Caleb Serat. He and McKibben have been excellent in the forsomes, but it’s pure stroke play today. And the grand final of the team championship is underway. And that’s a fabulous start for Caleb Surat. This young man made a lot of putts to put Legion 13 in this position in the Forsome match. Very good. Sarat for Birdie. Yeah, this kid left university so fast. I’m not sure his locker is empty whilst that was happening. Charles Hal the third put it for birdie at the first and the crushers have started brilliantly. Brandon Graves meanwhile has opened with a couple of pars. He likes that one better. That’s a beautiful shot. Just what he needed. At the same time, Tom McKibben played his second at two. [Music] Suan, you watched Dean Burmister at two. Yeah. Drove it to the right rub. That lie is not too bad. He’s got plenty of green to work with. And slopes back to front. What a shot. Well, Caleb Sarat has bedded the opening three. So has Charles Howell III. What a start. And then Brandon Grace did this at four. That looked like a jumpy line. Oh, what a shot from a mattered lie. Legion 13 have just stalled somewhat. Caleb Sarat as part of his last two. Likewise, John Ram stuck on nine under and it’s four back of Bryson’s crushes. Oh, there’s a beauty. Patton at eight. We have nine holes to play of the Live Golf Team Championship final. How will it end? This is Paul Casey. This is his second shot at the 10th and it looks like he’s over in the 11th T but it’s just fine as it turns out. Annaban Lehiri at 12. Can the Crushers get another birdie? It’s going to make it just and they are 15 under par. Prom with a lengthy bunker shot at 10. Yeah, two choices really. You can try to chunk and run it out there. Got to fly all the way. This for Paul Casey would give the Crushers a three shot lead. And this might be getting concerning for the other two teams. Paul Casey is five under par. Back on the tea rising to Shambo. Definitely one of the hardest T shots of the day. been pumping off the left now. This fairway slopes from left to right. Be looking for a kick to the right there if you can get it. You got it. That’s superb. Really difficult fairway to hit. And that’s Miles down there to 13. And a third shot for Charles Schwarzel. He must have found some trouble off the tea. He’s deep in the right weeds. Got lucky to get it to there. [Applause] Charles H how I at 13 for par. This could be vital. Oh boy, that’s one that you can hardly make. Now to the 12th and Louie. I think he he just flies his bunker by a few yards, lands it on the green a yard or two. That’s all he needs. He’s going to be really quick once it hits the green. [Music] Great shot. Good shot. Unless he does that. Terrell Hatton. Kind of an awkward angle to get at this flag at 13. It’s over just a little spur in the middle of the green. Birdie for Anaban and the Crushers are back to 17 under. Stinger needs something very special. Dean Burmister has just made a birdie there. First on the back nine at 13. This is Charles Schwarzel for Eagle at 14. Oh, it looks good. It is good. Honor Bonhiri. We saw him left of the 16th fairway getting a ruling. Played that through the trees to here. just now his third. That’s pretty well done out of the cabbage. Now Hatton his third. Just short of the green at 14 on the par five. There is that false front 10 15 ft short of this pin. [Music] Very good. Oh chest. [Applause] Paul Casey has reached the 15th T. [Music] Oh my goodness. [Applause] So close to the 13th ace in Live Golf League history. Caleb Serat has just missed the 17th fairway on the left. Oh, a great shot. Beautifully judged. Till Hatton is off the green at 15. A par three. Oh, that’s an amazing shot from where he was. [Music] Division 13 stay a shot behind Bryson Deep Shambo’s crushers. This is Anaban Lhiri at 18. His second shot. He got away with a bad T- shot there and wow, taking advantage of it. The Crushers now lead by two. [Applause] Charles Schwarzel. It’s a a rare bit of good news for Stinger on the back nine. That was to end his season with a birdie. Hit four under par. A round of 66 for Child. But Sting up way off the pace. Oh, there we go. Right when he needed to now surely this cannot be a driver for here. It looks like driver. Is it really? I think it is driver. It’s 380 front. He smoked it. finds the fairway and that will not be far short of the green. John Ram is next coming off 12 consecutive PS [Music] perfect. He knows he cannot land it short because it will spin too much on that wind. He spins it more than Bryson anyway. He’s got to get this past this flag no matter what. He’s going to get it close. That’s what he’s done. Oh yes. Still game on. This could be massive. Bryson for birdie at 17. [Music] Are you ready? Bryson at his brilliant best. They get to 19 under. Bryson is seven under par. They lead by two. Now, if John Ram had to pick one putt today that he’d like to make, it would be this one. And he has made virtually nothing up to this point. There it is. The captains are going to decide the destination of the 2025 Live Golf Team Championship on the 18th hole. Troll Hatton if he rolls in this birdie putt. Bryson Dambo and the crushers. John Ram and his lead in 13 will tee off at 18 dead level. Oh, Terrell tease up the most extraordinary climax here at the Cardinal. Legion 13 and the Crushers level on 19 under. The captains about to tee off at 18. Smoked it. Low penetrating flight. And they love it. Looks to me like he’s going low. He’s not making low. I don’t see I like that play. I don’t like the up as sure as it’s going to get back there. Well, that just heats untold amounts of pressure on Bryson Dambo. Well, he is a shorter shot, but is a slightly very slightly more awkward angle. Now, Dave, this is where he is really foul is around the green. That’s where the sevenyd gets. It’s too hard. Oh wow. I guess he can. Two of the greatest players on the planet going toe to toe with everything on the line for their teams. Now Bryson to take the team championship to a playoff. Legion 13 and the Crushers cannot be separated. The team contest has come down to a playoff between the number one seeds Legion 13 led by John Rahm who’s picked Tier Hatton as his compadre against the number two seeds the Crushers Dambo and Casey. [Music] That’s four perfect T- shots. Sir Hassan next. All right. Can Bryson make birdie and put all the pressure on Tier Hatton? Dammo delivers and it’s over to Chirill Hatton to take us to a second playoff hole or the Crushers will be crowned champions. Oh, he’s hold it. It crept in the left side of the hole and we go again. Back to the 18th T. There’s not a breath of wind out here. [Music] Smoked. That wasn’t the enormous one. No, but it’s pretty impressive. A controlled 190 mph ball speed. [Music] Oh, how good is he? How good is he? Stellar Ram. Well, when the big prizes are there to be won in the closing moments of the season, John Ram has delivered. They need something extraordinary here. The Crushers, they had a lead of five. Partway through this enthralling final. Legion 13 came roaring back at the end to force this playoff. Now it’s Paul Casey. This has to go. Gave it a good run. John Ram for the win. What a week for John Ram. Well, they’re going to let Terrell finish out. Hatton the hero and John Rams. Legion 13 have crossed the Rubicon, entered the coliseum at the Cardinal and they have conquered the Live Golf League. John Ron came into the Live Golf League for the 2024 season. He won the title in his first year. He defended his title in the second year. And now he’s led this young Legion 13 franchise to glory in the Live Golf League Team Championship. [Music]
