  1. mmmmmmm i could see this putter making its way into my golf bag possibly great video cheers James

  2. James do you think overall that the Mez was too slow for uk greens and you preferred Chris’s insert for a bit more pop.
Do they do heavier head weight and did you go for it. Top video as usual

  3. Looks like a great golf salesman. From start to finish, every putter you used was always left side of the cup. Yet hitting the same hole all the time. Overpriced and no difference at all. Just customisable gimmicks. Good marketing though so kudos

  4. Golf equipment is getting way out of control for the average golfer. Put a rock on a stick and if you practice enough you will be a great putter. I still have my Titleist Dead Center putter and putt much better than a lot of my friends who have spent a lot of money over the years chasing the hype. Nothing can be purchased that can ever replace the amount of time practicing and reading greens.

  5. Do love a good LAB video. I remember watching loads of videos from creators using the df2 All putting really well but unable to get past the look. Few years later so many more people are on the Lab bandwagon and they are been copied by some of the big club manufacturers. I have a Mezz and love it, however I wish I had held out for the oz with the insert, feel it would have been better on slower uk greens. If Sam at LAB has a spare I can send him my address!😂

  6. That was informative, thanks James.

My OZ.1i is 36”/72 Lie Angle with Accra. I was listening any performance benefits of the HS riser hosel like improved forgiveness on toe or heal strikes compared to the Centre Shaft variant… but no mentions so far.

it was interesting that the HS needs the heavier forward weight of the insert and that the Accra shaft also helps by moving weight to the grip end for a better match to the heavier mallet. Also that tour player feedback is often the insert is almost “too hot.”

Looking forward to your review once you’ve lived with the HS for a while (assuming it even makes your rotation).

  7. I demo'd the Oz HS today, and was extremely disappointed. It's very toe heavy, even naturally sits closed at address. I pulled most of the putts I hit with it. Back to back against the center shafted version, felt like old tech vs new tech. The HS doesn't feel zero torque, at all! Will be a tough sell, in my opinion, once people try it.

  8. Why would I believe a CEO with a flat-brimmed hat and wearing shower shoes? A cool dude? Indoor putting surfaces can be made to funnel balls, thus giving false expectations.

  9. I wonder if they'll come up with a softer insert since that ss hotter face insert isn't for everyone but it has to be there for the weight in this new hosel. Hmm. I will say LAB was smart with getting them into the hands of so many content creators early on. Still out of the price range of many of us, but I'm happy for the LAB success story.

  10. Ordered an Oz.i HS today as I’ve been using a jailbird S2S but didn’t like artificially pressing the grip forward. The default lie angle at 70 was also slightly too upright for me

  11. Great video, James. You were like a kid in a sweet shop, haha!
I'll hang fire on a LAB putter until they bring out one with a head shaped like an 8…to match my stroke 😁
