Caddie had ONE job! ๐Ÿ˜ญ

  1. The caddie hands the player a club, the player doesn't check it before swinging it – players fault if it goes wrong!

  2. I remember that incident. Paul Casey had a normal 3 iron and what he called was a strong 3 iron. He pulled the wrong club out of the bag, the strong 3 iron and hit it through the green. That's why they ended up laughing as Paul admitted his mistake and went public about it afterwards.

  3. Casey is a good dude. That is a true friendship, built in respect. It's not just a caddy player relationship… If that was Bubba Watson he would be yelling at his caddie.

  4. Why is no one talking about the dubbed swing sound? You can literally hear when he hits the ball, but then they add the SWOOSH with a 2 second delay.

  5. If a pro player canโ€™t figure out what club heโ€™s holding in his hands he really shouldnโ€™t blame the caddy

  6. Always love Paul, but he vaulted into my top few when this went down. Canโ€™t recall exactly but I think he was only 2 shots back. Probably not a real chance, but many others would have had a different reaction here. All class!

  7. I believe iv seen somewhere that he carries two 4 irons with differnt lofts. The golfer actually pulled the wrong club out the bag.

  8. For anyone wondering he had two 4 irons, and he pulled the wrong one. his explanation โ€œMy 3-iron and 4-iron, theyโ€™re actually the same head,โ€ Casey said. โ€œOne is bent stronger than the other. Clearly, I canโ€™t tell the difference when I put them down. Oneโ€™s got a little 4 on it, and the 3โ€™s got nothing onโ€

  9. If i ever fly the green from 250 with an iron I would be the happiest man on the course ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  10. So absurd they donโ€™t use refiners. Especially on LIV tour which has abandoned all good traditions. What a bunch of douchebags! ๐Ÿคก

  11. I like this. Instant accountability, the caddie takes responsibility, and both move on quickly to solving the problem.

  12. Paul Casey is a fabulous golfer, and an even better person….
The few times I've interacted with him and witnessed others speaking with him, he's been nothing but polite

  13. The person you have to worry about is the one not doing anything. The ones working will make mistakes. The mistakes the boss made not checking the work also Clint even more. The golf should have taken a second to look at the club handed to him.

  14. If my caddie pulled a 4 and I hit it to right there from 248 out, I woulda been jumping up and down and giving him a hug. Iโ€™d probably say something like โ€œYouโ€™re hiredโ€ or โ€œWe really gotta start paying you for thisโ€ too ๐Ÿ˜‚

  15. Me and my caddy would never make such a silly mistake. Ive also never met my caddy.

  16. I fully confess to getting out my 6i when I'm reaching for my 9 on the odd occation, but how can you mix up a 4 with a 3!?!

  17. He turned it over. If he hit a fade it may have been in the hole. Sure wasn't 20 miles an hour wind in the face. Amazing iron player.

  18. This is why Jack Nicklaus pulled his own clubs out of the bag. He never allowed a caddie to tell him what club he needed. Todayโ€™s pros need to go back to golf school and learn what clubs they need for themselves. The caddie should only be carrying the clubs. Not picking their clubs for them. Blame the player not the caddie.
