Beautiful golf course in Estes Park, Colorado. The Elk herds love to graze and hang out on the greens, just stay clear of the bull.

Mt Si GC in North Bend, WA built an elk fence around the entire property to keep them out.

Just dress as Santa. They’ll keep their distance. Out of respect.

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

Wow most people don’t know how big these animals are. My first encounter was in Colorado when a 6×6 ran across the front of our f250 . I was awe struck at the size . I didn’t know that they would graze in the open so comfortably. I guess they have adapted to their environment like our whitetail deer and Turkeys. Nice pic. Do they damage the course much? Geese are our only problem.

Local rules: free drop from the elk droppings.
