LSU legend and national champion Richard Dickson joins Matt Moscona to talk all things Tigers ahead of the 2025 season opener. The two dive into LSU’s ongoing offensive line shuffle and how it impacts Garrett Nussmeier’s ability to lead the offense. Dickson breaks down the tight end room post-Mason Taylor and what to expect from names like Bauer Sharp, Trey’Dez Green, and Donovan Green.
They also turn to the other side of the ball — why this LSU defense finally looks like the real deal, and Matt reveals his bold prediction for the Tigers’ D this season.
Plus: Richard and Matt go OFF on Auburn’s wild attempt to claim the 2004 national championship. Is it legit… or just college football nonsense?

BK said in same conversation that they are building competition at every position. Richard D is correct.
I'm starting to think that I've built up so much anticipation for this game, i may have forgotten that losing remains a possibility.
FIVE is even harder to defend than 3. LSUs TEs and RBs accounted for 150 receptions last year. Those numbers will not drop. ALL 5 eligible receivers will be targeted by Nuss.
Everybody eats
BK has already said that he was going to make them compete for a starting job right up until the game. He said that it makes everyone better and more sharp.
So why do you loons continuously act as if what BK is doing is unprecedented at LSU and is a problem?
Hey, BK is the head football coach. Just shut the frick up and let the man coach.
Meanwhile, you loons have never coached a football game before in your lives.
Let’s not forget about Donovan Green
