Sung Hyun Park reflects on her round at the 2025 The Standard Portland Classic, highlighting the growing comfort in her ball striking and putting. The former world No. 1 emphasized how her recent preparation, including a tournament in Korea and a focused month of training, has helped her feel more consistent across all areas of her game.

Park also shared her appreciation for the Columbia Edgewater layout, noting it’s her 7th or 8th time playing the course. While she enjoys its beauty, she admits that the finishing stretch—especially holes 16 through 18—presents a real challenge, particularly with firm greens and demanding tee shots.

오늘 플레이하면서 어떤 부분이 좀 잘됐는지 나는 계속 요새 연습하면서 샷이나 퍼트감이 굉장히 좋았는데 이번 경기도 그렇게 생각대로 잘 됐어요. 샷이 너무나 자신감이 있었고 또 퍼팅도 지금 굉장히 자신감이 있고 편한 스트로크가 잘 나와요. 그래서 어 잘한 거 같습니다. [음악] 토스에서 마음에 드는 점이 있는지 뭐 좋아하는 홀들이 있는지 일단은 제가 여기는 어 계속 뭐 7, 8년 정도 플레이한 코스라서 너무 편하고요. 어 코스가 일단 너무 예뻐요. 코스 레이팅도 되게 잘 돼 있고 어 재밌는 홀들이 많고 또 마지막 16 17 18번이 저에게 조금 어렵게 느껴지긴 해요. 굉장히 그래서 더 재밌게 느껴지고 마지막이 그런 부분들이 굉장히 매력 있는 골골프코스인 거 같습니다. Beh year coming to thisf course so generally feel a lot of comfort coming in. Um, it’s a really pretty golf course to the eye. Uh, the finishing hole 16 to 18. do makeous [음악] 어 뭐 때문에 16 17 18이 조금 어 불안한지 일단은 16번 쇼톨은 그린이 좀 단단해서 어 핑공 약하기가 좀 어려울 때가 있는 있을 있었고 또 17번으로는 티샷 시 좀 불편한 점이 좀 있고 18번홀도 그렇고 그래서 16 마지막 세월은 어 쉽지 않아요. Um, so 16 the green is quite firm so you really have to land in the perfect spot to get it close to the pin which makes it tough. 17 and 18 about the Tot uh just visually it is a little bit tough uh probably for everyone and then um yeah but she still likes the holes just finds a little challenging. And in preparation for this event in the past couple months is there anything you’ been working on in your game? 아 뭐 특별히 시합을 준비하려고 뭐 연습을 뭐 다르게 하 했던게 있는지 일단 제가 저번 주에 한국 경기를 뛰고 오고 어 그 전에 한국에서 한 달 정도 계속 연습을 했던게 어 좀 더 일정한 스윙을 하고 일정한 샷을 하자에 좀 포커스를 맞췄고요. 그런 그렇게 연습을 한게 도움이 많이 된 거 같고 그래서 한국에서도 저번 주에 경기를 잘하고 왔고 그 경기감이 잘 유지되는 거 [음악] onent [음악] [음악] Awome thank you so much fork
