousy everywhere
How is celebrating a last minute winner after a frustrating period concerning..honestly people are so annoying
Just say you didn't watch/concentrate at all on the game lads.
What a pair bellends . Typical crab louser
If you're not allowed to celebrate a last minute winner then what can you do ?. Did Liverpool celebrate a last minute winner at Newcastle last week ?. Yes ofcourse they did. United are above city and are only behind arsenal cause the goalkeeper couldn't catch a cold. The media hate united so much it unreal.
If these pundits were Man Utd fans they won't say this tr**h… obviously they can't stand Utd winning so it's bad market for them.
Man City just lost a game. No body talks about them or the amount of money they spent on players who are failing to turn them into a dominant team. Should there be a measure of how players should celebrate?
What a total prick this bloke is
Now you are all laughable as this is what Arsenal have been doing for ghe past couple of seasons !!!
Talk shite got me again… 🙄
None of these bellends have ever kicked a ball ffs
talk sh££ everyday
These cretins ! 🤣 They will always find something negative to say. At the End of the Day, Burnley earned their spot in the premier League and a fellow new team in Sunderland has beaten 2 Premier League Teams already ! Finally, our celebration was never really about Burnley. It's about breaking that winless cycle, and approaching our next game with more confidence. So cretins, rest and talk about City losing to Brighton.
They deserved a lap of honour.
Points after GW 3 in the premier league:
Ruben Amorim: 4
Pep Guardiola: 3
Eddie Howe: 2
Marco Silva: 2
Unai Emery: 1
Guess which manager has been under significant pressure with his future at the club constantly questioned.
Burnley are on their level or slightly above. The celebrations are warranted
I always listen to Talksport when I'm cleaning. My word….I stopped and was like wow all these guys have a sound understanding of football. Great Panel!!! It's been a while where I got to just sit and listen to people on this show with honest and insightful views with no agenda or bias. Keep this panel, they were all great!
To think we almost got this guy instead of Slot. Looks like we dodged a massive bullet🤣🤣🤣
Champions🏆
There is nothing wrong with celebrating a winning goal, no matter who you play against. Well done to Brighton for beating Man City
You're all just seagulls following a trawler. Pathetic.
Social media fans are the dregs of society. Sat in a studio instead of going to a game. Fannies.
I remember Kloop and the Liverpool players acted like they won a title when they tied with Sunderland 😂 of course with 2 Premier titles WELL 😂
The attention the media gives Man Utd is insane… They cant do right for doing wrong. Celebrate a last minute winner, and still they get this. Just leave them alone man. Like bullying an addict, trying to keep them down when theyre trying to climb up.
I tip my hat to talksport. I never thought they could get 3 complete morons on the same show, and they’ve gone and done it. impressive stuff.
British Media – “every game in the premier league is tough”
Also British Media- “ How dare Bruno celebrate a last minute winner in the premier league”
Clowns.
Who tf are these people? 😂
Spurs lose, Arsenal lose, City lose (and are behind United)
Yet this is the discussion…never change Talksport, never change 😂😂
Who these “experts “ please tell me if they haven’t any professional knowledge ???
As a United fan the celebration to beat Burnley was in the top 3 most embarrassing moments in United history, after losing to Grims fish and 7 0
Desperation. Not really. It’s called football! United could’ve clearly been 4-0 up at half time. It’s how games turn out sometimes….United were the deserved winners.
What would your narrative been if they didn't celebrate and just walk off…. 'Embarrassing, the players don't care'
Come on Talk Sport you are better than this (actually, no, you probably aren't)
