I take the PXG Wildcat Set on course. This 10 piece premium package set isn’t cheap, but it sure is easy to hit.

On today’s video, we’re going to continue our exploration of what I think is like a new product category in golf. At least it’s something that I have really never seen before. Earlier this year, I tried out a premium package set from Sticks, and now we’ve got a premium package set offering from PXG. This is their Wildcat set. It’s a 10 piece set. You’ve got a driver, a fivewood, six hybrid, and then you’ve got seven down to wedge, and a putter. Really nice putter to boot, by the way. And today we’re going to take them out on course and we’re going to set ourselves an overunder of plus two. Hopefully I can shoot plus two or better with this Wildcat set. This is definitely a game improvement set. I would say these irons are definitely leaning towards the super game improvement area. You can buy them separately. We’re testing them as a set here today. Let’s take a closer look. All right, so here you go. Here’s the makeup of this set. 10 piece set as I mentioned. Let’s take a look at here at the driver first. Now, first thing I notic is the head covers are decent quality. They’re not going to be quite as premium as PXG’s premium drivers. They’re top-of-the-line drivers, but they’re a lot better than almost every other package set I’ve ever tried. Nice and soft. They look like they’ll stand up to the test of time as well for the most part. Now, here’s our driver. As you can see here, there’s not much adjustability going on. No exterior weighting, anything like that. There’s also no adjustability in the hoszle. What it is, though, is 16°, which is more like a 3-wood in terms of loft. It’s going to make it very easy hopefully to get that ball up in the air. I love the little alignment. All PXG clubs carry this over. This is a nice clean look at a dress. And while it’s oversized, it’s not crazy oversized. And you’ve got this striping here towards the back. All just kind of really suits your eye in terms of alignment. Deep face. Again, built for forgiveness this one. Now, this shaft on here that I’ve got it paired with is a Denali 60 g stiff shaft. This is not the stock standard shaft in the set. But what makes it really nice from PXG is you can customize this just like any set of clubs. In fact, you can get fitted for this package set. And I I don’t think I’ve ever said that about any other package set. So, I literally sent them my specs. I know this is a good shaft for me. And they fit it to this driver head. Something you can do with PXG you cannot do anywhere else. Nice PXG branded grip on there as well. The other thing I forgot to mention about this shaft is it’s not as long as a standard shaft. It’s more like a 3-wood. And again, it’s going to really be all about control. Now they round the set out here with a fivewood. Really nice looking club as well. Again, no adjustability, but nice deep face. Again, Denali shaft on it. And rather than starting the irons at sixiron like most brands do, they actually give you a six hybrid. I think this is a great addition. This is going to get you out of trouble. It’s going to be easy to hit. Again, nice deep face to this club. Really a great call from PXG. Now, the irons are very oversized. I would put these in the super game improvement category, but very high quality. If you’ve seen a PXG iron, this looks as premium as that. Doesn’t look like they’ve cut any corners here with the Wildcat. Big sole here. Again, all about forgiveness. May be not as easy through the turf to get through, but it’s going to really slide under in the fairways. It’s going to be easy for a beginner. There’s some relief there towards the back of this club. It’s a big thick top line, but a gentle amount of offset for this type of club, which I like. I’ve got this paired again with a shaft that’s fit for me. Not the standard shaft you’re going to get in the set, but this is a KBS Tour 120 and you can get fit for any shaft you’d like. These irons come in the seven down through a pitching wedge and they also include a sand wedge that matches as well. Again, ton of bounce down here to slide the club underneath and you’re not going to get hung up in the turf. Nice deep grooves, big wide striking surface. It’s going to be hopefully killer. Now, there’s one more club here to round out the bag. This is a good one. This is about as premium of a putter as you’re going to ever see in a package set. This is the Black Hawk. It actually has a pickup pocket so you can actually pick a ball out of this to make it easy. It’s got tungsten weights here at the toe and heel. It’s got a pyramid face which PXG is known for. Beautiful big thick alignment there to this mallet style. It’s also a plumber’s neck in style and it comes with a fantastic oversized grip. This is a premium putter. This is a putter you’ll never have to change out of this set. It’s that good. So, really high quality. You’re paying a premium price. This set stock standard is going to run you $14.99. So, it is on the high end of package sets. And again, it’s this new product category that we’re starting to see here in 2025. But could be a winner. We’re going to take it out on course now, play some golf, and see what it can do. First up is a par five. Is a dog leg right. The longest hole we’re actually going to play here today. And that wind is actually into me here. So, we’re going to get a real taste of the Wildcat driver here first. I’ll tell you what, looking down at it, it’s absolutely draw biased. So, this is great for more of a high handicap or a beginner who struggles with hitting that slice. This is going to be more of an anti-slice driver. Now, the unfortunate thing for me is I am uh if anything struggle with drawing it too much and hooking it. So, I’m actually going to take more of a fade swing here with this shot and probably all day here today to kind of counteract that. See if we can get off the T- box good here to start. [Music] Started left side of that fairway. It’s going to end in that first cut. It was drawn just a little bit. Even though I took a bit of a fade swing, I just didn’t quite give it enough. Feelwise. Felt good. Soundwise loud and a little tingy. We are just in the first cut. Not too far off the fairway, but we are in a not the greatest of lies. This is a good chance, I think, to hit a hybrid. Hybrid is going to be a club that can get you out of tough lies. That’s what makes it really nice. Very versatile club. We’re not going to get a ton of distance out of a six hybrid. We’re going to get hopefully a forgiving shot and hopefully get us out of this rough. We just want to get back in play. Oh, it came out nice little draw on it. We’re back in play. That felt great again. Woods often the let down when it comes to package sets, and I don’t think that’s the case in any way, shape, or form here with the Wildcats. That’s really exciting to see. One other thing I should show you too, by the way, they’ve all got magnets on them, which is really cool. So, you can keep your head cover up here. I think that’s a little nice touch. 174 is the number. I was going to say first crack at pulling out one of these irons, but into this wind. I don’t even know if I can get us an iron there. So, the iron I think is going to have to wait for the next hole. I’m going to go back to that six hybrid. I think this is going to be the right club for this shot now. Tough shot. Oh, because there’s a bunker guarding that pin that’s cut on the right side there. way up a mile high in the air, which is going to land nice and soft. It did land soft, but it landed short of the green. There’s just so much wind up there. So, we’re going to now put the wedge to the test. You actually get two wedges in the set. You get a pitching wedge, and then you get a sand wedge. I like to chip around the greens of the sand wedge. So, that’s going to be the play. Now, the one little caveat here today is I’m actually shooting two videos in one. So, I’m going to be playing a PXG putter, but it’s not the putter that comes in this set. The putter that comes in the set, as I mentioned, an excellent one. I’ve used that putter before. And as a package set goes, that’s the best putter going for my money. Even better than the Odyssey White Hot you get in the Costco edge set. Certainly a lot better than what you get in the stick set in the Hogan set, which those two putters aren’t my favorites at all. Very high quality putter. Good as anything. It’s a $200 value, I would say. But today, we’re going to be using a different putter because I’m shooting two videos at once. So, forgive me for that. All right. So, fourth shot here. We’re going to save par. I’ve got to get up and down. [Applause] Oh, baby. It checked up really good. Oh, we got a chance. Save our par. Very makeable, I think. Yes, sir. All right, we saved our par here. Like I said, not the putter in this set, but man, if you haven’t seen this line of PXG putters, this zero torque line, could be your first upgrade to the set when you’re ready for it. It’s going to help that distance of putt in particular really stay online a lot better and I think you’re going to have a better make percentage with this line from PXG. We’re heading now. We’re going to have a win with us which is going to be a welcomed sight. Pretty straightaway par4 here. We’ll take this uh drive around again and see if we can make some magic with it. The other thing about this driver that I mentioned up front was it is a higher launching driver. 16° makes it very easy to get the ball up in the air for you beginners. But uh again for my swing I’ve got to make some adjustments. So, last time I tried to play that cut shot. This time I’m going to just try to play a little bit more of my stock standard swing. And uh I’m actually going to aim a little further right at that bunker. So, we’re aiming at the trouble. Hope it goes away from the trouble. But, let’s see what we do here with shot two with the driver. That’s much better. Nice tight draw coming right back to center. So, I know that I can groove that swing in. I think going to be easy for you to get the ball up in the air with this 16° driver. But that is something also down the line you may want to move to one of PXG’s drivers, another driver out there on the market where you got some more adjustability. You’ve got some more options when it comes to shaft loft, that sort of thing. There’s unfortunately no adjustability here in the tip, which would make this a more long range investment for you. I think it would have been a nice inclusion from PXG, but there’s always going to be some trade-offs in a package set. But we are dead middle of this fairway. Tell you how far I hit that shot, too. Just so you know, I’ve got my Garmin here to tell us. You can get all the golf technology I use on this channel at Play Better, our show sponsor, and I’ll leave a link down below. 216 is the number. 16° driver, remember? So, I think that is plenty. I’ve got 164 in. Now, I had about the same back on that last hole, but there’s a big difference with this wind here today. I think I can get there with an eight iron, with this wind, and it’s my first swing with these irons. I’m excited. We’ll see how they feel. Tight little draw. I was hoping for a little more draw actually and I hit the edge of the bunker and actually bumped in there. I expected probably a little more draw and it’s good that it actually stayed a little straighter. Being a game improvement club, you want to prioritize straightness over workability any day of the week. It was also not like my best strike, but it got up in the air very easy. Certainly going to be a forgiving iron, and we’ll continue to test that here today. But we’re going to have to test the sand wedge here once again in the sand and see if we can make it two for two getting up and down. All right, I’d say medium challenging bunker shot here because I don’t have a ton of green to work with. If you’re a beginner wanting to hit a sand shot, ideal is to really open that face up. And when you do that, you need to actually turn your body left of target because if you can see that when I open that face up, the more I open it up, the more that club face turns. So, I’m going to turn my body and I’m going to aim about an inch behind the sand and just try to have the sand lift this out of here. I also play it towards the front of my foot here as well, just again to make sure I get down into the sand behind the ball. All right, let’s see if we can save our par here. Stay there. Yes. Woo! All right, so I feel very good about getting up and down twice in a row here with the Wildcat set. Now, this is again a more challenging par4. It’s a little longer. It’s also a little more narrow than many of the holes here today. So, I’ve got to be consistent. I’m not going to try to overswing. I’m just going to try to hit that same shot shape I hit on the last hole. Oh, I hit that one a little more toeside. I’m getting a lot more draw again. Draw bias driver here. That’s going to happen if I’m not careful. So, I hit a tree actually, but it seemed to drop straight down. There’s going to be a lot of balls over there because this is the range. Sometimes I play a yellow ball on this hole because I can spot it very easily. It happened to me yesterday, in fact, and we were able to find it. Hopefully, we find this one. All right. Well, found the ball. You can’t say I’m in great shape. I’m not going to try to be a hero here. I’m just going to take my medicine and get us out and back into position. Seven iron in hand. Just punching out. All right. I didn’t quite get it to the fairway, but we’re safely in range for a approachable shot. I’m going to keep the same seven iron in hand. I’ve got about 160 here to this pin. Just going to take a nice smooth swing. Came out left on me. Just rough often times grabs the club and it happened right there. When you’ve got a thicker sole like this, it happens a little easier. And I should have made an adjustment there. I didn’t. So, we’re going to be laying three in the bunker. And if we’re going to avoid a double bogey, which I really do not want to put on the scorecard, I’ve got to hit a world class bunker shot here. All right, I’m pretty close to the lip of this bunker. I think I’ve got just enough room again. I’m going to open that club up as wide as possible. Open my body up. Let the dirt hopefully do the work. Oh, that was good. Sit. Oh man, that was nice. Woo! That hurt. And uh I’ve got to make up some strokes very quick. We’ve got a par five, which normally I’d be very confident on, but we’re so dead into the wind. Conditions today very challenging and I need to keep the ball low. With a 16° driver for my game, it’s tougher. Again, this is going to be a great driver for someone who needs to get the ball up in the air, but that’s not my problem, unfortunately. Anyways, enough excuses. We got to try to get some birdies if we’re going to break that over under. And hopefully we start quick. I’ll see this one lower to keep it under the wind a bit. Oh yes, that’s perfect. It’s a very good feeling driver. Sound again, not my thing with this particular driver, but feel and results, that’s more important. Anyways, all right. Well, we’re in a fairway. It’s nice to be in one, but I’m still 280 out. I am going to try the fivewood. This is going to be the one other wood here in the set. This is a 19° 5wood. Perfect club for a beginner. Beginners and high handicappers probably should not be playing three-woods. It’s a much harder club to hit. A fivewood is going to be a little deeper, so you got more room there on the face. It’s also going to have a little bit more mass for the MOI and really just launch the ball considerably higher than a 3-wood would. Easy to hit. I pulled it, but easy to hit. Okay. Well, after a not a great swing, we’re in the rough. Tree right in our way. I got to keep it low. I’m only 135 out, but we’re going to hit a seven iron and again just kind of hit more of a punch shot and just hope I get it near this green or hopefully on the green. Came out great. See if we can get it all roll up there close. Okay, so I’m 25 to 30 yards from this pin. And what what I’m going to do is play a bump and run. This is a shot. It’s an easy shot for a beginner to play for the most part. I’m going to use a 9 iron. You can use a 9 iron, a wedge, sometimes even an eight iron. I’m going to put that ball in the back of my stance and I’m just going to almost like I’m putting it. I don’t want to release my hands and twist them over. I want to keep my hands in front of the club. The club face should be trailing. Just again hit it like a putter. See if I can pull it off. Man, that came out hot. So, we had what they call a fringe boost there. I thought that shot was going to be perfect, but uh we’re going to do it again. We’re going to hit that same type of shot, but I got to take a little off obviously. But again, very easy chip shot to hit and it’s going to keep you in the game. All right. If I’m going to avoid a backto-back double bogey, which on a par five is a sin, I’ve got to make this putt. Stay up. Nope. I didn’t give it enough. The putt’s breaking much more than this course normally does. After a couple rounds of aation, it’s really starting to break on me. All right. So, we surrender a second double bogey in a row, which uh it’s going to make this very I don’t want to say impossible cuz nothing’s impossible, but it’s going to make this very, very difficult. If the birdies don’t come quick and often, we’re not going to hit our overunder. All right, I am dialing the driver in. It’s definitely a shorter driver, but at 16°, it’s a 3-wood in terms of uh loft. 125 is my number in here. What I’m going to do is flight a 9 iron. When I mean flight for you beginners is I’m going to try to keep it low. All right, under the wind as much as possible. You hit a little extra club. Again, you play a little further back in your stance and you try to keep it under the wind. That’s a good one. All right. It’s nice to be walking up with just one club in my hand, the putter today. I think it’s the first time I’ve done it. It’s a long birdie putt, but it’s it’s a chance. Anyways, you got to be an optimist in golf. All uphill all the way. Mostly breaking left to right, I think. Oh my gosh. I thought that was in. I really thought that was in. I almost want to wait here for a gust of wind. Come on, wind. No, it’s not going to do it. Oh, it’s a shame that in golf these putts count the same as a 300 yard drive, but it is what it is. All right, so we got one more hole and then I’m going to talk about my pros and cons of these clubs. I’m also going to give you some rankings here on this set as well. All right, now we’re on a temporary tea here at Carowwood because they’re resurfacing. They’re almost there. We’re going to be opening up the tea boxes soon, but 132 is going to be the number. I’m going to hit the pitching wedge and hopefully we finish strong. Maybe the best shot of the day. It’s good to end on a high note. We got a birdie chance. Maybe we’ll get one back after all. All right, so let’s talk about the pros and cons of these clubs. Pros, the major standout for me is just how easy these clubs are to hit. I’ve really dialed that driver in as this day has gone on. All of them are easy to hit. I haven’t hit them well, which is a combination of conditions and the guy swinging, but easy easy to get up in the air. You’re not going to find much of an easier club out there. Certainly super game improvement is where I’d put these clubs. And a couple other things I really like about this club is I love the makeup of this set. I think this for 10 pieces, they’ve really nailed it. not including a 3-wood, which most package sets do. Great idea having a five and a six hybrid. Great idea. Again, especially if you’re um an older golfer getting into the sport, you’re going to need a little bit more distance. That six hybrid is going to be a lot easier to hit than a sixiron. Fantastic putter they put in this set as well. Let’s talk about a couple things that maybe for me are just a little bit of a hang-up. We talked about how these are a super game improvement club. The one thing about that means this is not going to necessarily be a set with longevity. Now, of course, you can peacemeal, especially if you’re in the PXG world, a new driver, a new set of wedges, new irons eventually. And I think you’re going to have to do that though with this particular set sooner than you would with other package sets. Some other package sets are more game improvement focused. So, maybe not as easy to hit, but also going to last you a little bit longer and serve you a little bit longer. So, it’s a yin and a yang, and it’s a balance here. But, uh, that would be one kind of bigger drawback that I see with this set. The other drawbacks that, you know, I would have liked to have seen would be a little adjustability in that driver. Again, it would make it a driver you could use for longer in your career if you could turn that down to 12 1/2°, something like that. And the last sort of drawback here is going to be the price. This is an expensive set of golf clubs. Basically, you’re averaging $149. You’re getting a premium product without a doubt, but it’s on the higher end. Certainly, when it comes to package sets, we have four $500 package sets out there and some even a little cheaper than that. Qualitywise, this is going to beat it far and away, but you’re going to pay the price. All right, now let’s go ahead and just give these clubs an actual ranking. Now, I have five criteria that I rank clubs on. Distance is the first one for me. Distance is about a four here with this set. Overall, I don’t think it’s a set built for distance. I think it’s again a set built to get it up in the air easy and, you know, make contact. Distance is absolutely secondary. And I think that’s why four is a fair score. When it comes to forgiveness though, very, very high. Five out of five I think for forgiveness and ease of use. Just getting that ball up in the air. I hit some bad shots. I pulled a few, especially there towards the end. I’m just getting a little tired. This is not my only round of golf here today. I think they forgive the sins that you’re going to commit as a beginning golfer out there. Now, when it comes to workability, it’s not what these clubs are about. Workability is, you know, shaping your shots, controlling that trajectory. I was able to do it, though. You saw me hit some flighted shots there. That nine iron in particular stands out. And I was able to move the ball a little bit if I needed to, but it’s not what it’s all about. All right. Right. So, workability is going to be lower. We’ll call that a three and a half out of five. When it comes to aesthetics, looks, feel, sound. The drivers in the woods nail it with the one caveat of the sound being a little high pitched. Okay. But looks wise, beautiful. I mean, if you walk up as a beginner with this set to your course, you’re going to look like a million bucks. All right. So, aesthetically, excellent. In terms of sound and feel, excellent as well. So, strong strong contender. Four and a half out of five. In terms of the aesthetics, they really nail it at PXG. They’re a design focused brand. And I mean, they’re into fashion, that whole thing as well. Now, when it comes to value, again, I’m on the fence here. On one hand, extremely good build quality for what you’re paying here, but you’re paying a hefty price, and if you don’t get the longevity out of these clubs, like I don’t think you’ll have for a long time. Not that they won’t hold up. Again, they’ll hold up, but the fact that you’re going to maybe grow out of them, it makes it a very difficult score for me. The fairest score I can give this is three and a half out of five, which again does not go to the quality of the club. It goes more to the longevity of the club, but I think that’s my off-thecuff fair assessment here today. I’ve really enjoyed these clubs. I think again PXG has done an incredible job making a premium product. I think this is a product that you’re not going to see as prolific as some of the other sets we’ve reviewed, but for a beginner who wants ease of use, it’s not going to get a whole lot easier than this set. We’ll see if we can uh finish strong here. My score hasn’t been the greatest, but I’ve had a lot of fun. Let’s go. All right. So, yeah, great shot in. Nice stopping power here, too, as an aside. Again, not necessarily what you expect out of a super game improvement club, but uh it checked up pretty well. And we’ve got a really good opportunity to finish strong. Oh, right here. Right here. It just decided to straighten out on me, man. All right. Well, I absolutely enjoyed it. Hope you did, too. The driver specs, PXG must have been listening to Rick Shiels suggestions for a beginners driver 👍🏻
I am glad that companies are putting more thought into packages sets. An idea.. maybe a comparison of the callaway XR set and the PXG set since they are at the same price point. Also the new PXG ZT putter looks amazing!! It’s also on sale at the moment from 249 to 199. lol. I am looking into a long Clevland CB putter. That 16 degree driver seems a bit much. It might been better at a 12 degree.
Love your vids but why do you add those silly sound effects on your driver shots?
Damn 1499.00 for a super game improvement set is kinda crazy
Wow Those are big/wide clubs
Best investment for beginners is a bargain set (Wilson). You know when you start golf, after 1,5 years you want a more advanced material, therefore 1500,- is imo too much.
Find secondhand set in good shape for $500 and spend 1000 on lessons and range balls. Golf instruction is an absolute necessity for most beginners.
They on sale right now
Nope. Way out of my price range.
1500$ for a beginner’s game improvement set? To spend that much you must know you are going to love playing as much as possible.
I like the latest PXG putters.
$1500 for beginner set. I got less than that invested in my set and I even have a golf cart that follows you.
They seem like a great set for someone who isnt worried about the money, but wants to look cool with their clubs while learning to swing.
My gut says that it's a very very small market, but I'm sure pxg did the market research to justify the product.
Great video, PXG always makes clubs that suit my eye visually but it's hard to justify so many trade offs at near 200$ a club after taxes and shipping etc. The driver not being adjustable and being 16 deg seems like such an odd club in anyone's bag. The 0211's are 199$ on the site right now, this seems like a no brainer to just include one of those instead. the 5 wood to 6 hybrid to 7 iron is also a huge miss for me. Give me a 5 wood, 4 hybrid and 5 thru P. Why are we reinventing the bag for beginners? Putters a 9/10 though.
Your first drive looked launched, Gabe.
Gabe, do you have any concerns with the club layout in some of these package sets being very non traditional from the normal 14 club bag? IE a 6 hybrid and a 16 degree driver, pretty rare clubs to see in a bag, no 5 or 6 iron etc. I have concerns about the difficulties that might come with wanting to start building your bag out with a more standard club selection once a purchaser of this gets to that point. You swap the driver, you now have 3 clubs from max distance to 175 yards; Driver, 5 wood, 6 hybrid. Then under the 110 range you have 1 club available in the set… I don't want to stay its setting them up for failure, but there are clubs beginners REALLY need to get use too that aren't in this bag that will be a whole new learning curve once they purchase them. Long irons, open faced wedge shots, full wedge shots, they ARE TOUGH, but the sooner a beginner starts practicing those shots, the better IMHO.
Workability needs to be no higher than a 2 based on your playing comments and results. No shame in that. They do what they're designed to do. If they were highly workable they'd be terrible for a beginner.
IMO That PXG are fugly and will never go in my bag no matter how good they ma be.
PXG is such a great American company with a great American patriot owner. No matter what. But, this set isn’t financially reasonable for a lot of people who could benefit from them.
Buy used for a beginners set. 300.00 – 500.00 for a name brand at a pawn shop (or less). I think my estimate is on the high end for used.
Bought these for my wife. We bought a used set for her first clubs. She had a set of Callaway Gems. This was her second set. This isn't what I would consider a beginner set. It isn't the cheapest but for the quality it's not a bad deal. They are comparable to A Reva or Kalea set. It comes with everything Gabe said and your choice of a bag, a hat, and balls as well. With the Hero's discount it was $1200. My wife absolutely loves them. She had never broken 100 before. Her 3rd time out with these clubs she shot a 90 (that has been her best score so far). These clubs were exactly what she needed because they are ridiculously forgiving. If you take your game seriously as Gabe said you will grow out of them quickly. The quality is top notch. My recommendation is if you are an older golfer that struggles with distance, have trouble getting the ball in the air, or a casual woman golfer these are amazing and can be worth the investment.
For beginners that is very expensive! I am pleased to see they include a 5 wood rather than a 3 wood.
If it sounds like it does in this video, that's the coolest sounding driver I've ever heard. I actually thought it was a sound effect done in post it sounds so crazy.
PXG got a set of these into the hands of the father of Andy Sullivan, the Average Golfer. Mr. Sullivan is well into his 80s. Watching Mr. Sullivan's amazement and delight with the results these clubs were giving him was very touching. He was executing shots he hadn't been able to do in years.
that price 😬
This guy is a complete sellout
Price, ehhhhhh. Set make up, ehh. Play ability, eh. Back to set make up, all these sets need a matching gap wedge, not just a sand wedge, everyone has or can find a good used sand wedge somewhere, but finding a matching gap wedge that's works with the gaping continuity of the set is very hard to do, IMO….eh. I would have loved to see you try the driver off the fairway, just for the heck of it, good video as usual, thank you.
How did you like that Vice Tracer golf ball?
The driver shaft crack just Five time hitting the ball
I just had my daughter fitted for the wildcat 5wood. 160 bucks with the hero price is awesome!
Im a high handicap golfer, to date, would you say the stix nicklaus to be the go to set to get?
Thinking about buying this as I am a beginner using a cheap used set from Facebook, my biggest hesitation is the ultra high loft on the driver. I do have a decent drive and would like to still be able to get some good distance on my shots
