I thought we was going to keep six. We only kept five. you would have kept five, which is okay. It’s okay. But y’all see Twitter on the side of me, man. I’m get to some of the guys that were cut and then also guys that were just waved. You know what I’m saying? So, I’mma start with uh Charlie uh Higlet. I think that the long snapper is going to come back cuz we need a long snapper. uh Patrick Johnson, uh Kendall Lamb, uh Terence Marshall, and I knew Terence Marshall was not going to be on his roster only because of the the um emergence of Darius Cooper. I’ll get to him later, but you got Perry Nicholson Nickerson. I didn’t think he was going to make out. He was going to be a practice squad guy. And then Avery Williams as well. uh Avery Williams is way better than how uh Annayiah Smith was not calling fair catches in the last preseason game and everything like that. I feel like that Avery Williams would be a great punt returner. He would be great punt and kick returner. He just need more reps. He need more reps at that. Right. But the guys that we wave, the list is long, y’all. The list is long. I’m I’mma say FA Adai, Chance Campbell, Tariq Castro Fields because he was injured. So, they still waved him, but he’s injured. Elijah Cooks, Lance, I already knew Elijah Cooks wasn’t going to make it. I already knew he wasn’t going to. It’s too much time. And as you know, the presser and I’m going to get into that as well. As the presser said, the presser said that Jihad Campbell is going to remain a Philadelphia Eagle for his last year of his contract. Lance Dixon, Joel Evans, Dallas Gant, Ken Green, and now this one is interesting because Kenan Green is who we traded CJ Garter Johnson for. A lot of people say, “Well, we basically trade CJ Garter Johnson for crumbs.” And I get it. I get it. But at the same time, you got to understand that CJ Garter Johnson was what Dennis Rodman was to the Chicago Bulls back then. Yes, we know he could ball on on the on the field. We know CJ Garder Johnson could ball on the field, but CJ Garter Johnson also do antics that the Philadelphia Eagles organization um Jav Roseman and uh Jeff Lorie doesn’t like. So, this is the reason why he’s no longer on the team. If he was sitting up there and playing ball and just being greedy uh gritty on on the field and all that and we he was bringing that swagger, even though we saw it as fans, that organization, we got to respect it. We we do. We do have to respect it. Um it’s it’s a lot more that goes into that CJ Garter Johnson TW trade than Keon Green. You know, I thought Keon Green was going to be great, but Stalin couldn’t even save him. Start could not save Kon Green. He couldn’t. All right. So, you got Brand Brandon Johnson, Montreal Johnson, and I thought Montreal Johnson is going to be a practice squad anyway. He’s going to be a practice squad guy anyway because I feel like that uh Montreal Johnson showed a lot in these preseason games. Uh Cameron Latu, uh Oin Matthysse, Kyle McCord. Now, when you get to Kyle McCord, I feel like Kyle McCord was not going to make the roster. I I felt like that he was better. He was better than DTR. Everybody was better than DTR. I could have got I could have went out there and been better than DTR, but Kord, I feel like that he’s not ready for the NFL. I think that he needs more uh um um upbringing in practice and all that. So, I think he could come back as the practice squad guy. I think that a lot of people are sleeping on they think that he’s going to be taken because he’s a rookie. But I feel like that just because of the tape that they got out on him or just the preseason alone, I feel like that that’s that’s more than enough for him to come back as a Philadelphia Eagle on a practice squad just in case. Um, you got uh Tyler Tyler Marin, you got Nick M Nick Nick Muse, Holland Paris, Sunrick Son son Derek Pal, Son Derek Pal, you got him. Um, I already knew he wasn’t going to make the roster. I knew Antoine Pal Rollin wasn’t going to make the roster, but he could come back as special teams. Uh, Eli Ricks is is a shocker to a lot of people, but not to me. I feel like that uh Eli Ricks didn’t really grow. Eli Ricks didn’t really grow into his role. He’s been here for two years. He had a lot I think he had what what 28 snaps with us. Um, in in those two years and he hasn’t grown. He hasn’t grown. So, that’s basically what what this is. I feel like that Tyler Stein, not Tyler Stein, Eli Ricks really, really, really needs to dig deep into himself and know that this is the NFL and he cannot sit up there and uh regress as I should say, right? Jermaine Robinson, uh, Keelin Robinson, uh, Justin Rogers, Andre Sam was waved. That’s a shocker. Anniia Smith. Now, I thought that, like I said in the beginning, I thought that Annia Smith was going to make the roster. I thought Annayia Smith was going to be um, one of those guys that’s going to make the roster just because of kick return and everything. But after that last preseason game, I’m like, yo, like he he hasn’t gotten it yet. He hasn’t gotten it yet. Hopefully they bring him back on the practice squad. He don’t have a lot a lot of tape for other uh GMs and NFL teams to be looking at him. So hopefully Anna Smith does come back because he is a fan favorite. Um Jacob Sykes, uh Lincoln, uh uh Vakari Ralerie, and AJ Woods. So, and the Kobe Dean is on the pup list. He basically Hold up. Let me see if I can get this picture for y’all. Hold up real quick. Come on, man. I I’ll be doing my homework a little bit. Let me get this picture for y’all real quick. So, Nico Dean did say, “See y’all week five.” Kobe Nico Kobe Dean said, “See y’all week five. That means that he already got cleared to play uh against the uh Broncos. He said, “See y’all week f five.” And I’m looking forward to it. You know, a lot of people are like, “Okay, well, is he going to get his spot back or is he going to is he going to get his spot back or is he going to sit up there and um be a deaf piece?” You know, I think it would be smart to put him in a death piece and then switch it up on the Bronco. Especially because in the beginning of the year, I think that we’re going to start out slow on defense, honestly, to get everybody equipped to what we do. You know, people that was here already like the the Jordan Davis, the Jellen Carters, uh the the uh um uh OMO, uh a lot a lot of guys, right, that that was here. uh Quan Mitchell, Cooper Dean, uh Zack Bond, uh uh uh Jeremiah Trot Jr., those guys is going to be equipped. You want to get guys like Jihad Cable equipped to it. That CB2 situation, uh equipped to it. Um anybody that’s starting week one through four, um you want to get them equipped to it as well, right? How Roseman basically said cuz I I’m I’m an angry translator now, right? So Harry Roseman basically said that look man, we not satisfied with the roster, but this is what we got right now. Um, we are comfortable with these guys, but we’re not settling, right? And I feel like that Harry Roseman knows what he wants to do in the next 24 hours. He knows that guys that he want to bring back for the practice squad cuz through that throughout that whole presser with him and Nick Seriani, they basically were saying the similar things. It’s a 70man roster. So those the long snapper the the the 16 guys that goes on to um goes on to the practice squad that that’s basically what what Nick Seriani and and Harry Rose was alluded to. We got to stop thinking that this is the end all be all. We know this. We’ve been Eagles fans for how many years? How Roseman knows what he’s doing. Um yes, he does take losses. You know, a lot of people are still hung up about CJ Garter Johnson not being the Eagle, but he does have a lot of wins, and a lot of wins means he has two Super Bowls to to uh ju justify for it. You know what I’m saying? Um, and he got a Super Bowl ring and Nick Seriani got a Super Bowl ring. And we got we got good coaches, man. We got good coaching staff um all all across the board. So, that’s what I’m saying that we really got to stop um thinking that this is the end all be all. Honestly, um I I heard the news about certain guys that’s supposed to be Hold up, let me uh get to it. But certain guys certain guys that uh is going to be equipped to the uh the Eagles like you know in a trade you know we was going to trade for the guy in Jacksonville. I I would like him, but at the same time, like I I I’m cool where I’m at because we got two uh older guys or not even older guys, I would say guys that been in the NFL and Uch and Ojelari that has something to prove because you know they they’ve been injured um and they haven’t gotten that many steps. Whereas though that the rotation that we got here, I think it fits, you know, and I feel like the Young Guns and Jex Hunt and Nolan Smith, I think that it is what it is with them. You know what I’m saying? I think that Noan Smith is going to take a a leap. I think uh Jelix Hunt is going to take a leap. Um Jelix Hunt also, both of them can drop back in coverage. So, I’m not too concerned about both either one of them. Either one of them I’m not too concerned about. All right, we got we got to talk about who’s on this squad, man. Cuz I know y’all see it down here, man. It’s playing on repeat, but um Cam Jurgens, Tyler Stein, Brett Toe, I’m shocked that he made the roster even though he he stuck it up. He really did stuck stunk it up against second and third uh uh string uh guys. But you got Jordan Mada, Landon Dickerson, Cameron Williams, uh Tyler Stein, Matt Prior, and Fred Johnson. Welcome back, Fred Johnson. Fred Johnson killed the Bengals. He killed the guy that everybody that was Eagles fan. Well, the majority of the Eagles fans wanted. They wanted Trey Henderson. They wanted Trey Hendendrickson. And I’m like, yo, trading out all that, especially if he couldn’t go against our our death piece. Our death piece was holding him in check. Jill Hurst had a lot of time. A lot of time on on on a on a Dline. You got I’mma say Oh, I’mma say Oh. Oh. Just like uh how how called him. You got Jordan Davis. Got Byron Young, even though I I said that he was gonna make the roster. Ty Robinson, of course, but I think that he just need to lose a little bit of weight. Gabe D Gabe Hall, Mororrow Germo, and Jaylen Carter. Of course, Jaylen Carter, of course. Of course. But that’s what I’m saying that Harry Roseman knows what he’s doing. It’s just it’s going to take a lot of work. It’s going to take a lot of work. A lot of work. But who I am happy about, hold on, let me pop this up real quick. But who I am happy about, his story is is like magnificent. I’m I’m happy about it. I am happy about this guy right here, Darius Cooper. hard work, dedication, and being part of an organization that knows what hard work and dedication gets you. He basically came from a school that nobody really talks about, undrafted, and made the roster over Terence Ferguson, over a whole bunch of guys. a whole bunch of guys that he people didn’t even think, you know. Yeah. AJ Brown Jr., bro. Bro, I’m just saying this is what it is. This is what it is right now. I feel like Cooper is about to cook. He about to cook. He about to cook. That’s my guy. That’s my guy. And I feel like that that’s That’s one of those things whereas though that you you don’t know who you got in a guy until he shows you like while people while while uh players were doing press conference, he was sitting up there on on the sideline stretching, going through uh reps and and doing certain things. He talking to Jillen Herz. He was doing these things in the back in the background where you’re like, “Yo, he really wants this. This is a guy that we could we could trust in.” And you know how we are as Philadelphia uh Philadelphia fans, period. Philadelphia sports fans are if you show us your heart, your dedication, and your work ethic. Oh, you got a fan in us. You got a fan. Look at AI. Look at Brandon Graham. Look at Jason Kelce. Look at these guys. And now you got guys like, you know, Jellah Herz. Jellah Herz is a underdog. We all know this. He’s an underdog. He was just announced 19th. Even though I think he should have been a little bit higher. Everybody think he should have been a little bit higher, but he was just ranked 19th. He was just ranked 19th. He in the top 20 for the third year streak. No NFC starting quarterback is ranked higher than him. All the other quarterbacks is in the AFC. They they they they they top four. You know, the Lamar Jackson, the the Patrick Mahomes, the Josh Allison, uh uh Joe Burrows. He’s ranked higher than everybody else that they they they named. So basically what what the league says is that Jellah is top five. Mind you, he did not actually win the Super Bowl or the Super Bowl MVP when this vote it went in. Let that sink in. They know how dangerous Jellen Herz is. They know that Jellen Herz is that guy. They know that Jellen Herz caused a lot of issues for any any team that laces up against us. He caused too many too many issues. A lot of people thought that Sam How was going to was was the reason why no the signing of Sam How they thought that the signing of Sam How was because of the injury of Tanner McKe. Tanner McKe is fine. Tanner McKe probably won’t play or probably be in week one, but Tanner McKe is fine. Tanner McKe will be our uh second string quarterback. Sam How is the third? Sam How is the third. There’s no reason why there was a lot of buzz about Tanner McKe. We going to drop him because he got an injury. That’s stupid. That’s stupid. Let him heal. He’s going to be the second string. Uh uh Sam How is going to be the third. Ironically, Commander Fans said, “Y’all got a good one.” Because he was killing he was killing stuff and all. No, he a had nothing to lose. He didn’t have nothing to lose. What’s going on, Damn. I ain’t see you in a minute. I ain’t see you in a minute, brother. Welcome aboard. I ain’t see you a minute, man. Now, now. Now. what you think about uh Jen Hurst being ranked 19? Do you think that was good or you think he should been higher? Because you know, me and you go back and forth about Jellen. Jellah should have been in the top 10. Jer should have been in the top 10. I think that yes, they did start or end it voting in December, but I think that they should have uh corrected it. We already know that you’re going to break up that we had Squar Barkley rush for 20 2,000. If if if I have a coworker that makes my job easy, but I also make his job easy. Let’s not forget that. I’ll make Saquon Bartley’s job easy because before Jellah Herz, Saquon Bartley had 1300 plus yards, right? 1300 plus yards, right? Jahurst is a threat on the run. So, of course, he’s going to unlock that on top of having, if not the best offensive line in the league. We have the 19th Super Bowl winning quarterback. Look, check this out, right? I know Jellen Hurst doesn’t care. I said this on my last video. Jellah Hers doesn’t care. But people like me do because I feel like that Jellah works too hard to not get the recognition that he deserves. So anytime I could get on here on this platform and basically say yo Jellah Herz is top two top two quarterbacks. So that’s only because uh Patrick Mahomes has more Super Bowl appearances. J uh Jellah Herz is top two to me. top two to me. Think about it like this, right? You got guys What’s going on, Aaron? You got guys that do does great in a slam dunk contest, does great in in uh All-Star games, does great in a regular season, you know, i.e. Dak Prescott, i.e. Philip Rivers. These guys put up numbers, don’t get me wrong. They put up numbers, but they also put their teams in a hole. They put their team in a hole by careless passing, leading their receivers to basically hospital beds because they’re going to get smacked, and then it’s a live ball interception. Jaylen Herz don’t put us in those situations. John Herz makes sure that Okay, here’s a better example. As a manager, as a manager of any type of store, if you got all stars all over, it’s hard. It’s harder to um it’s harder to manage all that and make that one team than guys that it’s no expectations for. Jellen Herz managed the team, call out blitz, make other guys read certain things. He had Squar Barkley block instead of running certain plays of the season. I watched the All 22. I have that. But Jen Herz is the catalyst and nucleus that runs this whole offense. Runs this whole offense. And if he’s not really calling the plays, it’s guys on the offensive line. Is is Seaqu Bartley being here? Is AJ Brown, Devonte Smith, Dallas Goddard. The the reason Dallas got herd is here because uh Jelly Herz called him and was like, “Yo, what’s good? You know, you want to come back? You you coming back or what’s going on?” And that whatever that conversation happened behind closed doors, I’m just paraphrasing, but he said that Jellen Herz was talking to him because he was sitting up there. He was basically about to become a free agent if he didn’t get nothing done. Jellent Herz is one of one man. He’s one of one. He said, what’ he say? I hear you, but you can’t argue 22 Herz was special. This this Herz was special, too. Don’t get me wrong, this hurts was special, too. We know he can’t he can take over a game, but he wasn’t asked to. No, he wasn’t asked to because the offense at the time because we had so many weapons and then we just got Squan in the beginning of the season, it was like, “All right, we going to do RPOS’s, but Jen Hurst is passing more because of is it’s uh Kell Moore’s offense.” And then that’s when they went to them and the offensive line went to the offense was like, “Yo, let’s let’s let’s run the ball.” And that’s what happened. And then the offense um opened up. Defense was still the defense. The defense was locked down. Jell has the ability to be what we need on any given Sunday, whatever. Whether it that’s air it out or take a back seat. Look, I compare Jellen Herz to prime Dwayne Wade when LeBron James joined the Miami Heat. Dwayne Wade was great by itself. Dwayne Wade won a championship by himself. Dwayne Wade well championship by itself and with older people, older players, right? But then when LeBron comes, like LeBron is basically Squire Barkley healthy. Squire Barkley healthy. You seen what he did last season. Squire Barkley with an offensive line that’s equivalent to LeBron James having a great coach. And Eric Eris Botra. Um that’s basically where it is at the end of the day. Um, okay. How many times Jellen missed wide open guys? Every quarterback miss wide open guys. It’s not just Jellen Herz. It’s not just Jellen Herz at all. Um, Jellen Herz is not the only one that really miss why obey guys like that. You know, you saying he got to be more consistent and everything like that. You’re you’re you’re joining you’re joining guys that actually that actually talks about Jellen Herz in a different light. They talk about Jen Hurst like he’s not even supposed to be in the top 100. Talk they talk about Jayen Herz that like he’s a mediocre quarterback like he’s Trent Dilford. Like he’s Brock Pury. Like he’s Justin Herbert. like he’s Jaden DS. They y’all talk about Jellen Herz like he doesn’t win ball games himself, like he he didn’t beat the top tier guys. You know what I’m saying? Y’all talk about Jellah Hurst there. What? Let’s try I’m gonna try to change the subject, right? What cut or wave of this 53 man roster surprised you? Let’s start there. I need to know. The only one that surprised me, honestly, click here. There we go. The only one that surprised me was Annia Smith. And that’s only because I thought they was keeping six. I thought they was keeping six receivers. only because Annayia Smith I think Anna Smith shot himself in the foot in that last uh preseason game. He wasn’t calling fair catches. He wasn’t doing uh certain things that needed to have been done. You know what I’m saying to actually put us in a better position. Um I’m not shocked about Kyle McCord. I’m not shocked about Keon Green. I’m not. Start can’t help him. He can’t I don’t know if they bring him back or not, but Stalin can’t help them. Which means that, you know, and I said this earlier, CJ Garter Johnson that situation, I think that that situation had more to do with CJ Garter Johnson antics. I think they could have afforded CJ Garter Johnson, but here we go. I don’t think Granson or our to should have made the roster. Uh well, Grant only made the roster because we traded the other guy who just got waved by the way. He got waved, the other uh tight end. But yeah, I feel like that that’s the only reason why he made the roster. Uh oh, I think O should have made the roster. I think he should have. Um, who else you say? Uh, Toth. I think Toth stuck it up this whole training camp. And I agree with you there. I do agree with you there. Um, that that’s an argument because I did say I did thought that he was going to be on the roster. I think that APR was going to be on the roster or a Yeah, that that was the thing, right? I think he was going to be on the roster. Uh I did I just thought that he didn’t really show too much. He didn’t really show too much in in um training camp and preseason. He did not. But certain guys could come back like they said. They said that basically this was a that’s the Fred Johnson situation. Let me go back here. But um I feel like that um they’re going to bring guys back on the practice squad. It was it’s not a lot of tape on guys that we had out there and had hopes for um or good tape to the point where somebody going to snatch him up. I think Kyle McCord is going to be on a practice squad honestly. Um I think uh Montreal Johnson, the running back, is going to be on a practice squad. I think that uh Eli Ricks is going to be on the practice squad. I think that’s what’s going to happen. Uh and that says a lot about the trades and and everything that we were doing and this offseason in the training camp. When we got Jakoria Bennett, I was like, “Yeah, uh Eli Rex is done.” But then Matt Mc Williams stepped up and I’m like, “Yo, he’s definitely done. He’s definitely not going to be a part of this 53 man roster. Cuz I was I was I ain’t going to lie, I was tired of Eli Rick doing enough to be a part of the 53 man roster and not stepping up to be that guy, you know? um we seen him in 2023 in the slot and he was rotating but at the same time like his best game was that Rams game in 2023 to me uh in meaningful football but at the same time I’m like uh Matt Williams is showing showing uh Jakoria Bennett you don’t trade for a guy like that hold on I’m getting to that you you jumping you jumping you jumping because I’m getting to that I’m getting to that cuz I’m so pissed off at uh uh the the thing down here and how Killy Ringo and Adori Jackson is so excited to be a part of the 53man roster, but let me get to your comment. He’s a developmental piece. Maybe he clears waiverss like Gabe Hall and learn a lot a lot. He he defend needs some. Yeah, he does. He does need refinement. Ringo making me want Slay back. Look, Ringo. Hey yo, I ain’t even read that till now because I know how you feel about Slay, right? Ringo. Ringo is a sorry excuse for a quarterback. And how Roseman did say that Ringo is a good player. He had he he’s he’s uh he has great hands. He has he has all all all the attributes that you want from a quarterback and he’s great in special teams. I think that we’re going to keep him as special teams and also a death piece in a rotation or not even a rotation but the the death piece of the CB2 position. I don’t think that Killer Ringo if he if we’re healthy and he don’t have to see the field, I don’t think he’ll see the field on on on defense. I really don’t. I think Killy Ringo days are numbered. I think that the only two reason why he why Killy Ringo is still a Philadelphia Eagle. Number one, because he’s a Georgia Bulldog and that that uh that that rapport with everybody else is is great to the point where you don’t want to slight the JC’s, the Nolan Smiths, the the Kobe Deans. Um you don’t want to slight those guys, right? Secondly, on special teams last season, he was immaculate. Like, he was great. He was great. Ringo has a role just on that’s what I’m saying. He has a role on special teams just like I feel about Cydney Brown because he could tackle downhill. If you ask Cydney Brown to start and he’s tackling downhill all game, he’s going to have a great game. If Sydney Brown has to cover over the top, Cydney Brown is going to have a mediocre game. And then we’re going to be questioning on why CJ Garter Johnson hasn’t been here, why Justice Simmons hasn’t been signed. We’re going to be questioning a lot of things about the safety position and we’re going to be questioning How’s decision on that. It’s a gift for a curse for Howie at this point. You know, Howie is a great GM. Don’t get me wrong. Harry is a great GM. He gave us a lot of success in his time as GM, but he does make mistakes. And some mistakes, us Philadelphia Eagles fans that really know football, we question it. We question it to the point we’re like, yo, why not go after this guy? Why not sit up there and go after this guy? You know, he fits the scheme of your defensive coordinator. Why not go after this guy? and he gives you the the PC, the the politically correct answers on the podium and he’ll say things like, “We like our guys and I feel confident about our guys, but we’re not done.” Which one is it, Howie? Cuz I feel like that we’re not done means that we’re not happy with the 53man roster, but this is what we got right now. This is the best of what we got right now. And we’re trying to see before the trade deadline, what we got in these guys before we even make another move. But I feel like in the next 24 hours, we know about uh practice squad. But in also in the last 20 next 24 to 48 hours, Harry Roseman is on the phone trying to see what he could do to make this team better. He’s trying to see what he could do to make this team better. Brown might be starting the first couple of games until Makuba gets up to speed. Give that man some I I would love like the first game, especially against the Cowboys, some uh a team that he actually got um kicked out the game for and he bodys slam somebody or whatever. I would love him to start against the Cowboys. I would I would set the tone. Set the tone. But I don’t think he’s a hot head. I really don’t think that. I just think that he’s a Tasmanian devil that don’t know how to stop and and play with um discipline. That’s basically what Cydney Brown is. Cydney Brown is an undisiplined safety that when he makes a good play, you’re like, “Yo, that that’s the Sydney Brown that we need.” But then he makes a lot of plays where he’s not in good coverage, where he sometimes makes miss tackles because he’s moving at,000 miles per hour. It’s a lot of things that I see that I’m like, yo, Cydney Brown is not a starter. And I want him to see the field as much as his brother did the last couple seasons. I do want him to see the field as much as his brother. Vic can deal with guys getting beat, not missing assignments, not miss. Think about it. It’s a reason why like if you go back and you listen to Javi Roseman talk about Killy Ringo and then you go back and you listen to Vic Fangio talk about Killy Ringo against uh Jamar Chase. Now, a lot of people were sitting up there pissed off about my take about Killy Ringo against Jamar Chase because they was like, “Oh, that’s Jamar Chase.” Okay, but we’re asking Killy Ringo to be the second quarterback, the starting quarterback on the other side of Quon Mitchell. You’re going to be going against guys like this. Not at that stature, but hey, if you could at least contain him, if you could at least got a tackle on him, if you could at least avoided the touchdown, he didn’t even do that. He didn’t do that. And they were saying the whole training camp that he would sit up there, be at the right place, but he would never execute closing out on on a player. He was never closing out on a player. They make a great catch. They make a touchdown. They they would do all those things. Killy Ringo do not know how to close out. But if you ask him to run downfield and stop a guy, yeah, he could do that. That’s why he’s great for special teams. He’s great for special teams. Big also say he was putting guys in pressure situations. He said he would never play cover. Yeah, right. Right. He never going to play cover zero. Never. I think Killer Ringo is only here for those two reasons that I named earlier. He’s a Georgia Bulldog. He got that rapport with the the the Kobe Deans, the Nolan Smith, the JC’s, the Jordan Davis’s of the world. And then he’s been in the locker room so long he probably got relationships elsewhere. And number two, special teams. Michael Clay needs a killer Ringo. Michael Clay needs that to set the tone and and do things like that. Huh. Look, you know I rock with you, bro. Um, Stef Gilmore is a vet vet. Yes, you could bring in some vets, you know, once or right before the trade deadline like we did a couple seasons ago when we got uh Lynall Joseph and uh Domu. Um Stef Gilmore is too old, bro. He He’s too old. Yeah, he’ll be CB2 day one. He’d be CB2 day one, but at the same time it’s like h and for them people, you know, talk about CB2, right? For those people that was talking about Asante Samuel Jr., he’s not even ready to go really cuz he’s about to get uh tested again um for his injuries and stuff like that. So, he’s not really ready to go for week one. He’s not ready ready to go for a ramp up to be able to play week one. I’m tired of talking about that. I do too, I do too. I want to win another championship. I want to go back to back this year. This is why I agree with Harry Roseman that this this roster is not done. It’s not done. Another thing, I am happy that AJ uh Dylan made the roster. I am happy because a lot of people like Alias Shaw Parks was basically saying that A uh uh AJ Dylan was not going to make the roster and he was going to be um released or cut. He He was going to be waved or cut. AJ Dylan is what we need in in this lineup. You know, I don’t know who’s going to be on the death chart two running back, but you need that two-minute drill guy. You need that guy that’s going to be able to be that one-two punch with with Saquon Barkley. I think Saquon Barkley, if we’re smart, we’re not expecting him to had carry the load as he did last season, right? Uh I think that AJ Dylan could drag some some uh players with him. I think he had a a a decent not not not a great camp, but he had a decent camp to the point where his neck injury was really a factor, you know, and that’s why I think that he made that roster. October, he gets some kind of results. Dylan going to get 20 carries all year. Don’t do that. Come on, man. 20 carries, 20 touchdowns. No, bro. Like he’s not the co-pilot to the tush push, bro. Um I feel like that Dylan is going to be that guy because he’s, you know, he’s been working on in training camp and everything, catching out the back field. He’s been trying to catch out the back field. So, I am happy that he made the roster. I’m happy that uh Oelari and Uch made the roster as well. You know, they got something to prove. You already know how we feel about people’s stories. Look at John Me. John Mechi. I said Mitchi. John Mechi. Look at John Mechi. John Mechi. He’s a story. Oelari injury. He’s a story. He’s looking for us to get back. If we don’t got nothing in him, then we got to make a move. Jiad Dodson was the forgotten guy in in Washington. He’s a Super Bowl champion. Hell look at Uch. It’s another guy. Another guy played for the Patriots. Learned a lot. It’s another guy. AJ Dylan is a story. That’s what I’m saying that I am happy that he is a part of this 53man roster. Now, how it is now, I’m not going to tell you this. No, I’m not supposed to say this, but I’m not satisfied. I’m not satisfied with this roster only because it’s the unknown. We got a gauntlet in the beginning of the year, you know. Uh the Cowboys got talent, but I feel like that we could beat the Cowboys. I’m not talking about them. I’m talking about playoff teams. We got Kansas City. We got the Rams. I think we got the Bucks. And then we got the Broncos. It’s a little gauntlet. Cowboys fans keep telling me, “Oh, we going to get we we about to sign uh Michael Parsons. Don’t worry about that.” He was just uh uh Jerry Jones was just hugging Michael Parson’s mom. I don’t care. She’s for Look, if she’s for the Dallas Cowboys, she not a real one because I’ll be standing right next to my child and being like, “Yo, pay him what you own. Pay him what you own because all this antics and stuff like that. Come on, bro. This is not 1990 whatever.” Yeah. Facts. So, I say we have a great wide receiver core and linebacker. Right. Right. Two weaknesses. Two weaknesses of the uh Philadelphia Eagles for years. Linebacker. Linebacker is great. Especially when Nobe Dean does come back. And then, you know, the hattick is Jad Camel’s going to be coming off the edge sometime. That’s the hattick. The hattick is Jeremiah Charlie Jr. might not really see the field like that. He probably going to be a special teams guy for some for this year as well. Um cuz uh Ji Campbell deserves to be on the field if healthy. He deserve to be on the field all the time. All the time. We have too many guys. We have a Ror and and and Quon Mitchell. he wants to uh move with the wide receiver that he’s guarding. You got Cooper Dean that could play multiple positions and be on kick return or punt return. Then you got Jah Campbell that could be um a linebacker or a edge rusher. Then you got Jealous Hunt that converted from a safety over to edge. We got too many people on this team that can actually play multiple positions on defense. That’s all I’m saying. I feel like the Cowboys game, I think that that’s a win. You know, Jav Roseman on the presser today, he was saying like, “Look, I’m excited about this matchup. I’m very excited about it. Very excited. I am too, man. I think I’m not going to go. I’m not going because the waste uh public transportation for some people. Uh it is in Philadelphia right now. It’s gonna be hectic down there, man. Just like I didn’t go to the Uber practice. I I used to go every single year. I’m going next year, but every single year. But then Chris Brown wanted to be in in in the situation. And then people were saying that, hey, I was in I was in traffic for like three hours. That’s as long as the practice. That’s as long as the practice. So, I know I know the opener. I know it’s going to be packed down there. A lot of people people are going to call out of work just to be down there overnight. you’re calling out to work because the way the way SEPTA are our our bus our buses are not running as they should and and trains. Um, I know we we got high hopes for Jill Hunt and and uh Dolan Smith. I think Dolan Smith and Jelix Hunt did that they just do in the postseason in the Super Bowl. And they’re they’re cheap. They’re cheap. That that’s the business side of it. They’re they’re cheap. But I will get that guy from the uh Jacksonville Jaguars. I will get him by any means necessary. How Roseman said on the press of the day, he said um we got draft picks and not say that we’re going to use all of them on the draft, but he said that we can still make moves. And and that was a part of that we not done rant that he went on. We’re not done. So we could make a trade. He probably won’t be ready until week two, but we can make a trade. We could whatever, you know, we could sign we could sign uh Justice Simmons, even though I feel like Justice Simmons at this point was just begging to be a Philadelphia Eagle. at this point, but I don’t know if he’s a the the right fit because if Justin Simmons come here, I think he’s more comfortable on Reed Blankenship side. I know Re Blankenship don’t really care, but I think he’s more comfortable on Re Blankship side from what I saw on the tape. How never done. He’s on the phone right now. Aziz right now if it’s if the if week one was right now Aziz and uh Uch should be the rotational pieces and I would say possibly see it’ll be a toss up between I don’t know because you know you still got Nobe Deing coming back so one of these guys that we’re naming is not going to be on the roster because Nobi Deing has to play. They have to play killing ring. Hold up, y’all. Hold up. I don’t know if y’all see this down here, but the way Killy Ringo and Adori Jackson was so excited to be called in the 53man roster. I think it’s about to Yep, there it is. The way they was excited about being a part of 53 man roster tells me one thing. They didn’t have no heart and didn’t believe in themselves. They didn’t believe in themselves. And they probably recorded this way before they uh they did the 53man roster. But Kyle Ringo and Dory Jackson sucks honestly. But Adori Jackson better be because he’s right now the third the third best probably the fourth best quarterback that we have on the roster. But if he does start week one, I feel like yeah, it was media day, but I think if he does start against the Cowboys, I think he he needs to be ready. He needs to be ready. He better not James Bradberry. This Brown was hyping up Ringo. Sydney Brown. I’m happy that he made the roster, but I do need him to be disciplined. And I hope I’m hopeful that um these coaches and Vic Fangio get him right. Andrew Makuba, I don’t know if he’s gonna be a eligible for week one, but from what what it looks like, I think he’s probably not gonna play until week two. Quan Mitchell, of course, you know, I feel like that he’s going to be a pro bowler next season or this season. Uh Cooper Dean, of course, another one. And it’s so crazy. Did y’all hear the presser with Harry Roseman and Nick Seriani and a person asked them? [Laughter] The person asked them about Killy Ringo. He diverted it all the way to Quan Mitchell. He said, “I’m I’m happy about our secondary. I’m happy about Quan Mitchell. I’m happy about Cooper Dean. Uh we have a lot of guys that rotation. We have a lot of guys that’s ready to And then when he got to Killy Ringo, he basically said, “Killy Ringo has the stature of a quarterback. He’s he’s great. He’s athletic. He got great hands. His body type is is great. Um and he’s great on our special teams.” He never said that this man was going to start. He never said that Killy Ringo at some point will start in the season. He don’t have too much high hopes for Killy Ringo. I’m telling y’all, Killy Ringo is only here because he’s a Georgia Bulldog and and he’s great on special teams. M Williams, man, I knew that Eli Ricks, who also was a fan favorite, I knew that Eli Ricks, his time was done as a Philadelphia Eagle, unless he comes back as a special teamer. I think that he could only because Matt with Williams showed out on in training camp and then his playing time also with uh in training camp and preseason. Um you got Tristan McCullum. A lot of people like some people I ain’t gonna say a lot. Uh some people like Andre Sam over Trisha McCullum. I think Trista McCullum last season showed that he can actually come in and be serviceable. He could be serviceable. And Jakoria Bennett now Jakoria Bennett man the last preseason not look I was like swinging at air with Jakoria Bennett and it’s not his fault cuz he was right on on the uh the uh receiver. The thing is it was just a luck of the draw of who was going to make the play, who wasn’t going to make the play. and Cory Bennett is more of a physical type of quarterback. Um, on a two-minute drills, like he was really getting cooked. He was getting cooked a little bit. Even though he was in the right situation, the right right at the right time, he was just getting cooked. He was getting cooked. But happy he’s on our squad. I’m hopeful that he can learn the playbook, be more aggressive in practice, and become that CB2 because I do not trust a Dory Jackson. I don’t tr I don’t trust Killy Ringo. Hold up, hold up, hold up. Yeah, I mean hopefully Slay like somehow some way that he can finish his career as a Eagle, you know, he probably gonna be one of those vets that we could bring back before trade trade deadline or we could bring somebody. We need vets. We do. We do need vets. Um hopefully uh because you remember how do y’all feel about this? Right. We had Quan Mitchell and Cooper Deene learning from both Slay and then let’s not forget regardless of how bad he was in 2023 2022 he was he he was the guy and James Bradberry but James Bradberry took a backseat and was that other coach besides Christian Parker. How do you feel about them two, Cooper Dean and Q basically now on the secondary kind of being the experienced guys? Do you think that they would be able to hold the fort down? Because I feel like that they talented enough to do it, but I feel like also that they were students and sponges to what was being taught by Slay and and so forth. The difference is that Cooper Dean and uh and Quan Mitchell likes to be physical, like to tackle, like to do certain things. We seen what Cooper Dean did to uh King Henry. We seen that come on. Uh I hope Clay has a list of special team folks how can look at No, he probably he probably a real reason why Ken Ringo is still on the squad. Because if you go on philadelphia eagles.com and you look at the 53man roster, the last person on on there besides special teams, I should say, the last person on there is Killy Ringo. Bradberry coached these those kids. Yeah, he did. He did. He should have been like one of those like assistant coaches like somewhat of what um Brian Johnson is for the the the Washington Commanders. And I feel like that is not enough tape on Anna Smith for other teams to be looking at Anna Smith. And we know what we got in Anna Smith. We we watched everything and we like yo this guy he he has it and then when Doug Peterson set up there and said, “Hey, we going to make him taste some hill.” I’m like, “That’s the wrong move cuz you you drafted him second for a reason.” And I think that the organization had hindsight, but Peterson didn’t. And then look look at look at uh Carson West now. Carson W just lost to uh Jen Herz in the Super Bowl as Jon uh Carson W was the backup to uh Patrick Mahomes and now he’s a backup on the Vikings. Do y’all do you feel like that any of those four quarterbacks Not even four quarterbacks. Let’s just say Lamar Jackson. Let’s just say uh Burrow. Do you feel like that they would have won the Super Bowl if they stopped Squall Barkley? Do you believe would you have trust in them to lead us to the promised land like Jill Hurst did? because Jellah did it twice. Because think about it, 2022, Miles Sanders, we know what happened. Like I I I I love the the standard that Harry Roseman, Nick Seriani, and and Jayen Herz made for this team. I love the fact that the veterans on this team is playing for like Jellen Herz. I love the fact that we could go through adversity like we did last season. Think about it like that. Last season we went through, oh, AJ Brown and Jellah is not cool. We went through um Brandon Graham being a whistleblower. You know, we went through that. That’s my guy. That’s one of my favorite eagles of all time. Brandon Graham, whistleblower. Um and then he he apologized. We went to uh we went through what uh two or two start in the beginning of the season. We went through uh CJ Garter Johnson basically saying a after the buy, hey, I got to play better. And then he ended up with six what I think six interceptions that that season. We went through a lot that season and the fact how they could had held them together and that shout out to Nick Serriani first and foremost Nick Seriani and then also Jellen Herz because I know Jellen Herz probably said something inspirational after that but Nick Seriani held everything together. He did, you know, um, a lot of people was thinking like, oh, he was the offensive coordinator for so long, he’s not going to give that that up or whatever like that. But I feel like that this was the great position for him, especially with Kell Moore in the building. Um, but the way Jellen Hirs holds itself, that’s that’s what it is, right? On top of what Lynn just said, basically he said she said I was behind. Everybody’s behind WZ. I was behind W. See, you was behind W until you saw uh Herz was in the locker room. You got guys like Dak Prescott that’s been in a league for 10 years. Cowboys been on a 30 year 30 year old 30-year drought. A drought. Um and then Jordan if he stays around if not then we got to play Nolan. it it it’s guys that we got to play that we weren’t going to be able to play CJ Garter Johnson and and they probably felt like that CJ Garter Johnson, you know, him coming back, we finished the job, he could go and and finish his career somewhere else. Um, also, of course, they didn’t like the antics on and off the field. They didn’t like that at all. Um, that’s not how they roll. That’s not how uh Jeff Lori and all want want the team. though. I get it. Was I mad? Yes, I was pissed off that CJ Garter Johnson wasn’t on this team. Think about it. If CJ Garter Johnson, the team, the 53man roster right now, if you take away Tristan McCulla and you put CJ Garter Johnson there, would y’all be concerned right now as the team is constructed? Would y’all be concerned if CJ Carter Johnson was still on the squad? I’m just asking because here these are attacking his mom’s business. Who mom’s business? Who minds business? But I do think that um I do think that uh with CJ I think that the roster would be way better because we got uh we we know that CJ battled through injuries with us. Oh yeah yeah yeah yeah. CJ. Yeah. Because they did not like that at the parade because he wore that at the parade. Yes. I I I remember now. Um the roster will be better with CJ if if he was still on the squad. Now, as the roster is right now, would the roster be better with Slay or Isaiah Rogers at CB2 as it is right now? I like CJ, but his play on the field could be replicate They not ready for that conversation. Now CJ Garter Johnson was authentic and yes, we did go and get uh Bakuba and I feel like Bakuba does play that, but he’s more disciplined on the field. Um but this is NFL, so you got to be ready for stuff like that. I think that, you know, if we would have kept CJ for at least one more year and still drafted Makuba cuz we still could have got him. Um, I feel like that Makuba would have been extra ready. I think that that that that safety position would have been solidified. Um, I can’t wait to Darius out there with wide receiver 1 A and 1B. Now, the only way that will happen is if uh J something happened to Jadson or if something happens to 1A on 1B. I don’t think it’s going to be like that unless we run uh four four receiver uh sets. if we run that more because I see us running more um two tight end sets than two uh four wide receiver sets. I see us running more of that especially with a fullback in in in in the situation and then the running backs that we have. I think that we will run more two uh two tight end sets than four um wide receiver sets. Um, but yeah, I think that the way this roster is and you know, we keep looking at it over and over again, just like how we said, we’re not done. We’re not done at all. Not done at all. Now, I think that we’re going to bring somebody in that’s going to help. I don’t know, off of waiverss that’s in uh free agency or if we trade for somebody, but we’re going to give up one of those picks that we have in 2026.
