Yeah Matt we can see on your day you are a tidy golfer, and the work you have put in this year has definitely improved your game and mindset. Your Open Qualifying in dreadful weather showed you can compete. Just keep tidying up the niggles, stay focussed, and it can happen. All the best mate!

Mizuno S3 back in the bag? You made a video a couple of months ago where you said they were the wrong clubs for you and you went for the jpx forged?
Matt you remind me of myself atm….getting so frustrated on the course and feel as if the world is against you when I get a bad break…seem to have no luck atm with getting a good lie in a bunker or landing in divots etc and it’s really effecting my play and don’t know how to change my train of thought 😢

I watch your video because they are the best. Plus you use Mizuno clubs which I have used for years.
You played the par3s really well (-1).
Your pitching improved even if you didn't knock it stiff or make perfect contact.
Where your round suffered is from the tee.
Get the driver straightened out and you’ll have a few more approach shots from the fairway with that 50° wedge you like. From there, your SG putting will also improve.
Putting. Yes, some imperfect shots along the way, but in the end: putting. Looked like you were having a lot of trouble with those greens.
Excellent bunker play today Matty. Driver was good but we are used to seeing you hole more puts. May be time to change putters? Keep grinding Mi amigo!

Yes. I think if the FIRs % was better you wouldn't be chasing a score. Plus as a few have said your putter was cold today. Keep it going, the more comps the greater the improvement when comp play becomes the norm.
I think a lot of the problems could be just in yer noggin Matt. Keep it going.
Keep going you will definitely get your win you are heading in the right direction just keep positive as we know this beautiful frustrating annoying game we all love is played a big part in the head the mind so stay focused and positive
You will win one but as soon as you get a 'bad break' your heads gone. On one single hole you blamed wind, a CLOVER and a bobble on the green. Then when you reach a point where you know you wont win, the sarcastic thumbs up and claps towards the rough or ball start coming.
You play golf for a living, thats a win 🏆.
When you play with your mates like Finch you play miles better, I know its harder in a comp but my point is when youre enjoying it you play well.

Hi Matt , great work and yes you can win an event and like a past comment I did , you look so more relaxed with a caddy with you and confident in your shot selection , I just don’t know the rules if you are allows one ever event but keep it going regards trevor

Good idea to get a caddy in – I felt your chats with him before each shot gave you a clear ides of what shot you were going to play.
Finishing just 4 shots off the winner was a pretty good result given the number of shots you had to hit from the rough. I don't think you're close to your best yet, so a tightening up of the game off the tee leading to more accurate approach shots will make you very competitive.
