Trying to build a sim in the garage that I can tuck away so cars can still park. Been running into a few problems that hopefully reddit can help with. The net has about 3ft. of clearance.
- Net tension and ball bounce back (considered getting an impact screen to add another layer of safety). I've already put a ball through the wall for some context
- need something to stop the ball from bouncing on the concrete
- Anything in general to improve
Not 100% ready to commit to the impact screen/projector build, but open to all suggestions $ -> $$$.

Seems like its really close. You might be better off with some ceiling track and a dangling net in a u shape so it has some side protection. A heavy duty net with less tension should have less bounce back.
Also why do you stand on the concrete and have all of that matt on the other side of the ball /s
This video helped me a lot. You can build an impact screen for roughly $300 with EMT conduit and the screen he recommends.
