My favorite interview of the series so far by distance. Ticker. Ticker like how? And and he’s got a million dollar smile. You know he’s a deputy superintendent of police in Hyderabad. And in Hyderabad everyone will say Mia means this guy has bowled like a lion. He’s with a lion heart. He’s performed in this series. You know in test matches even where Bumra is not there. He’s given his heart out. And he’s a tryer from day one. I’ve seen him. He gives his everything. You bring him on in a third spell, he’ll bowl with the same kind of energy. And that what he’s developed now is the ball when he pitches it up is outswing. That will make him doubly dangerous because his stock delivery anyway will be a handful on this kind of surface. But what a try. I mean that spell a referred to that eight overs on the trot, you know, where you thought he’s going to be finished was tremendous. Fully invested you would say throughout. Great facials. Absolutely. And the type of cricketer I think that just makes other people rise up as well. We had one way back in my time, Darren Goff would just make people play better just because of the way they carried on in in the middle and in the dressing room actually. When the going gets tough, there are some characters that just grow a bit taller. He is one and everybody else will look at him. He’s a bit of a leader in the field. He’s not the captain obviously. He’s not wearing the armband, but he’s the guy they’re looking to when it go when the when it gets tough. Um, and therefore, he just makes other players play better in those moments. He’s got a good sense of humor, too. Terrific. And he’s he does it even when he’s having a go, he does it with a smile, so you don’t know where he’s coming from, you know, but he’s he’s feisty. He he’ll be in your face, you know, he doesn’t he’s not overroought by any opposition and and he’ll have a crack at anyone, you know, who’s batting out there. And with a little bit of luck, that 18 could have been 23 24 wickets in this series. The same in Australia. The numbers really don’t show, but uh little luck he can do wonders.
