Novak Djokovic going to be taking on Cam Nori. Great match up here at this year’s US Open. And guys, let’s be honest, if you’ve been following along so far here in the early parts, all of a sudden, you’re a little nervous if you’re on the side of team NovakJokovic, right? In round number one, there’s a whole thing with the blisters on the feet and getting it checked out. Round two, drop the first set and all of a sudden it’s like, oh no, here we go. Is he going to make a far run or not? I’d say pump the brakes here just a little bit, guys. The big thing with NovakJokovic, guys, he knows how to raise his game at the right time. I mean, just look at this year. Just take 2025 as an example. I get it. Yeah, no major championships of course, but still guys, he did make the semis of all the majors, right? The Australian Open, made the semis, lost to Alexander V. French Open, made the semis, lost to center. Same thing at Wimbledon. Guys, he’s been kind of right there. He just running into maybe guys that step in front of him. The question is going to be, is Cam Nory one of those guys that’s going to be a step in front of him? I will say, yes, Nory, veteran of the sport. I thought he had a very good showing at Wimbledon. Still has gas left in the tank here. Is he better than NovakJokovic is the question, guys. And I mean, come on. Are we really gonna deny the greatness of NovakJokovic? I get it. 2025 NovakJokovic is not the NovakJokovic that he was a few years ago. But guys, he still plays at at a high enough of a level, especially at the major championships. Again, all three majors this year, makes the semi-finals. Of course, last year, guys, he made a a Wimbledon final, won an Olympic gold medal. He could raise his game at the right times. I think he does that again here. Again, I get it. I I understand the side for caution. Hasn’t been the cleanest start to this year’s US Open. And I get it. Nori does still have gas at the tank. I know you can make the case for the upset here, but I’m not going to do it. I like NovakJokovic. Djokovic, guys, you know, well-rounded, great return game. We’ve seen it time and time again throughout his whole career. Again, not the same player he was a few years ago, but I think still good enough of player to get the job done and advance on in New York City. [Music]
