Pace of play was just over 3 hours

15 and I don’t play the back tee because I only drive it 230-250, but I could easily keep pace from the back. Slow pace is more people not being ready to hit their shot when they’re up than how long of a tee they play from.

I used to play fast and bad. Congrats to
Anyone who can play a 3 hour round and shoot a good score.

My wife and I are about a year in to golfing and I don’t understand this. We are both hacks (I shoot high 90’s,she’s around 110) and aside from from a few rounds I’ve played with friends on weekends, I’ve never seen these horrible backups. We get around on a fairly busy course on a weekday in under three hours. Being retired, I can easily avoid the busiest hours but what is the main cause of this? I know it can’t be poor play alone because we’ve only had to let someone play through two times. Is it lack of etiquette, poor course management or a combination of both? It just seems like common sense to be aware of what’s going on around you.

I’d play on the ladies tees if my friends would let me, and not make it their life goal to humiliate me about it.

How long is the course? This screams 6300 tips

If I paid to play your course, I’ll tee off from whatever tee box I want. Grandma can still play slow AF from the women’s tees. Tee placement has little to do with it.

I watch dudes stare down a 7ft putt for double bogey for 5 minutes before missing wide right. Fuck outa here with where I should tee off.
