Donald Trump has been spotted for the first time amid bizarre and rampant online rumors about the President.
The President’s possible demise became a trending topic that set social media ablaze. This came after Trump hadn’t been seen in public for two days, with conspiracy theorists pointing out his lack of weekend engagements – though this is entirely normal for any president.
Despite his absence from public appearances, Trump continued posting on Truth Social as recently as yesterday.
New photos have emerged showing Trump this morning alongside his granddaughter Kai Trump and grandson Spencer on the White House’s south lawn. They are slated to head to Trump National golf course in Sterling, Virginia later today.
These pictures corroborate a statement released by journalist Barak Ravid this afternoon, who quoted a ‘US official’ as saying: “Trump is OK. Will play Golf this morning.”
Health experts suggest the bruising could be connected to a recent cannula insertion – possibly indicating the president had undergone IV treatment for an undisclosed health matter. Press secretary Karoline Leavitt previously said Trump’s bruised hand was the result of “tissue damage from frequent handshaking” while taking aspirin. She added that this is “part of a standard cardio-vascular prevention regimen.”
Vice President JD Vance faced questions about his preparedness to take over Trump’s duties should a “terrible tragedy” happen.
In conversation with USA Today, Vance stressed the Commander-in-Chief was in outstanding health, though recognized such scenarios couldn’t be completely ruled out.
Conspiracy theories started flooding social media.
“He’s the last person making phone calls at night, and he’s the first person who wakes up and the first person making phone calls in the morning,” Vance said.
“Yes, terrible tragedies happen. But I feel very confident the president of the United States is in good shape, is going to serve out the remainder of his term and do great things for the American people.
“And if, God forbid, there’s a terrible tragedy, I can’t think of better on-the-job training than what I’ve gotten over the last 200 days.”
