This year’s winners have been announced from the 65th Troon Golf Weekender.
Once again, many golfers from across the country took part in the competition, renowned for its challenging circuit which provides an opportunity for competitors to play their best golf.
The golfers, who have a recognised WHS handicap, were put to the test on Darley, Lochgreen and Fullarton golf courses between Friday, August 22 and Sunday, August 24.
The competition was fierce, as golfers competed on the links courses for a number of historic trophies and generous prize funds.
There were seven different competitions, including the showcase Mills Quaich and Troon Rose Bowl Tournament, with £2000 prize vouchers to play for across all events.
A popular addition in recent years, the Ladies Triam, also returned as a competition staple.
The 2025 winners were:
* Mills Quaich: John Simmons, Hart Common Golf Club
* Troon Rose Bowl: Dave Bissett, Shotts Golf Club
* Open Stableford Competition: Antony Mendy, Blundells Hill Golf Club
* Charles Buchanan Veteran Shield: Michael Warner, Troon Welbeck Golf Club
* Open Mixed Foursomes: Stuart Gregor and Erin McIlveen, Old Ranfurly Course Golf Club
* Ladies Tri-Am: Alison Findlay, Jane Cowan and Karen Ness, Mearns Castle Golf Club
* Troon Junior Open (Tom Lehman Trophy): Boys: Oliver Kane, Royal Troon, Girls: Jennifer Doyle, Turnberry Golf Club
* Flag Competition Winner: Sam MacPherson, Prestwick Golf Club
