We got our hands on the forged Vokey wedges that you can only buy in Japan 🇯🇵. These are the “forbidden” wedges you won’t find in the U.S., and today we’re putting them to the test.
We’ll compare them directly to the Titleist Vokey SM10 wedges sold in the U.S. to see if the Japanese-only forged design actually feels, spins, and performs any better — or if it’s just hype.
From craftsmanship and looks to real-world performance, we break down what makes these Japan-only wedges so exclusive, and whether they’re worth tracking down.
👉 Would you play these wedges if they were available in the U.S.?

I’m not paying the extra, but dang they are sexy.
What about Miura Wedges or other Japan brand wedges? Is there something better on the market?
A friend of mine recently got these…. They definitely have a better feel.
Ideally you want to compare the heads with the same shaft , grips and swing weights…. Cool video idea though !
I game a set of 2014 JDM Vokeys with S200 shafts. They look and feel awesome. I hope they can be refurbished when they wear down.
Tour Spec is a deep rabbit hole 😅 I put some ZNE shafts in mine and they are awesome. Give em a shot
$370? GTFO. I dont care if aliens designed them.
Wilson Staffs offer forged wedges as well don’t they?
the dick riding over these is actually insane, they arent better, you cant feel much of a difference and they dont even look better and to top it all off you lose all of the options that make vokey wedges great which are all the grind options
Curious how the stack up against the MG5 taylormade forged wedges
In China is way cheaper than states
I ordered a Yamaha forged iron set from golfpartner in Japan and it arrived in 2.5 days
“Just can’t hit em today”- Trevor every video😂
It's ridiculous that any club manufacturers have been selling cast wedges to people in the U.S. and forged wedges across the globe. It's insulting. If we value the forged feel and feedback we get in a 7 iron, then why would we not want that in our 60° that we use from maybe 85-90 yards out up to the putting green, covering the most distance of any club? Mizuno at least didn't insult us with $180+ price tag for anything less than their best.
eBay sells them!! Hope you didn’t have to research too long. I just went on eBay and typed in forged vokey wedges. Does the Chinese forgery feel as good as the Japanese forgery?😳
Thanks for the video
these are literally at the retail shops in japan, please dont act like you need to climb a mountain or go deep diving to get them….
Does no one play Cleveland anymore? Or am I showing my age💀
Miura makes forged wedges, do they not?
My opinion on cast vs forged wedges is that it’s much harder to finesse a forged wedge around greens than it is a cast wedge. The consistency with cast on 1/2 power and less shots is so much more predictable than forged. Forged pops off the sweet spot so nice, it’s hard to judge how hard to hit. That’s my experience with forged wedges. I wouldn’t mind playing a forged gap wedge, but that’s bc I hit full shots with that club. Anywho, “I just can’t hit em today. Ahh, flushed it.” 😂
400 a wedge/ wtf
Full Sherlock Holmes?? 😂 C'mon now haha
Sugar daddy owners- have your wedges dulled?
I just got 3 fresh SM10's and it says China on the sticker. My SM4 Oilcans had made in USA. Too bad they're getting them made offshore.
They look like Miuras to me.
And it wouldn't be the first time another company stamped their name on a club made by Miura.
I got a set from Japan too.. probably from the same supplier. Absolutely love them!
