  1. I don't do ppl, at the moment, for work related reasons. I can confirm, ppl is the best split for me

  2. I did JM press today for the first time.. And boy did my WHOLE tricep feel pumped, lateral, medial, long head all felt full, ended up just doing 2 sets of cable extensions at the end and it was enough.

  3. Upper lower with arms currently. I really like it. I hit all the main muscles and then my arms (weak point)

Source: was a PPL guy for a long time

  4. You could just train triceps first on push and biceps first on pull if you really want to prioritize them

  5. i used to do PPL upper lower but now just do PPL because i work and i’m too exhausted lol

  6. Yh I rely on bench and push ups for my triceps icl 😂😂 I do 4-6 skullcrusher sets a week asw which is sick for the long head. My biceps are good I do chin ups once a week and curls/hammer twice a week

  7. I actually just decided to swap from normal ppl

    Now its
    Arms
    Chest and shoulders
    Lats and biceps
    Quads and hams
    Chest and triceps
    Upper back and biceps
    Glutes and cavs

  8. monday – Chest/Back
tuesday – Arms/back and legs isolations & MMA
    wednesday – Rest & MMA
    thursday – MMA and push
    friday – pull
    satuarday – legs
    sunday – rest

    Repeat

  9. I started doing this around my 4th year of training and just worked. So that is good stuff man.

  10. How long between arm day and push/pull should I rest? Like how fast do my arms recover?

  11. I can only do legs once per week usually so for the 4th workout in a week i usually add more arms into push or pull

  12. Legs front and side delt
    Chest biceps Lil side delt
    Back tricep rear delt
    Legs front side delt
    Biceps chest side delt
    Tricep back rear delt

    Arms and delts gonna growwww

    T

  13. Chest+back – Chack Day
    Shoulder+arms – Sarms Day
    Legs -leg day
Rest? Or back to chest+back repeat

  14. 3 years into PPL I switched biceps and triceps so I hit biceps with push and triceps with pull, and I broke past a massive plateau and grew a lot this year.

  15. it also depends on the exercises you do on those days. Or how intense they are. You can't judge a programm by the split alone

  16. So i run a upper/lower/rest/push/pull/legs/rest and i think it is pretty balanced between fun and muscle gain, also recently Jeff Nippard made a video about how he tried a new way of training for a whole year and he actually used this split! But the thing is i’am a big overthinker and exercise selection isn’t my thing because i keep thinking about "what if" this exercise is better than this one and what if i change this and so on and so forth so that makes it a hell harder to select exercises and sets.

  17. Nick Walker runs Push pull legs off upper lower off. its actually pretty fun too. i train arms first in those workouts and i find it doesn't impact my other movements almost at all.

  18. arm days have no reason to exist, they ruin your recovery timings especially if they are lacking
