to be ridden like a lot of yours today by Ryan Moore. What’s the news on Ryan? Yeah, Ryan is good. Um, obviously he’d been struggling with his right leg uh since after the Irish derby and he was getting a lot of stuff done to it and trying to keep it right obviously like Ryan would and uh um they thought a lot different things were going on in it and burst at the back of his knee and muscles and ligaments and all that, but he had a scan yesterday and uh when they did the scan they found a fracture in his femur. So um obviously when they found that then obviously Ryan had no choice but just just to give it time and that’s the way it’ll be. So um he like obviously I don’t know how long he’ll be whether it’ll be one month, two months, 3 months, whatever but Ryan will know when it’s right. He’ll obviously probably get scanned every week or two to see how it’s healing and uh we’ll go from there. So listen, it’s it’s far from a problem but it’s just going to obviously take him a bit of time to get right and um that’s the way it is. In your heart of hearts, are you resigned to budgeting without him maybe for a lot of these big races? I I would say so, Gary. Like obviously like he his femur is the biggest bone in your body and he can’t take any chance with that. They said he was very lucky that it didn’t break. Um uh because uh it was it was that bad. It was I think the grade fractures on a 1, two, three, four and uh um his was a four. So um amazing man really uh that um he was able to keep going with it. Um I think when he went to Germany, he rode a Philly for us in Germany and she whipped around going to the start and Ryan landed on his feet. So that might have aggravated it and opened it up on him, you know. So uh but like obviously he he had no no choice. Um but obviously he wanted to find out exactly what was happening and that’s what he did and it’s 100% the right thing. So time and he’ll be back. Have you had a chance to speak to him much? But what’s his ex? No, Ryan is perfect. He’s professional man. Um obviously he’s made a concrete and uh and that just proves it. So he’ll be back and uh like I said time will back and on we go. You’ve got lots of good jockeyies to call on. Wayne Lord won the derby for you this year. Of course. Is Wayne going to be the main man now? Uh Wayne obviously Wayne is in obviously at the moment he’s off for Champions weekend. So uh obviously we’ve like listen we’ll work away and do our best and that everyone will row in and we’ll play it day by day. So hopefully you look reasonably relaxed about it there I say.
